Traitors. Thieves. Liars. Lovers. We had been all of these.I have stolen hearts that weren’t mine to take. Betrayed my country for the sake of another night in my lovers’ bed. Lied to the people I said I loved. All for the tarnished crown of an empire than can no longer exist. The first time I saw Blair I forgot what I was meant to be.The last time I saw Ben, I remembered.I am the kingmaker. The … be.
The last time I saw Ben, I remembered.
I am the kingmaker.
The fixer.
The healer.
I am the one who can end this.
Emeralds is the final book in the Tarnished Crown Trilogy,

Where do I begin? The way things began, the story automatically took off; there was not a dull moment in this book. In this book you find out that everyone has secrets of her own, which that had me pulling my hair to find out what’s happening. Any how, I don’t want to give anything away, but I love the chemistry between all 3 main characters (Blair, Isaac, and Ben) and I am really happy to see them back together in this book. Also, if you are looking for a strong female character who stands up to strong men, this is your book. This book has some crazy twist and turns by the way. This series has been one of the best I have read, and I highly recommend it.

Emeralds is book three in the Tarnished Crowns trilogy and can NOT be read as a stand-alone. You must read Chandelier and Grenade prior to this one.
Now that we have that out of the way…
HOLY CRAP, what did I just read?!
Let me tell you, this whole series has been a crazy, twisty roller coaster ride. I don’t know how Annie Dyer came up with the concept for this series or how she navigated us through it to the other side but wow, I’m so very impressed with this author. I’m not going to give away anything. I’ll just tell you, ALL of your questions will be answered. All of the secrets will be revealed. Everything will make sense in the end. You’ll wonder how you’re going to get there, but get there, you will and you’ll enjoy the heck out of the ride. This was just a fantastic ending to a unique, suspenseful journey that I won’t soon forget. Highly recommend!
I have to admit I usually don’t go for MMF books, but being on Annie’s ARC team inspired me to read one, as I do love her books and style of writing, and I have to say I loved the trilogy, and want more!
The final book is full of twists and turns, conspiracies, alliances, and lots of hot hot sex! The author keeps you interested and I found it hard to put the book down. The characters are all different, from different backgrounds but just fit together so well, they are just meant to be with each other, the problem is love never runs smoothly!

