Grim Reaper Charley Davidson is back in Eleventh Grave in Moonlight, the latest installment of Darynda Jones’ New York Times bestselling paranormal series. My entire life can be summed up in one sentence: “Well, that didn’t go as planned.” –T-Shirt A typical day in the life of Charley Davidson involves cheating husbands, errant wives, missing people, philandering business owners, and, oh … missing people, philandering business owners, and, oh yeah…demons, hell hounds, evil gods, and dead people. Lots and lots of dead people. As a part time Private Investigator and full-time Grim Reaper, Charley has to balance the good, the bad, the undead, and those who want her dead.
Now, Charley is learning to make peace with the fact that she is a goddess with all kinds of power and that her own daughter has been born to save the world from total destruction. But the forces of hell are determined to see Charley banished forever to the darkest corners of another dimension. With the son of Satan himself as her husband and world-rocking lover, will Charley be able to defeat the ultimate evil and find a way to have her happily ever after after all?

I love this series. The characters are well written and exciting. The story line is new and invigorating. I have read the series a few times, and never get tired of the story. I can’t wait until the next in the series is released.
What the heck that ending. This has been amazing series every book got better and better. Really can’t wait for bool 12. I love Charley and Rey’s And uncle and cookie. This book had a lot in it. I wasn’t bored at all. I needed to keep reading. And now that ending omg I need more. Darynda jones you are amazing writer.
I’ve read this entire series through to book eleven. There’s not a one of them I haven’t enjoyed. My only problem is she’s only writing two more books before the series ends.
Charley Davidson is the hero we all want to be and the hero we actually are. Fumbling, bumbling, silly, strong, smart, ridiculous, perfect and flawed.
HOLY SON OF SATAN!!
That ending….THAT ending! What?? NOOOOOOOO…..
So Charley is back and this time she is hired by Shawn Foster to officially look into the people who abducted him and Reyes when they were babies. There’s a rogue God on the loose looking for their daughter. Uncle Bob is acting strange and keeps threatening to arrest Charley if she doesn’t stay home and safe. And Angels are everywhere… are they following Charlie after her threat to take over the world?
I absolutely love this series!!! Charley is her normal wacky, hysterical self and the more she learns about her powers, the harder my jaw hits the floor in shock! I don’t even have the words to describe how much I LOVED THIS BOOK! The ending nearly killed me! It’s not exactly a happy one and I know it’s not the very end, but I’m scared for what this may mean for Charley and Reyes. As much as I want them to learn about their true selves, I’m not giving up hope that their love can survive it!
How in the Hell can it end like this??? LOL Cliff hanger from HELL! 😀 hehehe
This is a great addition to the series! I love that Charley is figuring out more about herself. I love her and Reyes relationship even more. I have loved Osh since he was introduced, but love him more now. He loves everyone Charley loves. He is so cute!
I HOPE and pray Ubie doesn’t ever die. Cookie NEEDS him. This on made me so nervous of that.
I LOVE all of the characters.
Once again thank you for an amazing adventure!

Thoughts: I’m not sure how Darynda Jones does it but I swear each book just keeps getting better and better. This one ends with quite the doozy! Total scream moment with a dash of despair since the next book isn’t out yet, argh! But I absolutely LOVED it!!! Although, the cliffhanger really isn’t needed, there’s no way that I would not read the next book, just saying. I get it though, as much as I hate cliffhangers, I have to admit I secretly like them. It helps keep the story in the back of my mind while I anxiously await the next book. I don’t think I could forget this ending if I wanted to (and part of me does cuz OMG YOU CAN’T END IT THERE!!!!!).
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.
What a cliff hanger!!! Hurry up Darynda Jones and get that next book out. I’m dying!! Lol. Ok so Charley is at it again. And man does she really do it this time. While staying away from their daughter, Reyes and Charley deal with the God who is out to kill her. Then the people who kidnapped Reyes when he was a baby become her new case. Also Charley has to worry about Ubie and Amber has a stalker. With so much going on Charley has Angels stalking her. Can she overcome all the new obstacles? I don’t know but I hope it doesn’t kill her in the process.
