The nerdy girl gets the hunk in this friends to lovers slow burn romance.
Court Here’s a thing I learned a long time ago… guys and girls don’t think about relationships the same way. Especially in college. So, when I caught the girl sitting next to me on the plane reading a magazine article on how to get out of the friend zone, I did something I never do – I got involved. One look into her … got involved.
One look into her electric blue eyes and the darkness inside of me faded.
Light and hope radiated from her like a neon sign.
Guys like me know how to get the girl, but we rarely get to keep them.
Bianca
Girls like me fade into the background. Nice, quiet, smart girls without the latest trendy clothes. My friendship with Court started as an opportunity to get inside the male mind, but it turned into so much more.
His touch sent current coursing through my veins.
His kiss jolted my heart.
But here is something I learned a long time ago… you can’t force people to love you back. No matter how much you long for them.

I enjoyed this book but found it to slow for me. Court meets Bianca on a plane and sees her reading a magazine on “how to get out the friend zone” starts to give her advice on how to catch her man. However, it’s clear from early on he has really fallen in love with her, but doesn’t know how to tell her or make her see that he’s the one for her. Bianca finds herself drawn to Court but can’t admit how she feels to herself, let alone Court. What follows is a series of text messages and meetings during which they become closer. But Court had a very hard childhood and finds it hard to tell Bianca what he went through. When he does finally tell her, Bianca is sympathetic and tries to persuade Court to leave it behind him. But when they both end up at wedding reception of Court’s client and the father of the boy Bianca had been trying to catch, neither of them expect that his past would clash with Bianca’s family and ultimately their future.
I absolutely adored the electricity between Court and Bianca. The love guru that didn’t do relationships meets the innocent heart he never thought he deserved and sparks fly! I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning to finish their story, and don’t regret the next morning’s caffeinated zombie mode one bit!
Court and Bianca meet by chance, on a plane. He is a older guy, traveling for business and she is a college girl who has always faded into the background. Court sees she is reading about how to attract a guy and is compelled to help her. Bianca is attracted to Court but has her sights set on a guy at school. Court has closed himself off from personal relationships but he is compelled to be around Bianca. The friendship that unfolds with the underlying attraction is straight out of the best rom-com movies! It quickly develops into something more, something real. These two lost souls are so perfect for each other in their imperfections. Electric Blue Love is exactly why I read romance! 5 stars for this exceptional romance!
Its always great to pick up a book and read something that really does touch your heart. This story line was great and it was real and it makes you feel like you want to jump into the pages and be involved with whats going on. Your left feeling love, sadness, being mad, laughing and so happy at parts you feel like crying but not because your sad. Great book well worth reading in one sitting.
Bianca was young and innocent. She wanted to find love that was electric . Court was older and sexy and a chance melting. Their relationship progression made their bond stronger. I hated what a court had went through in life and Bianca’s families struggles but their story was beautiful.
Bianca is a beautiful, fun, young girl, who doesn’t realize how beautiful she is. Court is an older, handsome man who knows exactly what he wants, although he doesn’t realize it. As Court gets into his seat on a plane next to Bianca, he notices is reading an article about getting out of the “friend zone”. Court does the unthinkable and offers to help her. Along the lines of Bianca and Court texting and facetiming, they both develop feelings for each other. The chemistry between the both of them is amazing. You can really tell that Court loves Bianca, just by the way he is helping he. Oh, I should maybe add, Court is a little older than Bianca and that makes this story so much better!
This is my first book by Rebecca and definitely will not be my last. Her words were amazing and drew you in!
Electric Blue Love pulled me into the story right from the beginning. How many people have daydreamed about the hot guy sitting next to them on a plane? For Bianca Winters that daydream turned into a reality when Court Adams started chatting with her and decided to become her mentor on how to get past the “friend zone” with a guy. Little did either of know it would turn out so differently. At the surface this book seems to be a straightforward story about a college student and a businessman oddly becoming friends and maybe much more. But as the story progresses we see that it’s much more than that. It’s a story about 2 people, one who never had a family and one who is afraid of losing their family. I’m not a huge fan of the cover. It was not how I saw Court and it made me think he was going to be different than how he was actually written. But as for the story itself, it was fabulously written and I couldn’t help but fall in love with Court and Bianca. Also being a female engineer myself, I love that Bianca is one too! I may or may not have been reading this book during a meeting at work. Yes it was THAT good! This was the first book I read by Rebecca Jenshak and I intend to read more!
