Someone wants me dead.Worse yet, my link to Spirit is dying. Why? Because Exos has been taken by a new enemy. Now I have to rely on my other elements to find my missing link before it’s too late.Oh, and I need a guard to protect me while I learn how to defend myself. No big deal. Master the elements, find my lost Spirit, and identify the bad guy.Yeah. Easy.Except Titus is tired of playing by the … Easy.
Except Titus is tired of playing by the rules of others.
Vox just wants to be friends.
Sol is pissing everyone off.
And Cyrus, well, he’s a force of nature and very much in charge.
I’d better solve this puzzle quickly before my heart starts making choices on my behalf. Because all these fae are beautiful, cunning, and perfect in their own ways.
But how can I feel complete without my Spirit?
The hunt is on, and whoever is out to hurt me and mine will pay.
Note: This is a medium burn reverse harem paranormal romance, and book two of the Elemental Fae Academy trilogy.

This book is as full of action, suspense and magic. It is fast reading and a page turner. The twists and turns left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. In this book the MC is in search of his link before it is too late as his Spirit is dying and someone is out to get them. The characters are all supportive of each other and bring something to the story that makes it feel as if you are right there. I highly recommend finding out what happens next!
What can I say that I haven’t already said before?
I couldn’t put this down. I swear these series just keep getting better and better. You can see the growth in the writing. The growth in the characters and development. The pace and the worldbuilding never disappoint. I love how everything flows together.
5 Stars
Elemental Fae Academy: Book Two is the second spellbinding instalment in the Elemental Fae Academy Trilogy by Lexi C. Foss and J.R Thorn. I am really loving this series, it has completely captivated me and had me glued to the pages, while I devoured my way through the story just so I could discover what happens next. This book continues the storyline from the first book- and it picks up right where we left off in book one. So, if you haven’t read the first book, I highly recommend that you do- because this is not a standalone and should be read as part of the series. There is important background, storyline, and character information contained in the first book which you will need to know in order to fully appreciate and enjoy this story.
After the way the previous book finished, and the fact that I LOVED it so much- I really had high expectations for this story. So I can’t be more excited, now that I’ve finished it, by what these two talented authors created and the incredible ‘adventure’ they’re taking us on. There is so much going for this book/series. I really am at a loss for words to do it the justice I think it deserves.
As with the first book, this is a wonderful fantasy with a reverse harem/PNR romance. There’s plenty of action, drama, danger, hidden agendas, tension, mystery, politics, powerplays, battles, romance, passion, and so much more. And this story is definitely quite a bit sexier and steamier than the first.
Claire had only begun to wrap her mind around the events which unfolded in the previous book (I know I am being a little vague- but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read the story yet) while also getting a grip on her ‘powers’, when she is flung into another crisis. Someone seems to be targeting her, and is willing to go to any lengths to get to her. When her spirit connection goes missing, Claire is desperate to be reunited with it- and time is running out. If she doesn’t find it, the connection will be severed- permanently. She and her sexy Fae will all need to work together to figure everything out before it’s too late. Easy right-um, not so much?
I absolutely cannot wait for book three!!!! I need it like yesterday!!!! November can’t come quick enough. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Definitely one of my favourite reads for this year!
Thank you, Lexi C. Foss & J.R Thorn!
Wow, this was certainly one messed up story. I mean everything what could have gone wrong, definitely did. Plague is spreading, Claire got attacked in even deeper way, there is a new mystery around each corner. But also her powers do grow stronger, he confidence and fierceness go up a notch, and she starting to learn to control herself and her powers, even learning to embrace her fae side. There was also hot sex included, surprising mating and more fae business than we can count. We got deeper look in world mechanics, plot kept me on the edge of chair and deeper look into some of personages made my heart sing. It was great story, and I definitely need next part out.. like yesterday.
Elemental Fae Academy: Book 2 by Lexi C. Foss and J.R. Thorn is the brilliant second book in an amazing trilogy. You do need to have read the first book in order to fully appreciate this one.
