WHAT IF THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE TURNED INTO YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE?
When nineteen-year-old Naomi Stone is snatched from her husband at knifepoint on the night of their wedding and taken to a deserted cemetery, she knows her life is finished. Drugged and disorientated, she loses consciousness as she lies in an open grave with a gun to her head. But the following day, she mysteriously awakes to … awakes to find herself unharmed and secured to a bed. She’s in a beautiful bedroom in a secluded cottage in open countryside. Only one person knows she’s there – the man in the balaclava who’s holding her, feeding her, revealing nothing. Naomi senses the unfolding of a plan. She should be on honeymoon in the Caribbean. Instead, she’s trapped with an emotionless psycho with no hope of escape . . . And his voice is chillingly familiar.
Who is he? What does he want? What’s happened to her husband? Where is she? Will anyone find her before it’s too late?

I really enjoyed this story! Unpredictable & very well written!
The wonderful boyfriend and lightning fast romance that seems too good to be true turns out to be too good to be true. You root for this heroine through it all.
It was pretty easy to see where it was going. I did not buy the sequel.
Made me want to read more by this author. Currently reading #3 and final book of the series.
Loved this book and the two that followed. It keeps you guessing and going “What” until the end. Highly recommend all 3 books in this series.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel. It had unexpected events with the main characters. About the time I thought I had it figured out, it completely changed. It was a page turner, I wanted to keep reading to see how it was going to end. However, I didn’t want to finish it as I found it so intriguing. I also was pleased that this writing was clean & didn’t use the profanity that is so common now by authors.
This book starts out as a pleasant enough romance story, but then something happens that turns it into an action/suspense story that keeps you guessing! Exciting to read, well written, good characters!
I read the first and second books but they had so many repetitive thoughts by Naomi and she is pretty whiney. A good premise but I prefer stronger female leads.
O.K. read – not the best, definitely not the worst…
Could not get into it.
It’s been awhile since I found a book I couldn’t put down. Just when you think you know what’s happening and you kind of guessed how this will end, boom! You get completely thrown off guard. You realize that what you thought would happen is the furthest from truth. Nothing is as it seems. You will be drawn into this totally unpredictable, twisted, entertaining book. This is a great read. Promise!
This was an okay read. Nothing special. Seemed to drag in places. Not sure what having a twin has to do with anything that happens in the book. Annabelle is just an extra with no impact on the story.
Naomi is typical poor-little me victim. Have to wonder why she didn’t notice that the man in her life was just a little to good to be true.
Won’t be reading anymore by this author.
Slow starting, picked up now cely
I thought I had this one figured out several times…..I didn’t! Worth the read!
Really kept me engaged in the storyline. Had to buy the next 2 books and I’m on the 2nd one now. Don’t want it to end as it is that good. I will be looking at other books by this author most definitely.
Enjoyed this book very much/ would recommend.
Interesting premise. Liked the character development and the way the lead character went from victim to avenger.
I’m glad I read this, it had some surprises so I was entertained. Some sections were awkard but the story line made up for it. I would recommend this book.
I really liked it. I’m a big fan of British authors. I read it quickly and purshased the two sequels.
I enjoyed this book. It kept my interest all the way through
