I absolutely loved this series. Empire is the fifth book in Coopsman Syndicate Series. It sad to see this series end because I loved the every single story from beginning to end. Empire is the book were everything comes together, Roan , the boys, the family and Calla will take down their enemies one at a time. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat. I cried at times, laughed and oh ahhh moments. How can it not be amazing with the likes of Roan, Cain, Dilan and Aidan show their alpha selves in all form. Calla is one strong character, Coopmans puts her strength, loyalty and love for family though so much. She is the queen of the Empire Cain is her king but Roan will always be King of the Empire. Happy Reading!!!

Empire is the final installment in this series and Kathy Coopmans sent it out with a BANG! This book had me in its grasp from page one and kept me on the edge of my seat. The Diamond family suffers a huge loss and completely shakes this family to its core. Trying to figure out who is killing people off and trying to bring down their empire has Roan and Calla being tested in ways they never thought possible. And through it all, the Diamonds never waiver in their unconditional love and loyalty for one another.
This book is full of action, secrets, lies, betrayal, love, loyalty, and so much sexiness! I mean come on…it’s Roan and Alina, Cain and Calla! I always love an Alpha man who’s not afraid to admit that his woman makes him better and can admit he’d be lost without her, and that’s just how Roan and Cain are. They have always been my favorite and continue to be so with this book. Calla really came into herself in this one and showed everyone just how strong of a woman she really is and that she can handle herself in this Empire as she puts everything on the line for her family.

Oh, hell yeah! Kathy brought it!
When I finished book 4, I was hesitant to read 5. The Deliverance of Dilan was good but it wasn’t as good as the others. It felt like a washed out version. But Empire is not washed out, it amps up the tension.
In order to appreciate/understand all that’s going on in Empire, you must read the other books in the Syndicate series. You will be lost otherwise.
Empire starts with an unexpected loss. To say the family is rattled is an understatement. Loss like that has the family shaken to the core. But this is not the end…it’s only the beginning.
People are being killed. Threats are being made. But innocents are dying. Not acceptable.
One person finds the strength to do something terrifying. But will it be in vain? Will it work? Too many variables in a plan that has barely been thought out…
I really enjoyed the conclusion to the Syndicate series. It’s nice to revisit Roan and Calla- their point of views. It was hard to put down. I was desperate to know what was next and if it would work.To see each character grow into their new position was pretty cool.
Again, it’s a mafia book so…sold.

I really enjoyed The Empire. It’s told from the various character’s POV, namely Roan and Calla. It’s not an easy read but it’s definitely a good read. While your heart is breaking and you’re anxious about what comes next, you want to kick someone a$$ and take numbers! But you also care about each of them and despite their lifestyle, want them to find whatever peace they may find.
Risks are taken and secrets kept, but it’s all done for justice, for love and yes, for revenge. It’s time to take control of their destiny and standing tall and strong despite fears gets the job done. Healing and some modicum of peace follows. This series was my first by this author and I loved these characters and their story.
What a wonderful conclusion to this series. I hated to see it end. Family means the world. You never know what’s going to happen, so don’t take anything for granted. This story follows Roan and Calla as they struggle within themselves to find their true place in the Empire.
5 Diamond Strong Stars!!!
This is the fifth and final book in this incredible series from Kathy Coopmans. I can not believe this is the end. This series is addicting and I’m not sure what I’m going to do knowing I don’t have another book coming lol. Now, if you haven’t read the first four books then do NOT read this review or book! Go read the others first. If you don’t read them you’ll be lost and you won’t be as invested with this family as you should.
Roan Diamond and his cousin Calla are the next in line to run the Diamond empire. Unfortunately their time is here and a lot sooner then they’ve expected. And, its not the way it should be. They have a lot to prove all while trying to save their family from being taken out one by one.
Roan’s world isn’t making sense to him. His father has been taken from him. His entire family is stuck in doors until he figures out who killed his father. Roan wants to find the person/people responsible and why. Then, he’ll kill them himself with his own two hands. He must get his head put back on straight. He’s worried for his cousin Calla. She’s his second to this family. He knows she can handle it without a problem. But, the guys they deal with just won’t accept her and make it easy for her. Roan won’t rest until someone is dead and his family is safe.
Calla is one strong woman and loves her family. When she found out who her family was and what they do, she never cared or turned her back on them. She’d do anything for them. Calla is a well respected lawyer and has earned the respect. She has given up her job to be her families advisor/lawyer. The fact she’s not a man will make it that much harder to get these types of guys to respect and take her seriously. Calla ad her cousin Roan must work together and agree with each other. Calla comes up with a plan on taking down the people who are after her family. Her husband Cain and cousin Roan don’t like it one bit. But, Calla knows it must be done. Even if it ruins her reputation and takes her away from her husband, daughter and family.
This book was crazy! It kept me on edge from the first to last page. I never knew which way it was going. Even though this family are deep within the mafia and have killed, stolen, tortured and anything else you can think of. They love their family and will die to protect them. This book had everything you’d want in a book. I’m so upset this series is over. I can’t wait for Kathy’s next book!!
What a way to end the series with a bang! Kathy Coopmans holds nothing back with this final book of the Syndicate series and I absolutely loved it. You have all the players from the series involved but the PoVs are from Calla and Roan. This book was raw, gritty and passionate rolled into a little package that had such a great intrigue element that I had a hard time putting it down.
What I really loved about this book is you get to see how strong all the characters become, especially Calla. She really holds her own even though she is scared out of her wits. Roan, oh I still love that man. Tough is nails but a marshmallow on the inside when it comes to his family. The way these cousins work together is utterly epic!
Overall, I am sad to see the series end as I have reviewed it from the beginning. Coopmans created an amazing world with great characters and stunning backstories. The passion all of the characters have is unparalleled and it is by far one of my favorite series to date. I highly urge you to pick this series up! You will not regret it!