A absolutely brilliant finish to the trilogy. I cant say how much i loved this book to end the story of these characters. It was absolutely fantastic. It had many twists and turns throughout but i found it addictive, i just wanted to read more and more. Such a beautifully fantastic story.
This final book in the Tarnished Crown Trilogy was terrific!
A perfect ending for Isaac,Blair and Ben along with the mystery of the traitor being revealed.
A story full of emotions, angst, with intrigue that will keep you guessing still the end,
plus the undeniable sexiness between these beautiful characters, giving us a fabulous conclusion.
Prepare yourself for the unexpected. Ok so to begin with this is mostly told from Isaac’s POV. There are layers upon layers in this story. Twists, turns, and what the heck is going on moments. If you were expecting a tidy little wrap up this is not this book. This is the ultimate, expect the unexpected. While I was reading all these quotes from MacBeth were running through my mind, because they were so relatable. One quote that hit me hard from MacBeth ,”When shall we three meet again in thunder, lightning or in rain?” There was so much going on and not knowing who to trust but the love, oh the love the these three held for each other. It just tugged at every heartstring I had. And the other two MacBeth quotes are, “Fair is foul and foul is fair” meaning appearances can be deceiving and many times what we think is bad we ourselves end up doing thinking it’s for good, and “Something wicked this way comes”. If you read this trilogy you will see how all this fits. It’s as true today as it was when it was written. Politics make strange bedfellows and in British politics it seems the seem as in American politics. Anyway, since I can’t divulge the story I’m just giving you how it affected me.
So as I said previously, expect the unexpected. You never really know who to trust. Sometimes those you trust the most, can hurt you the worst. This is a trilogy I will definitely be re-reading. It’s captivating. It held me hostage the whole time I couldn’t put it down!
EMERALDS by Annie Dyer is the third and final book in the Tarnished Crowns Series. I’m so sad it’s over! I have loved each of these books. What a journey Blair, Ben and Isaac went on. Emeralds ends very differently than they way it started. I had such hopes for them. Love how we got so much more of Isaac in Emeralds. He makes me blush.
I have enjoyed this series so much. It was written beautifully. Completely swept me away from my everyday life into the Scottish castle with Blair, Ben and Isaac.
The final book of the series was EVERYTHING! The emotional turmoil is felt on every single page. It had my heart just on the floor. The steam factor was off the charts! Wow! Wow! Wow! Besides the heat there was a fantastic story of intrigue, mystery, traitors and secrets all wrapped up in a tarnished crown.
The final book in the Tarnished Crowns series is amazing!!
Told mostly from Isaac’s point of view, the pieces of the puzzle finally come together and all of the questions are answered. Blair, Ben and Issac must decide who to trust and where their loyalties lie. There is plenty of excitement, a lot of steam and a wonderfully satisfying ending.
This series kept my heart racing (and sometimes breaking!). Loved it!!
What a fabulous end to this great trilogy!! In Emeralds we get more of the mystery, the deception & the steam from the first 2 books but Emeralds is mostly from Isaac’s POV. There were twists & turns I didn’t see coming but everything gets wrapped up with a very pretty ribbon.
The long-awaited conclusion! I didn’t know how the story would be resolved, but in the hands of an author I trust, I got the satisfaction I needed. What a beautiful conclusion to a fascinating tale!
Love reigns.
Emeralds is the explosive conclusion to the Tarnished Crowns series. I was anxious for Isaac’s book, for the answers to the various questions that arose in Chandelier and Grenade. The character development was thorough, while the conspiracies and web of lies and deceit were ingenious. This book brings us more heat with Blair, Ben, and Isaac, proving the veracity of their chemistry and dare I say love, for each other. The entire series was an emotional roller coaster that ended with a bit of a jolt and gave a resolution I desired.
Wonderfully written conclusion to the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy.
The best thing is how it comes together and how much love our characters have!
Annie Dyer is an amazing talent and really wrote a trilogy worth reading over and over!
FUDGING HELL, Annie Dyer! Wow! What did I just read?!
Intrigue, romance, surprises, and OH MY GOSH that steeeeeam!! Annie Dyer has absolutely slayed this trilogy and knocked it out of the park with Emeralds! Things we thought we knew get turned upside down and the twists keep coming and are spectacular! Gah, the writing continues to be hypnotic, entrhralling, and unputdownable. The romance is epic and the story is superb. Like, damn girl! Blair, Issac, and Ben get the HEA they’ve fought for and deserve and I was here for it!
I loved everything about Emeralds and The Tarnished Crowns trilogy. FREAKING STELLAR!! This is 10000% must read romance. And I’m going to put it out there once again for the universe to hear: WE NEED THIS ON AUDIO! A bajillion stars.
Emeralds by Annie Dyer is book 3 in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy. It’s the final book and what a way to end the trilogy. This story was told from Isaac’s POV; this story is full of action, drama, angst, intrigue, suspense…twists and turns and the OMG moments, along with the passion, heat and sizzling chemistry between Blair, Ben and Isaac. This final book did the threesome right and ended on their journey together wrapped just right. You will want to read all 3 books in this Trilogy, especially this final book to enjoy the glittering HEA.
My Rating: 4.5 stars ********
Explosive
This is the third book in the Tarnished Crowns trilogy and it’s a humdinger! Full of political intrigue and mysterious players with questionable motives. You will fall in love with Isaac, Ben and Blair as they maneuver through the daily land mines of this alternate royal world!
The conclusion to the Tarnished Crowns trilogy has arrived in the form of Emeralds. I was anticipating this story and it was just as magnificent as I was expecting. This story was told from Isaac’s point of view, filled with intrigue and angst, and has Blair, Ben and Isaac all questioning who they could trust among those that should be the closest to them. You definitely need to read the first two books in the trilogy to make sense of all of the players; but I promise, your invested time will be well worth it. There is finally an HEA, but not without a lot of suspense and surprise on who has been sharing Blair’s secrets and their reason why. Five stars from me!
Annie Dyer maintained the suspense, sensuality and angsty feelings in the Tarnished Crown Trilogy from the first book to the last, Emeralds. It is difficult to describe the hard yet soft, edgy and scintillating vibe of Annie’s writing. The words are exquisitely written to create the most amazing feels. One of the best MMF Romantic suspense I have ever read!
Ben, Isaac and Blair’s story has reached the last phase. Ben has silently disappeared. Blair is grieving him. But her life is bombarded with so many crisis. Her dying father. Her responsibilities to steer her country to the right directions. The life threats. Isaac is trying his best to clear the fog of traitorous intentions, deception, political power plays and his feelings for Ben and Blair. Too much is at stake. Can they find a way to a peaceful and happy ending? Where is Ben?
The chemistry among Blair, Ben and Isaac is so much beyond physical magnetism and sexual debauchery. They are parts of a puzzle. They are whole only when together. They gather strength, solace and love from each other. It is unique. It is unconventional. But the feels make perfect sense. The story is a minefield. The Author hit you with secrets and twists incessantly. I was on the edge of my seat all the time. She tied all the loose ends with a nice bow. On one hand this is a filthy, depraved, dirty and sexy MMF romance. On other hand it is a brilliantly executed political thriller. The angst and pain of heartache mixed perfectly with nail biting suspense.
The Tarnished Crown trilogy by Annie Dyer ended spectacularly in Emeralds. An unforgettable, breathtaking and unputdownable series. Definitely in my top 2020 Reads!
Received ARC for honest review
Book three in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy was an amazing conclusion to a great story. Annie keeps you guessing on who the good and who the bad are throughout most of the book, There’s more great love scenes between the three and there’s so much depth to the all the characters in the book, you often feel you are in the room with them during conversations. Just about every question is answered and you don’t feel like you were cheated with anything. All of the storylines and characters you were given throughout the books all come to some sort of ending. This is definitely a trilogy I will read again and again. It’s action packed, steamy, full of intrigue all wrapped up in three great books.
I received an ARC in return for my honest review
HOT DAMN!! The conclusion to this trilogy was just as I expected… it had everything, mystery, intrigue and some damn fine sexy scenes between the main three characters. There are so many twists and turns in this series, everyone has secrets and more and more are exposed as the story continues… culminating in a very interesting and disturbing reveal leading to the ultimate betrayal. No one is spared in this gritty and gripping final book, I love how Annie is able to keep her readers guessing right until the very end. I can’t recommend this series highly enough, this will stay with me for a long long time!