We are taken back into the world that Claire found herself part of in book 1. She has started to embrace her new world when new obstacles are thrown in her way. The authors have down a great job in making it almost feel like you are picking right up from where you left off last time. It was so easy to fall back into Claire’s story.
The Fae are as intriguing and fantasy inducing as they ever were. I loved how they are all different from each other and yet all equally as likeable.
This has been a brilliant series so far as I can’t wait to read book 3!

WHAT HAS REALLY WORKED FOR ME
Addictiveness: 5/5 I’m in love with this series. Really amazing! I’ve read in one sitting, because I couldn’t let go. I can’t wait for the last book! As addictive as chocolate!!!
Character: heroes 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 3/5 Very complex characters with lots of depth. More important characters were added here and all characters have personal growth in this book.
Claire: Her self journey continues in this book and she finds her balance, harmony within her elements. A kickass heroine!
Exos: He shows his inner strength in this one. I love how he is wonderful in guiding Claire with the others. He always knows what they need.
Titus: I love him, and he is still my favorite. I love his passion and how he matures in this one.
Vox: I think he is still mysterious but he is also a great warrior and leader. The way he cares for the group is great.
Earth fae: I don’t want to say names and spoil the fun. I guess, he is my second favorite. I love his tender and sort of childish way.
Water fae: I’m surprised! For me, he was unexpected but I really liked this twist. It made sense for the plot.
Many interesting secondary characters specially the fae council.
The villains… here we already know who they are. I mean, I don’t truly believe that. I think there are more enemies then what we have seen.
These characters are multidimensional, very easy to love, connect and understand.
Cover: art 5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I can be really picky with book covers and I have to say, this one is one of the most beautiful art work I’ve seen. Besides being really pretty, it really tells the story of the book. This girl is definitely Claire. We can see she is wearing a uniform like the academy. Different than the first book, here the magic is controlled and we see new elements like water and the Earth. The colors are superb, the font and placement of the words in the cover are spot on and the title fits the story. I would definitely buy this book by its cover without reading the blurb!!!
Freshness: 5/5 O.M.G This is a one-of-a-kind story. It is unique in which everything feels new and original. Like never I’ve read before. As fresh as a cold bottle of water in the middle of the desert!
Plot: believable 3/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 3.5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5 Amazing opening and a cliffhanger at the end. Of course this plot is not believable, but this is fantasy. The world-built is fantastic, the story has enough subplot to keep the reader intrigue to what will come next. The twists are unexpected and the conflict is very well written. Splendid!!! Highest level of satisfaction!!!
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 The romance just gets better in this one. There are more males, more steamy scenes and with some, the love is already stablished. The smut is elegantly written and it never feels without reason.
Writing Style: 5/5 I don’t even know what to say. The writing is clean, cohere and have no loopholes. The characters are complex, the plot is simply convoluted and the romance is sexy and loving. Inspiring writing!
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
THE END! I know, the cliffhanger here is still better than the first book, but we still got a cliffhanger.
“This was how ultimate power was meant to be controlled-not contained, but sated.”

MY THOUGHTS
This is a MUST read for everybody that enjoys romantic fantasy.
This series has it all. It has great world-built, amazing characters, wonderful plot and steamy romance.
35/35 STARS – 5 STARS (between 33.5 stars and 35 stars)
Addictiveness: 5 Character: 5 Cover: 5 Freshness: 5 Plot: 5 Romance: 5 Writing Style: 5
Action 4/5
Angst 2.5/5
Darkness 0/5
Humor 2/5
Romance 5/5
Suspense/Mystery 4/5
Would I recommend? This is a must for anyone that enjoys romantic fantasy.
Would I re-read this book/series? YES! This has totally become binge worthy!
Would I read more from the author? Can’t wait for more!!!
You MAY read this because you like romantic fantasy; you SHOULD read this because you enjoy reverse harem; you MUST read this because this series is ADDICTIVE!!!
Book 2 didn’t have quite the same pace and frenetic energy of book 1, though that is not a criticism but purely an observation. There was less plot movement in terms of the unknown threat to the Fae world, and Claire in particular, the focus instead being on developing the male characters and their connection with our heroine. There was still plenty of action and story to go with this, but I really enjoyed seeing Vox and Sol come into their own, Cyrus learn that he couldn’t have everything his own way and Claire learn to embrace her Fae half.
