JackIn my perfect world it would always be winter and never Christmas.I despise the holiday. I hate carols, shopping, and pretending to be a perfect family. I walked away from my family, or rather they walked away from me.My heart is like ice—See it creeping up the walls.Oh, wait, no, that’s royal icing. I never should have allowed The Great Christmas Bake-Off to film in my tower. And I never, … up the walls.
Oh, wait, no, that’s royal icing.
I never should have allowed The Great Christmas Bake-Off to film in my tower.
And I never, ever, should have agreed to be a judge.
Chloe
I love Christmas! I love sparkly window decorations, heartwarming holiday movies, and themed coffee.
Most of all I love Christmas baking.
Even though his company is sponsoring the bake-off show, billionaire Jack Frost claims he hates sweets.
But after he tastes my goods I know he’ll come begging for more.
And wouldn’t you know it, that night Jack Frost asked me to come up to his penthouse and give him a special taste of my Christmas cookies.
Against my better judgement I went…
I baked him my signature gingerbread cookies and of course he ate them up!
It should have been a Christmas miracle, but Jack Frost couldn’t have come into my life at a worse time.
Not only am I broke, but this was my first Christmas after my oma died.
Someone is trying to sabotage me in The Great Christmas Bake-Off.
I’m being stalked by a mall Santa.
Sleeping with one of the judges is a disaster waiting to happen. I needed Jack and his washboard abs about as much as I needed that third sticky bun.
But when he says in his deep, sexy voice, “Can you make me some more cookies?” well stick a candy cane in me I’m done.
Eating Her Christmas Cookies is a standalone holiday novel. This full-length, steamy romance novel has no cliffhangers but does have a very happily ever after!

Until next time… Happy Reading!
I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. I’m not big on reality tv and there were many things that I found odd about how the production was done. Given that I’m not in the baking or entertainment industry there was an abundance of descriptions about the set, the decorating, and of course the cooking that was completely over my head. That left me with a bit of confusion and a desire to start to skim so that I would be comfortable. I didn’t though! The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Hartleigh was certifiable and I think I’m still in shock that they allowed her on the show or around Jack in the first place. I loved how Chloe tried to do something nice for Jack even though the first time it blew up in her face. Jack and Chloe were great together. I liked how their story ended. I would have liked an epilogue further out, but that’s just because I’m greedy. I recommend reading this book. Listening to it is also a great option. The narrators did a wonderful job and kept me engaged even when I struggled with things I didn’t understand. I recommend listening to this book!
Alina Jacobs is one of my favorite romance writers and this book keeps her in that category. It took me a while to read the story because I got so caught up in her description of everything, from the town, the characters to the characters “activities.” On more than one occasion I found myself comparing Morticia to Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family. I want to say Poor Jonathan, but it is more like Hot Jonathan! It is good to see him grow during the story. These two people are a perfect example of opposites attract and that family is what you make it.

This is a quick funny Christmas story. The story is an easy going, enjoyable, and sweet escape. You’ll enjoy Chloe and Jack’s characters and their love story.
Excellent book, funny & witty characters, it also has a bit of drama but not as the books form the Holbrooke brothers (which have soooo many problems and were good Dramas). I usually do not like bakers and characters, nor reality show books because there are too many of them but in this case it has a different twist. I liked how the characters behaved and got interested in the other characters, so I will continue reading books from this author. Congratulations Alina, nice job!
Chloe is a baker and broke after her druggie cousin stole her life savings for drugs. She enters the Great Christmas Bake-Off as she needs the money to pay off her debts. Jack Frost, a gorgeous billionaire, is one of the three judges. Sparks fly. A tower. Awful parents. A stalker. Oops, make that two stalkers. And too many Santas to keep track of. Fantastic story and I absolutely loved it to bits. And I just love this author to bits too.
When this book first came out, I let some negative reviews steer me away from reading it. Now that I’ve read it and enjoyed it for myself, I’m seriously regretting my original decision to pass on it. Chloe and Jack are absolutely hilarious together. They tried to fight their attraction to one another, but not very hard and the situations they land themselves in could only happen to this pair. Jack’s family life has shown him it’s better to have no feelings at all than to be hurt by them and at this point he has no use for the whole Christmas season. Chloe’s a regular Sugar Plum Fairy. Everything about her is ‘sugar and spice and everything nice’. And Christmas is her very favorite time of year. Watching this pair of opposites find common ground had me laughing through the whole book – with a spit-take or two along the way. I love seeing all the sibling connections in this story and I’m seriously looking forward to reading more about the Frosts.
I read a borrowed copy of this book.
This was a kindle unlimited recommendation, and it was perfect for a Christmas romance! A bit steamy with a zip of suspense! It was cute!
The details in the descriptions of Christmas pastries and cookies and treats are phenomenal. This is a great story with real problems. I really enjoyed it and couldnt put it down. I love the way the author gives descriptions of events so that its as though i am right there the whole time. Super hot.

