What a fantastic series. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single book and even though you think you know what is happening and who did it, you might just be wrong. A definite must read from book 1 to this one.
The shocks just keep coming!
As this series comes to an end, I thought I had figured out who the killer was until the author threw a surprise into the story that just shocks you! This story has so many twists and turns and the bodies of women in the woods that you are always wondering. Now you get to find out if everyone gets a HEA? What a great conclusion to this series. I had figured out part of the conclusion several books back but the other part came as a surprise.
Suede finally gets to meet her father and he finally steps up and helps her in a way she really needed.
I must say the only part I wasn’t sure about was Suede and Nate. I didn’t really like Nate towards the end and I can’t decide if I like how their relationship ends.
It was nice to see the conclusion of all the parts.
Definitely recommend this book to those who like a good Who dunit.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review
This series was a great ride. The conclusion will not disappoint you. A paternity test reported incorrectly by the medical examinator. More bodies found and danger for Suade. Another page turner in the final episode in this series.
A wonderful conclusion to this murder mystery series. This whole series captured my attention and wouldn’t let it go. I highly recommend if you like murder mystery stories.
I really thought I had it all figured out
Suede, our resident criminology student, is having a hard time dealing with the fallout from the case to date. As the story progresses a new pattern emerges, hope is dangled, and once it all shakes out everyone is left surprised. W.L. Knightly’s Effecting the End left me cursing the author for the unexpected twists. I really thought I had it all figured out, but no there had to be that last curveball to throw me off. Well done on keeping the reader hanging on until the end, I can’t wait to see where the author goes next.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Honestly, the ending wasn’t the one I expected and I definitely didn’t see it coming. The authors managed to surprise me with new twist and turns at the very end!
This book was great conclusion to this series. It was engaging as always and kept me glued to my reader. I can’t wait to read more from this amazing duo!
I received an advanced copy of this book from author and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This book sucked me in and held me in its thrall until the very end. And without getting spoiler-y, that’s about as much as I can say. There were big parts of that conclusion that I didn’t see coming at all. But there still a part of me that’s irrationally frustrated that it took these characters so long to see, and act on, the things I was picking up from the beginning. Maybe that’s the nature of small towns though; everybody knows each other’s dirty laundry and the code of silence ensures no one’s sins are exposed.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the authors.
This is the final book in The Capsule Killer and what an ending. This has danger, secrets, suspense and so much more. Suede and Nate are still trying to make their relationship work but with his new partner in the picture it’s a struggle. The storyline kept me riveted trying to figure out what would happen next and the characters were intriguing. I would definitely recommend this suspenseful series. Intense end
Spoiler book 5
Excellent end, full of twists and turns, with the end of this gloomy investigation, even if since volume 5 we know who voluntarily placed certain clues and corpses to help Suede. I was a little disappointed with the evolution of one of the characters, but in the end, this ending is just as surprising.
Riley has been arrested, but at least he is protected from his brother, and it could possibly even clear him of the killer’s murders, although his role in what happened on their property is still quite murky. Suede is surprised but inherited the property of Maggie, the owner of the newspaper, which she also inherits.
I really liked this last part, very intense, surprising, with characters whose relationships change or evolve in an unpredictable way over the discoveries, compared to what I expected

Fitting conclusion to the series, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading and recommend that you try this series if you like a murder mystery. There are many twists and turns some you’ll see before they hit you whilst others will leave you in damage control.
Nate is left standing on the sideline because Suede is ignoring him. He wants to work things out now that Toni is gone and he’s been given the go ahead by his commander. Unfortunately he has a protocol to adhere to and Suede tends to be compulsive. Suede never gives up on Riley and stops at nothing, trying to uncover the truth. However, everything comes at a cost and on one hand she had some peace the other felt like holding the weight of the world. Time heals all wounds they say, let’s hope so.