To my mind the change in direction was incredibly important. So many RH books fail to build distinct male leads and never come close to convincing the reader of anything more than lust driving the protagonists actions. This took the time to deepen our understanding of three more recent additions to Claire’s harem, Cyrus, Vox and Sol. Each man had his own distinct feel, his own connection to Claire, his own issues to overcome. I really appreciated the fact that I could distinguish each of the men, loved that they had their own pet names for Claire and enjoyed seeing Claire come to terms with loving 5 men.
As we moved through the book pace picked right back up, revealing the answer to some questions whilst adding new ones into the mix. Not only am I on tenterhooks for the final book but I’ve got absolutely NO IDEA of where this fantastic and enthralling story will take us next.
ONE AWESOME ADVENTURE!!!
Wow-za! These guys deliver the heat and magic with all the simmer you can handle. You will not believe how this installment plays out. A tumultuous ride with a bounty surprising events and a bevy of vexing circumstances that thrusts this bad boy together one piece at a time. A vortex of spinning emotions bursting into play front and center. All the drama, uncertainty, danger and suspense builds as tension spirals bringing this bad boy blasting to life beautifully. Throw in distress and turmoil and you have the recipe for disaster. Twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few hitches, bumps and bruises that rock this baby with every word. Following the characters witnessing their personalities transform and blend with depth and qualities that blow this bad boy wide open. The scenes are so vividly detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion you were right there in ground zero with them. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Great second installment of the Elemental Fae Academy series. Kicking off after the events of the first book, someone is gunning for Clair. Not only that, her connection to her element is slowly diminishing and “her boys” aren’t making things any easier.
A fun, action- packed story that excites and grabs your attention. I’m very much looking forward to the next and last installment in the series.
So this starts off right where we left things hanging in the previous book with Exos Kidnapped by persons unknown and a new player his brother Cyrus the reigning king coming into play on the chessboard and almost from the onset Cyrus manages to behave like a complete jackass totally and intentionally rubbing Clare and her new posse up the wrong way.
So everyone here gets there chance to shine and take a hold of the reins regarding the progressing narrative.
Six differing POV’s: it shouldn’t work but it did magnificently and I loved how it enabled us to understand and as a result become closer to each individual character.
Every one of Clares mates brought something she needed to the table and all had there own particular strengths and individual personalities.
All of the elements are now in place even if some mates are still somewhat resistant we are now playing with a full-stack.
We have the missing Exos for Spirit, Cyrus is Water, Titus Fire, Vox is Air and finally, Sol is Earth.
I also really adored how each mate had there own pet-name for claire made it easier to set them apart in my head as well as being super sexy, Also, Cyrus himself did grow on me as he does redeem himself eventually.
The temperature dial most certainly got turned up a notch here and I found myself seriously over-heating at times.
This also didn’t end on a major cliffhanger which was fab more like a reveal though I do want book three like right now as I am really looking forward to the concluding piece of this delicious puzzle.
This one is book two out of three and does need to be read in order.
Highly recommend this series especially if you’re partial to more slow-burn reverse harem this one is really well done.
The authors themselves have done a fantastic job and this series gets my seal of approval.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Elemental Fae Academy: Book Two (Elemental Fae Academy #2).

Oh my word. The web thickens with more and more revelations. Exos is missing and Claire is a wreck. With Cyrus, Titus, Vox, and Sol along for the ride Claire vows to find her spirit mate.
Claire has grown so much in one book. I’m excited and scared for what comes next for her. Cyrus, the little asshole, is yummy. He’s forced to do something he didn’t think would ever happen and when it does? It’s glorious. Vox is fighting his feelings and feeling a bit left out. Claire forces those feelings from his mind though. Titus is protective and sexy as ever. Now my two favorites, Exos and Sol. I can’t wait to find out Sol’s backstory. He intrigued me from the beginning and now I’m even more in love with him. Exos tried his absolute hardest to fight the one who took him. He truly broke my heart with the love he held for Claire.
