WHAT IF THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE TURNED INTO YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE?
When nineteen-year-old Naomi Stone is snatched from her husband at knifepoint on the night of their wedding and taken to a deserted cemetery, she knows her life is finished. Drugged and disorientated, she loses consciousness as she lies in an open grave with a gun to her head. But the following day, she mysteriously awakes to … awakes to find herself unharmed and secured to a bed. She’s in a beautiful bedroom in a secluded cottage in open countryside. Only one person knows she’s there – the man in the balaclava who’s holding her, feeding her, revealing nothing. Naomi senses the unfolding of a plan. She should be on honeymoon in the Caribbean. Instead, she’s trapped with an emotionless psycho with no hope of escape . . . And his voice is chillingly familiar.
Who is he? What does he want? What’s happened to her husband? Where is she? Will anyone find her before it’s too late?

This one was a surprise. Loved the twist the plot took. Ordered the second one as soon as I finished the first.
I enjoyed this book so much that I insured my wife read it right after I did. The way in which the characters are introduced and interwoven together not forgetting the amazing twists and turns to the plot, keeps the reader glued to the book as they try to anticipate what will happen next. Don’t expect to begin this book and be able to read a small part of it each day. It will keep you guessing till the very end. Can’t wait to read another of Tori’s books.
Fantastic book. Kept me turning the pages. I loved the characters and the unexpected twists and turns. I loved the ending!
good read!
This book is phenomenal! I was so hooked to the point where I had to reread a plot twist several times because I couldn’t fathom what had happened. Definitely has a lot of ‘wtf’ moments but they’re good ‘wtf’ moments that make you want to finish the book as soon as possible. The story kind of reminds me of the Netflix show, You, but from the female point of view and a bit more twisted.
I figured out the plot early on. Original story line, but not enough substance to the book.
I loved this book. Can’t wait to get the next one.
The characters were true to their profiles and never stepped out of character except to accent the plot. The plot was complicated and although the twist was revealed about half way through, the solution to the dilemma kept the pages turning. All threads were neatly tied together into a satisfying ending. Lots of psychology and manipulation, both family and stranger. Characters are likable and believable. Writing is clear and never leaves you confused as to who is speaking or what is happening. Nice read.
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. It starts out a little slow, but gets really good. For the last third of the book I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it.
This book was gripping. A real page turner. The plot was twisted and not obvious.
Hard to put down once you open the page.
Enjoyed it. Sometimes it was hard to tell time line, jumped around from time to time and was not clearly marked
Great plot. Enjoyed this book thoroughly!
This book kept me guessing. It had an interesting twist. It reminded me of Gone Girl.
Started out slow, but settled in to a great read with an outstanding ending.
What a diabolical story line! I couldn’t find a place to stop for a coffee!
I enjoyed this book and am sad the rest of the series is not offered at this time. By the time it is, I will no longer be interested to continue to read it.
Great book. Reading 3rd in series now
It kept my interest and had a good twist to it surprising ending.
Never expected the turning of events. Hard to put down
