Love the characters
Got this because of a review. Read it straight through & promptly bought the next book in the series. 5 days later I am starting the 4th book.
Buy it.
Left me wanting more
Loved it. Similar to Janet Evanovich.
Kind of an unlikely premise but entertaining. I found myself cringing with some of the scenarios.
Interesting career choice. Looking forward to see what happens in the next book.
Interesting concept. Tasters.
interesting concept – thought it was going to be far fetched, but it was handled in a way that made it believable. Liked the interaction between the two main characters
Interesting premise – special ability / unusual job. Characters were fun. Actually laughed out loud several times.
Most original idea in years. Got my attention quickly and held it. Not easy to do now a days.
There are some books that manage to pull me in from the first word. Then there are others that make me wonder if the author was intentionally tring to make me gouge out my eyes.
This book just happens to be the former.
It is well-written, full of intrigue and developed characters, and is able to make me interested in Connor and Isobel’s budding feelings without making me feel like it is a brick being constantly smashed into my face. There is no mind-numbing repeated stating of emotions and thoughts. The story continues after each statement and doesn’t continuously come full circle.
Kudos to Ms. Chelsea Field for being able to capture me so thoroughly in the actual mystery and leaving me waiting with baited breath for the next piece of action. I am genuinely pleased with this story and intend to get the next book as soon as I can.