Once again I was swept away by the writing, I honestly didn’t want the book to end. I’m so excited for the next installment. Some huge shit has gone down and I need MORE!
A continuation of book one, this book has everything! The main character Claire is a solid and fantastic character with lots of layers and I love her and her struggles. The men—with 5 of them its hard to pick one to love the most and I love them all. You get extreme heat, passion and fire in this book and I am totally loving this series.
Steamy. Intrigue. Mystery. Laughs. This book has all of that and so much more. I enjoyed Book 1. Book 2 had me hooked from the start and I couldn’t put it down. Claire is finally starting to embrace her Fae side. She’s learning to control her elements and working with the guys meant to help her. All while trying to find her Spirit Mate, Exos.
I loved getting to meet the guys we’d only had hinted at in Book 1. Cyrus is a bit of a bastage, but he pushes Claire in a way no one else has. Vox is reticent and very intellectual, he doesn’t want to do more than tutor Claire, or so he says. Sol is sweet, and a bit of a gentle giant, but is also a bit damaged. He’s been hurt before and it shows.
Seeing the interactions, the relationships form, and even the twists and turns as things come to light is so much fun. The story had me reading and in its grips from the very start. The imagery the words created definitely gave a few laugh out loud moments, despite the seriousness of things going on. It helped to remind that the characters are trying to find their way, find their balance, and seeking a sense of normalcy despite the chaos surrounding them.
And the ending… Not nearly the cliffhanger of Book 1, but you know that Book 3 is going to be explosive!
Okay, I just have three things to point out.
1) I am in LOVE with this series. The whole Fae thing is really pleasing me and I’m not that big a fan of Fae stories.
2) The world building of this book is mind-blowing, like other world (forgive the pun) mind-blowing.
3) I NEED the third instalment like yesterday.
I could go on and on about how much i am in love with this world, this story and these authors. I won’t because I’d rather get to the point with just a few words. It is amazing!
Don’t just take my word for it; start the series! You won’t regret it. Except maybe the waiting for the third instalment bit but I’ve a feeling it will be well worth the wait.
Fantastic
Book two in this series is literally out of this world, good
Claire has been separated from Exos, and she desperately needs to find him. Cyrus his brother, the King, steps in to help locate him and to corral the others. They pretend as though everything is normal as they don’t know who to trust. Claire finally accepts her destiny and learns a dark truth.
A fantastic story and even though reverse harems are not something I normally read, this book and series is well worth a go and I definitely recommend. I look forward to the conclusion Thanks to Lexi for my advanced copy for which I voluntarily leave my honest review.
I have never wanted to be a character in a book as much as I want to be Claire in this book. I mean, sure, her life is dangerous and she has been thrust into the world of the fae without much understanding of how it works, but she has five (yes, five) hot men protecting her and taking care of her every whim. It’s amazing how the authors have brought these five men to life – all of them with their own quirks, personality flaws, and blazing hotness. I also love the immersion I felt into this new world that Claire is exploring. Grab this one today, and you will not regret it!!!
What happens when fire and water meet? You get steam. So. Much. Steam!
I loved the second book in the EFA series so much that I finished it in under a day.
Claire’s personal growth in this book is phenomenal and her bonds with her mates are burning hot.
This book has it all, romance, steam, mystery, action and twists I definitely never saw coming.
I cannot wait for the third book and to see how it all ends.
Oh, yeah, Sol. Can we have more of Sol, pretty please!?
I received an ARC of Elemental Fae Academy book 2 and let me just start by saying I DEVOURED this book in a single day!
I thought after book one that Exos and Titus were steamy but hot damn Cyrus… sexy, arrogant, loyal Cyrus (swoon)!! I loved the characters development in this book and was even surprised by how much the other elementals won me over (especially Sol!!) by the end.
Unlike book one the ending of book two isn’t a drastic cliffhanger although it does leave you excited for the final chapter of this trilogy. The authors have done a fantastic job weaving a magical world that I couldn’t help but become engrossed in.