Chloe is entering a cooking show to compete so she can replenish money her cousin stole from her for his drug addiction. She desperately needs the money. Jack Frost is trying to save his building so he is hosting a cooking reality show. He doesn’t like desserts but he is one of the judges. Unfortunately one of the contestants is an old family friend who thinks they are in love. His parents are trying to get him to marry Hartleigh who is crazy stalking him. Jack wants nothing to do with her. Chloe captures his interest but as he doesn’t like sweets, she tries to make him cookies that he will love. I laughed so hard when he tried to make the same cookies. This book had stalking Santas (going after Chloe) and some drunk Santas, stalking old family friend (Hartleigh), cooking competitions and a sweet, yet hot romance. Such an enjoyable book!! Will definitely read other books from this author.

WOW, now fabulous, fantastic, the true Christmas spirit, romantic, great villains, great families and drama to go with them all – or just a few. This is a rather long story and I was quite certain before hand that it would be drawn out as so many stories tend to be when this long, but no sireee, it was just absolutely fantastic. This author is clearly jumping on my best author list in the top five!!!! Now I can´t wait for her next story! This one was so full of joie de vivre and all the other small knick knacks of simply a great story. It had so much of humour in it and not always the see through type, it had some deeper humour as well – it is simply just really really really – really good.

Christmas hash with sugar on top
Think of every stereotypical, saccharine, silly Hallmark Christmas romance movie you’ve ever seen. This book is like that. The billionaire Grinch whose name is Jack Frost. The wacko stalker who thinks she’s gonna marry Frost and the wacko parents of said Frost who are even more delusional than Wife-wanna-be. The cutie, plucky, Instagram-addicted baker, Chloe, who just (“Squeeee!”) loves Christmas. The Scroogey big bad brothers on the Board who are gonna foreclose on the billionaire’s bad business venture, until Chloe cutes it all up, posts it on Instagram ,and turns everybody’s humbug into big smiles and big $$$. This is, apparently, the recipe for true love – at least in Jack Frost’s icicle eyes. Thew plot is a bit complicated, and more than a bit silly. It’s all surface; Disney does Christmas Kardashian-style, follow it on Twitter. Fifteen minutes after I finished it I’d already forgotten much of the story. A well written story with nice storyline and plot. I like it is written in dual POV because that gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and that brings it closer to the reader. Likeable characters who are well described and develops nicely through the story. A story that flows well of the pages. Two characters that are opposite of each other when it comes to christmas. But they both have a past with a lot of pain and hurt which they have to get through to have their HEA.
A story that is a mix of family issues, stalking, secrets, drama, danger, action, emotions, steamy scenes and twists. It is written with a scent of humour and that gives it a bit more. It is captivating and absolutely a story I will recommend to others.
Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

A fantastic brilliantly written and amazing Christmas romance. The storyline is witty, funny, and emotionally deep, with characters that are loveable and deep. A fast-pace page turner that is action-packed with twists and turns, ups and downs, and unexpected circumstances. Incredibly descriptive scenes – especially the baking scenes – made me feel like I was actually there smelling the baked goods. A really engaging read that will grip you from beginning to end.

A humorous, festive and magical well written romance. This suspensful drama mystery has twists and turns, unpredictable surprises, crazy stalkers, with ups and downs that kept me on the edge of my seat. This engaging fun storyline has Chloe a contastant in a bake off needing to win the money for the prize to replace what her cousin stole so she can open her own bakery all while determined to change Jack’s mind, a judge who hates christmas, with her baking. Its so full of drama and crazy scenerios, along with chemistry, passion and steam that the tension had me glued till the last page was turned.

It is very well written.
The scenes are very descriptive and lifelike.
The two main characters appear to be total opposites. Their interactions are engaging and fun.
