“You can bend or you can break, but something tells me you’re too strong and too smart to break. I know I am.” –– Alexis Carmichael________________________________________The Prophecy’s about you, Red…Allie Carmichael has so many secrets, she doesn’t know which way is up anymore. After dropping a huge bombshell and then leaving her in limbo all summer, Greggory McBrien still hasn’t answered the … McBrien still hasn’t answered the questions that have haunted her for months. The knowledge that her life was built on a foundation of lies and deception has left Allie an angry, twisted mess of emotions. She still feels overwhelmed with guilt for her mistakes that left her scarred for life and Quinn, one of her closest friends, a captive of the Coalition.
When she returns to school and her normal routine, Allie finds herself constantly dancing on the edge of losing control of her power, too afraid and too angry to confide in anyone––even her handsome and broody best friend, Aidan.
A chance encounter at the Immortal club, Amrita, gives Allie and her friends the opportunity to aid in the search for Quinn. If they have any hope of ever bringing him home safely, they’ll have to act quickly.
As Allie continues to struggle with the nightmares that only Aidan can keep at bay, she vows to face them on her own. But she doesn’t understand what her clairvoyant gift is trying to tell her. Just when she begins to put the pieces together, she fears it might be too late––and this time the price for her mistakes will be much too high.
Last time she was afraid. This time she is angry.

4 words that have been haunting Allie for months. After the event that changed everyone’s future in book #1, Allie has finally returned back to Kelleys Island, carrying with her the biggest secret about her past.
The knowledge of her past and the fact she’s not sure if she can confide in Aidan and the absence of her father and Gregg, has left Allie a mess of emotions, dancing every day on the edge of losing control over her new power. If at the beginning Allie was afraid, now she is angry and raging.
The Judgment the more you read it, the more it takes a twisted turn, from dark secrets to horrible visions that seem like nightmares – but are they only nightmares, or are they a glimpse of the future?
Adventurous events are taking place throughout the entire book leaving you wanting for more, there’s not one moment where you can predict what’s happening next.
New things are surfacing such as the Synthrophos – a connection family/friend bond between 3 people (one might be romantically involved but one is always never romantic-like) which makes things so much more complicated and changing the lives of the ones involved.
Also, the slow burn romance between Aidan & Allie that I’ve been waiting for from the #1 book finally happened, it left me in awe when Allie finally left her guard down and just lost herself in Aidan’s arms, an emotional moment that was I’ve been longing for it.
I’m definitely waiting for the next books to read, especially after the amazing events during The Judgment, the new powers Allie developed, and the slow romance between her and Aidan, It’s impossible not to want more!

Allie is starting to come into her own as an immortal, learning more every day about her powers and how to protect herself. She is still haunted by what happened to her friend Quinn the night of the school dance. Determined to find him, Allie and her friends head into aaImmortal night club to see what they can learn, coming out with more questions then answers of what is really going on in the immortal world.
This is such a great continuation of the previous story in the series. We see the struggles that Allie goes through because of who she is and what she is capable of. The story is so unique and I absolutely love it! I don’t read a lot of YA books, but this series has continued to draw me in and look for more. I definitely recommend this book and series.
This was a really good story and I enjoyed reading it! The characters are well developed (my pet peeve!) and interesting. The story world was interesting and believable. The writing flowed smoothly along and kept me engrossed in the story. I definitely recommend it!

Allie and the rest of her friends are back and of course things are not all happy. Allie is mad and trying to live her life but of course that doe snot go so well. Interesting watching her learn more about herself and harness her powers and deal with the typical teen and school stuff. Action and danger abound. The characters and the story itself are amazing and just draw you in to see what happens next, what might be revealed next to throw Allie for a loop, and who might pop up. Just a great story that was fun to read with its mix of myth and everyday stuff.
Loved it!!!
This book was a great second installment to the Immortals of Indriell series. Allies growth of confidence and understanding of her powers was exciting to read. Also, her relationship with all the McBrien boys was fun to read! You also learn more about the Immortal world and the Coalition.
Overall a great book for fans of supernatural action and romance.
I received this as a free ARC copy, but all opinions are my own.
I liked this one even better than the first! Plenty of action, great character growth and just so many twists that made me want to sit through the night to finish it. I highly recommend this series.
Judgement is the second book in the Immortals of Indriell series.

Final Rating: 5 Stars
Oh my gosh! This book! This book was even more thrilling than book 1! I couldn’t put this book down!! It was such an adventure to follow all these characters! Like book 1 the story has more mythology mixed throughout so you never knew what to expect as far as family goes. There were tense fight scenes, vivid horrible dreams, new bonds between characters, new realizations…..I could go on but, it all comes down to very awesome read!! I just love following these characters and their adventures! I need the next one NOW!!!!
“Judgement“ by Melissa A. Craven, the second book in the “Immortal of Indriell” Series follows Allie Carmichael in a new chapter on her life, where she is still struggling to cope with the revelations about her destiny, and the disappearance of Gregg (the one who could fill in the blanks) makes things even more complicated. Fighting her guilt over letting the Coalition take Quinn captive and coming to terms with the fact that her whole life is based on lies, makes Allie lose control with no one around to confide in. After an attack that give them some clues on Quinn whereabouts, his rescue seems possible, but Allie is still fighting against her own nightmares, that could in fact be the clue to find Quinn, and this time her reluctance to act could have even direr consequences.
“The Immortals of Indriell” is set in a whole new UF world populated by immortal beings that differ from any other characters already seen in modern urban fantasy, beautifully well-crafted, with its own hidden history and geographical system, genealogy, particularities and special powers. The story is very well-written, and offers an interesting plot and fully fleshed characters, whose actions are dictated by both the actual circumstances and their own millennia old traditions and experiences.
It’s 1 in the morning where I live and I’ve just finished this book.
I hope that gives you some idea of the intensity of the story. The determination to complete this book was unprecedented.
It’s beyond awesome, it’s beyond a tense fantasy world . It’s simply phenomenal.
Allie’s journey in this is literally mind blowing. The characters are rock solid , the storyline with incredible twists along the way make this one of the best reads I’ve had.
There aren’t many authors I’ll stay up this late for but Melissa is one of them.
I enjoy this book from beginning to the end. The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is strong. The storyline flowed smoothly from the beginning to the end.

Seeing Allie becoming a stronger person is great! She was not as strong previously but maybe that is because she found out the truth about her parents, the prophecy is not about her and her friend Quinn is captured! Trying to hold it together, keeping up appearances and doing whatever she has to do to rescue Quinn. In depth continuing story that keeps getting better!

Our small band of immortals are starting to learn the path that their lives will be on. And in doing so , Allie is learning that tragedy and love is intertwined. The twists and turns in their journey do sometimes turn up good things as well. Will the team find Quinn? Will Aidan sever his connection to Allie? Will her nightmares finally be contained? Exciting journey.

This was a good follow up to the first book. There are a lot of characters and trying to remember who they are and how they relate to Allie and Aidan is sometimes confusing.
ONE FAN-TABU-LOUS TREAT!!!
Throw down baby! Melissa totally nailed this bad boy 100% on point with one dramatic storyline and gripping plot that catapults this baby to life beautifully. A churning eddy of inadvertant events and vexing circumstances keep you flipping page after page. Hurdling the trials and tribulations that propels those swirling emotions bursting into play smoothly. The characters are authentic, consistent and realistic with depth and qualities that’s easy to relate. Sparks fly as confusion, mayhem and suspense ensues in epic proportions. Drama, pulse racing, smooth flowing wonder that melds all the pieces together sleek, shiny and tight. The scenes are so colorfully detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Melissa, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
