My name is Pamela, and I am the strongest witch the world has ever seen. Only I’m not just a witch, I’m an elemental, and that truth makes me a target and a threat. The elementals of this world are done hiding in the shadows. And there is a faction of them who want to rule our world. They want to put the humans beneath their heels, and they want all the power to themselves. Standing between …
Standing between them and their goal are only two people, two that still hold a connection to Spirit, the key to stopping them. Myself, and my father. But the elementals we face are no fools.
They’ve taken the most precious thing from us both. A child who could be everything they need to force all the elementals to bend a knee.
A child whom I’ve always known was special.
They’ve taken Frost.
If I have to break the world again to find him, I will.
Because I’m done hiding too.
And the elementals had better be ready to play.

This book! This entire series! Holy cow!! What a ride! This one, man where to start? The emotional roller coaster, it takes you for quite the ride, anger, fear, disbelief, tears, happiness. I loved the twists that kept me turning the pages and rooting for Pam and Alex and Oka, then when one of the older character from her own series (Rylee) shows up I almost cheered out loud. I mean come on this all really started with Rylee so to have her here in this book at the end of Pamela’s questing witch series, well it was the icing on the cake so to speak.
The characters in this book are so well developed that they are easy to picture in your head and the scenes are so well written it is easy to slip right in to it as you read the book.
Oh how I hope that this brings on an entire new Rylee series. If you have not read the Rylee series I would start there but you do not have to in order to understand what is going on in the Questing Witch series. I would start with the first book “Aimless Witch”before you read Elemental Witch.
This is the conclusion of the Questing Witch Series…. Pamela’s story….. Holy Heck this book was GOOD….
What a GREAT ending to Pamela’s story…. This book gave me all the feels…. I laughed, cried, yelled, screamed and then started all the emotions all over again.
It’s amazing to see how much Pamela has grown throughout the years!!
I’m sad to see her story come to an end, but what a story it was….
And hopefully we will see her again in future books…. please????…
LOVED THIS BOOK AND SERIES….
Wow, this final book wraps up the story, but man it left me with a book hangover. Shannon can take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride and leave you both loving her and hating her. This book brings back some old familiar characters, so if you’ve read the Rylee Adamson books, you’ll be excited to see these characters show up.
The end to Pamela’s story is phenomenal! There was so much depth and emotion. I saw a strong message in this story. It felt important. More than just fiction or fantasy. It made me think of real life situations that people go through and how families are affected. I really loved it. It stayed in my heart and mind long after finishing. We also get to see some more beloved characters from the Rylee Adamson series. The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat.
Wow, wow, wow!! I’m not sure where to start!!
Throughout Pamela’s journey we watched her grow to the person she is today. This may be the best book of this series! It is epic, and I absolutely loved riding this journey with the gang. I loved the multiple POVs. Don’t miss out on this series, Shannon Mayer does not disappoint!! Be ready to ignore the world and be prepared to jump into Pamela’s world!! I was super stoked to see Rylee!! I absolutely love her!
Wow… I couldn’t put this book down! I don’t want to give anything away – but if you like a roller coaster, in the dark this is the book for you. Hold on and enjoy the ride!
Elemental Witch
OMG what a ride! I read this book in one sitting as there was no way in this life that I could put it down. The end just torqued me up for whatever Shannon decides to do to these characters next. I’m not sure I even breathed through most of the last half of the book. Shannon Mayer is one HECK of an author. The series started with a character that I felt lukewarm about at best. I still can’t say Pamela is a favorite, but I’d love to see her story resolved happily for her. That may be unreasonable as life isn’t always nice and fair. Choices are made and consequences result. Not everyone has a happy ending. However Shannon resolves this or even if she doesn’t, this was a brilliant ending to the series. If, in fact, it is the end.
*Some Spoilers*
It’s taken me a while to ruminate on the contents of this book before I could leave a review. The series is still SOOOOO DARK, and this last book is no exception. There’s a conclusion; kind of, and after letting things settle for me after reading it, I can say I am satisfied with the ending and wouldn’t be upset if this series didn’t continue
for much longer.
This book was so difficult for me to read because it’s like a train wreck. Not the writing, or content really, but Pamela struggles so much and turns on her friends and family to do what she thinks is right; yet she has a warped sense of reality due to (a plot twist). There’s a duplicity to the book since you get the situations from Pam’s perspective, and also Alex’s. It did take me a while to understand what was really going on because my gut instinct is to trust the main character’s point of view. It’s what I’ve been trained to believe in so many books. The fact that it isn’t is pure writing genius; but you can’t help but cringe when you see the world through her eyes though you know what she’s doing is wrong on so many levels. This hasn’t been my favorite series of Mayer’s, but I appreciate the writing style, plot, and storyline. Mayer never takes the easy way out, and this is no exception. She really is brilliant. Twisted; but brilliant.
This One Leaves You Gulping For Breath With A Tattered Heart!!
There’s So Much Love In This Book!!

