Jack Reacher finds trouble in Texas in the fifth novel in Lee Child’s New York Times bestselling series. Thumbing across the scorched Texas desert, Jack Reacher has nowhere to go and all the time in the world to get there. Cruising the same stretch of two-lane blacktop is Carmen Greer. For Reacher, the lift comes with a hitch. Carmen’s got a wild story to tell—all about her husband, her family … about her husband, her family secrets, and a hometown that’s purely gothic. She’s also got a plan. Reacher’s part of it. And before the sun sets, this ride could cost them both their lives.

Fast paced, well written, great entertainment.
All Reacher books are fast reads entertaining and action packed.
this was the first Reacher novel i read & i have now read almost all of them, so i must really like them.
it’s long, so hang in there.
Not the most riveting Reacher book, but it did keep me turning pages. I like the character, just wish his human, inner self was revealed more than it is.
I thought I’d read all of Lee Child, but found this one. It was one of my favorite. I loved the characters and the plot was, as always, unique.
The “Jack Reacher” series are always one of my favorites and, this one is no exception. If you like mystery thrillers then, this one is for you.
Love Jack Reacher
Not disappointed by this Jack Reacher story.
Typical well written Jack Reacher book by Lee Child.
Good but events such as the shoot out were way too detailed and therefor way too long.
As always a good read.
Another awesome Lee Child tale! Reacher rocks!
Excellent read…very entertaining. HIghly recommend!
It’s Jack Reacher.
Every Reacher book is great. I think I have read them all to date.
I love the Jack Reacher novels. This is the one where he picks up a female hitch hiker and naturally lands himself in a world of trouble involving her inlaws and husband.
I’ve learned not to expect too much from a Jack Reacher book — some almost-witty banter, a lot of menacing foreshadowing and a lot of action. But Echo Burning is a real lame duck. Plenty of banter, lots of menace . . . and a bit of action. Good for sleep, not for the beach.
Good read with plenty of twists and turns. Good ending and typical Jack Reacher style and thinking.
Lee Child…..Say no more!!!!
True Lee Child writing — will not let you down Another great book in the Jack Reacher series
