Beau had enough he was going to get the loud neighbor to turn the music down. What he found was a girl from long ago. When her parents and his parents came in they were neighbors of the past. How ironic. But what he didn’t bargain for was this pretty woman to reach in and artistically mold his broken heart and life.
3.5 bumped to 4. Emergency Engagement starts the Love Emergency series off right! Beau and Savannah are both hilarious, warm-hearted, caring individuals who have had some crappy luck. OK, Beau’s luck was beyond crappy. It was devastating and he isn’t recovering. In fact, he is refusing to recover. That’s the entire problem.
Beau and Savannah live next door to one another, in a cheap apartment complex with very thin walls. They are caught in a compromising position by their parents and instantly realize they have known each other all their lives. Who would have thought the other is the kid they hung out with as a toddler? From there, things spiral quickly out of control with some pretty hilarious moments.
The story is cute and entertaining with just enough emotions going around to keep things interesting. The characters are engaging and witty; their banter will keep you smiling. There isn’t any great intrigue and things move at a good pace. I did feel the ending was a little rushed and somehow not complete. However, it was a perfect segue into book two so I’m sure I’ll find out more about Beau and Savannah in Hunter’s story.
Very well written despite the trope, this is a wonderfully crafted book. The character driven story shows remarkable growth and development, not to mention the intense and sizzling chemistry.

Samanthe Beck does it again. She’s written yet another amazing book! I just love the way that she develops the relationships between characters and shows, not tells, how her characters fall in love with each other. And mixed in with that are scorching hot sex scenes. She always has the best balance of non-sex scenes to sex scenes, it never feels like there are too many of the latter or too little. I fell in love with Savannah instantly, she’s just amazing. She’s a glass artist, she’s sassy, witty, and such an amazingly loving and caring person. Then there’s Beau the stoic, closed off, yet caring EMT. They just make such a great pair and I loved watching them fall in love with each other! I am really, really looking forward to the next books in this series, especially Hunter’s book. I can’t decide which female I’d like to see him with though, Sam’s given us two great options in this book.
I received an ARC of this book from Entangled Publishing on Netgalley. This in no way affected my review.
This was an enjoyable read. Characters were believable, storyline kept moving.
A cute romance with some fun twists and turns. Bringing in family characters and twists just made it more easy to connect with.
So very good! An actual ot could happen story
Great book

A funny and great read. I would recommend this book. I had trouble putting it down. Definitely a little steamy at times that will put a little color in your cheeks, but very well written you won’t be disappointed.
Unexpectedly good.
These characters were so hot. Wow I loved it! I loved the family connection early off. There was so much going on under what we were seeing from the two of them. I loved how strong Savanna is. I loved the tenderness of the story. It got very emotional at times.
I love this book. Can’t wait for my post menapause 50 something brain to forget I read this so I can read it all over again!
Story about an EMT.
Very much enjoyed the characters and story.
Great story and characters
Well written read. Characters were easy to fall in love with (some were easy to hate) and the emotions come through the words perfectly. I enjoyed the ups and downs and the witty sense of humor throughout. Who knew a paint can could cause so much mischief 🙂
I am interested in reading the other books in the series and hopefully these 2 characters make another appearance in them (or ya know… 2 or 3 🙂 )
Enjoyed the series!!! Read all three!
The author pulled me right into the book. It was an easy read with lots of steamy parts. You will fall in love with the charactures but hate others.
BEST BOOK EVER!!!
