I would give this book 10 stars if I could. Monica Robinson is a genius. I don’t know how she thinks of these amazing stories, but I’m so glad these crazy characters pop into her head! This book will give you a front row seat of Heaven and Hell. You will learn exactly why there are Angels and Devils in life. Everything happens for a reason whether you understand it or not. Your heart will feel every emotion you can imagine. You will learn all about heroes and villains and if there really is a difference between the two. This book will change your outlook on how you perceive people and situations. You will crave things you didn’t know were possible. You will see why you can love a person that you should hate! Monica’s writing gets better with every story she writes, and I didn’t think that was possible. Every Devil needs an angel, and you will be so happy you read this story!

Good read
The characters are well detailed, storyline you think you know but don’t in a good way, you almost don’t want it to end
Keeps you wanting to finish the book all at one setting
Would have never guessed the ending. Great book.
I was hooked from the first page.
An exceptional book; but it was slightly drawn out. It has everything and all types of love – maternal, sibling, first love and the everlasting variety of love. It has suspense, riddles, cruelty, gentleness, lust, greed and all manner of human emotions that you can think of! Very intricately woven. Well done! Page turner.
I liked the book but El Diablo was not redeemed by loving one person. The author did an expert job of leading this reader thru misdirection and clever plot twists to always come to the wrong assumptions. Always on edge, when the other shoe dropped I was flabbergasted. Great book with not so likeable characters but extremely interesting. An excellent example of how parents can influence their children’s lives for the worst. As a Latina, the macho attitudes and family “values” or lack of them rang true. Too bad the devil is so alluring and attractive, but then, he was once an angel.
This was my first book by this author and I was NOT disappointed! I am huge fan of mafia books and I am very picky about books I read. I have heard so much about this author and decided to take a chance. Oh, take a chance and read this book! My heart went out to Alejandro. He did not deserve to grow up so fast. He did not deserve the non-emotional and non-affectionate father. It’s funny because most mafia books I’ve read, family is always top priority but I guess that doesn’t include Alejandro’s dad in compassion and affection. Alejandro’s dad just adds to this page turning unpredictable book. Lexi is this strong independent determined girl. I swear, this girl doesn’t let anything knock her down and keep her down. I must must just tell you straight up, Read this book!!
5 Devilish Stars!
M Robinson has done it again! I’m not even sure where to start with this book, I’m still sitting over here in my book hangover trying to figure it all out. Alejandro Martinez…tall, dark, and deadly…the devil never looked so handsome. Lexi is young, beautiful and a survivor. She’s feisty and not afraid to give Martinez her sassy attitude.
This book starts off with Martinez as a young teenager and learning the life he was born to takeover one day. As he becomes older, things happen leaving him broken and giving him that push into the darkness where he truly becomes El Diablo. I love how this book is told in four parts and we get to see how their relationship comes to light. There were so many times that I wanted to throat punch him because of the crap he was pulling, but then there were the times where he truly showed Lexi just how much he loves and cares for her.
This is a dark, angsty love story in true M Robinson fashion that will bring tears to your eyes and rip your heart out, but at the end she puts it all back together again. There are so many twists and turns that will leave you reeling when it’s all said and done. It is a passionate story that proves true love doesn’t have an age limit and despite his darkness, Lexi can see through all that and see the light shining in him and still love him anyway. Another job well done M and I can’t wait for Mia and Creed’s story.

Martinez is everything you want in a devil and more
As soon as i finished crave me i had to read El Diablo Alejandro was so interesting in that story and i needed to know how it all turned out for the devil.
I wasn’t disappointed at all, this is a long book but i loved every bit of it from when he was young to basically he is an old man. This book Ajax more twists and turns then i could ever imagine and i couldn’t wait to get to the end to see how it all turned out.
Alejandro was such a complex character you didn’t know if you should hate him, punch him or fall in love with him, his actions at certain points were frustrating in a good way you knew there was a reason for it but you had to wait to find out and you knew he would be good but he was bad a really bad guy but you could see it was because he loved so hard.
Lexi was also interesting it felt like all she wanted was for someone to love her and put her back together but it would take years for all that to happen, she goes through hell but picks herself up, she goes through so much and she is a really strong character but she has help even if she didn’t want it at certain points.
As you get invested in this novel you get so frustrated but it’s full of angst and that’s what makes me live this book so much more. As I’ve mentioned the twists and turns for some reason i did not see them coming and i had the whole out loud ahhh moments but this book just tied up so well at the end and in true M Robinson fashion she leaves crumbs to another book and i can’t wait to read that one
Every devil needs an angel,
M.Robinson has quickly become one of my favorite authors, each book surpasses the last and El Diablo just blew me away.
I could never summarise the contents, there’s just so much and I wouldn’t know where to start, confirming that you most definitely get a quality and value for money read.
Told in 4 parts told in each persons pov you are taken on the journey of Alejandro Martinez ‘s life from the young lovable sweet-talking mamas boy, his loves his loss’s his fears, his regrets of his birthright to the man he became, to the day he gave his soul to the devil that was his father and became a man most men feared.
Martinez: The darkness that was all around our family only dragged me further into the abyss.
You are taken on an emotional journey full of angst, from loving the boy Alejandro to at times hating the man Martinez became.
An unpredictable read that sucks you into the darkness one minute and then thrust you back into the light.
Martinez: I lived every day with constant reminders of mistakes and regrets, the things I could never change…
the past, the present, the future, then, now, forever, the relentless torture of love and hate. The distant memory of the boy I was and the ruthless man I’d become.
From beginning to end you will cling to every word trying to get answers to the crime lords actions and just when you think you’ve got it the plot flips and you’re back at the beginning wondering where it’s all going to go.
M.Robinson is brilliant, clever and cunning, El Diablo took my mind my heart and my sanity for a spin.
Plot contents: Gripping,hot,danger,angst,drama,
heartwarming moments, heartache, great characters, unpredictable, great plot, love, lust, hea and definitely recommended.
It was a good quick read.
The excessive use of foul language used was a big deterrent to the reading of the story. Plot ending was the only redeeming thing.
Love it!!
Ordinarily, I would rate this book as bad, but since the name of the book is, El Diablo, I really have to say, it’s not a book for the faint at heart. The lead character definitely fits the name, someone that should be hated, but at the same time, I empathize with him. He is one bad, bad guy, and the gal that is head over heels for him has got to have a mental problem putting up with the way he treats her. But hey, I happen to know a lot of women love them bad boys, lol. If you read this book, you better be one tough cookie.
This book is hot! So many twist and turns. M. Robinson is now one of my favorite authors. I’m currently reading other books which interact with these characters and I have to saw , I’m hooked. There’s sex, violence, more sexually, love, and sis I say sex? I’m reading a 4th book and I’m hooked. The men are cold, the women are strong and the stories are not to be forgotten. I’ve cried and I’ve screamed. Dayum!
OMG my new favorite, a must read, you can’t put it down. I am still reeling from this book
Really enjoyed this one