Elemental Witch:
Questing Witch #4
Blimey, this was exceptional!
Raven is with the caravan waiting for Pam to return from her battle with the First Witch & repairing the Veil. He asks for her help to find Frost as the Elementals have taken him! She’s struggling to hold it together after losing Mac, She tells Alex to stay & help the Caravan find the Haven. He’s torn, he desperately wants to stay with the woman he’s always loved to comfort & protect her, he respects her need for space though. Peta makes his decision easier with her arrival with some insights.
Raven, Pam & Oka search for Elementals with the knowledge of Frost’s whereabouts. The Undines are first but are smug about holding their knowledge back from him. Pam won’t stand for it & rips the truth from them, freeing their spirit bound King at the same time! Pam’s willingness to do whatever it takes is shocking in her brutality! It was almost like Sam, back before she was named, when she took Pam over! Would Pamela ever find her peace with her family & Alex? Another man??
This story is unreal. It again went in directions I just didn’t see coming! I was upset, angry & shocked, I was crushed, hurt & frustrated. I understood – but I wasn’t happy, especially about the lie told to Alex. I’m sure it was for the best though!! #MalificentThorn I await the Author’s next round of genius in this World with a lump of dread in stomach & slivers of hope in my heart! Rylee will be the Thorn in anyone’s side, she’s proven that. I wonder who will be by her side?

Great read…and definitely a mental maze, good wrap up to Thorn becoming the dark witch and getting a break from life’s emotional nightmares and dragged around by circumstances beyond her control…quite deep and psychological…
Audiobook review: Elemental Witch is an an action packed story that complements the Questing Witch series nicely. Pamela finds herself and becomes what fate demanded. Alex plays a pretty large role and Riley and Liam also make an appearance. The story is interesting and entertaining. The characters are endearing. The narrator did an awesome job!
This was a wild roller coaster of a story! Every time you turned around it turned everything around, twisted you into knots, and played on every emotion that you have! This was skillfully written, it pulled in characters from the Rylee Adamson Series that beautifully tied the ending together, and when it was all over it took a few days to absorb what just happened. All in all very well done, and thank you for the opportunity to review this gem!
Elemental Witch is the 4 and final book in Pamela’s story.. It makes me sad but I have a feeling that her story is not over.. there is still more to be told.
In Elemental Witch you will read about adventure, challenges, magic and love… Pamela’s powers have grown and she no longer has the bracelets that blocked her from her elemental powers. That happened in Maze Witch..
I loved reading Elemental Witch although I did not see the ending coming out that way.. thank you Mrs. Mayer for an awesome adventure…
Wow. There were more twists and turns in this than I ever expected. I went on quite the roller coaster of emotions throughout reading the novel as well. I loved that we got to see some old familiar faces and as always, lots of action throughout. I’ve always loved Pam, and while this didn’t go the way I was expecting at the end, it’ll be interesting to see how everything plays out in Shannon’s future series.
What happens if the good guys don’t get to win or if the villains aren’t all evil? What do you do when the truth you thought you knew turns out to be more than you imagined? Pamela has always struggled with both sides of herself, and in the conclusion to her story we see how she faces head on the trials set against her and finds a way to accept the path she is on and take the lead in her own story. Have the tissues handy and steel yourself against the emotions this book will insight in you, it’s a roller coaster ride and it’s worth every guy twisting turn to the end!
Elemental Witch is book four in Shannon Mayer’s Questing Witch series and all I can say is…buckle up, grab some tissues, and prepare yourself for ANYTHING!
This book picks up where book three left off. Pam really has no time to mourn the loss of the man she loved because a new problem has cropped up. I mean, one would think that she’d be allowed at least a few minutes to mourn but that’s not the world that she lives in. She now must go on a journey to recover one who was stolen away and it’s going to be nothing but an uphill battle. But all is not as it seems, and the question is…where will this journey take them all?
This book is INTENSE!! My jaw dropped, I cried my eyes out, and my jaw dropped again. LOL! The author really takes us on a trip with this book and it is an intense roller coaster ride. There are so many twists and surprises with this book that it kept me page-turning when I needed to be accomplishing other tasks. I didn’t want to put this book down. I thought I was broken-hearted at the end of book three, but this book left me a complete mess…and I loved it.
Now! For those who complain about cliffhangers…sorry, but this book hands you one on a silver platter. I’ll admit it I practically howled, but at the same time I’m eager for the next storyline to see what happens, who the author chooses to follow, and where things go from here.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book gives you all the feels, so as I said at the beginning…prepare yourself for anything and everything. Set aside plenty of time to read, because once you start this book you won’t want to stop even after the book has ended.
OMG….I couldn’t put it down! I love Shannon Mayer’s mind and how her stories keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happen’s next. Elemental Witch was no exception. Pamela finds herself as most do, in the throes of adversity. She makes you laugh and cry in equal measure. I cannot recommend this book enough and am anxiously waiting for the next one!
As we continue our journey with Pamela, insanity ensues.
Comrades or enemies?
In reading this story Ms Mayer as always, pulls you in as if you are together with characters, helping with choices to save all. Tears will be shed, in fear, sorrow and mostly important, love. Families will be pulled apart and reunited.
You won’t be disappointed in the ending of this tale, you’ll be ready for it’s continuation into the next.
Holy guacamole Batman! This is the final book in The Questing Witch series and Shannon Mayer did not disappoint! I had to wait a day before I could write this review because it left me with too many feels. I am happy, angry and sad at the same time. This book took me on a different path than I thought it would. Not that I minded but I’m just a little “Wait, what’s happening? Noooooo Pamela don’t make that choice”. But by the end I realized there could be no other ending for such an epic journey. I certainly hope this isn’t the last we will see of Pam, Alex and Rylee. Can’t wait to read what else Shannon Mayer has in store for us!
This was Pamela’s coming of age novel. There were hard choices made and of course less fun to be had but that’s adult life for ya. This author always keeps my full attention and i fly through every book of hers. This book was no exception!! My heart dropped a few times but it all turned out in the end. Cannot wait for the next one.
