From New York Times Bestselling author Kristen Proby comes a series set in the intriguing and sexy city of New Orleans, Louisiana. A powerful family, each sibling successful and ready for love!Eli Boudreaux’s family has built ships and boats in Louisiana for generations. At thirty, he is the youngest CEO to ever head Bayou Enterprises, co-chairing with his eldest brother. His head for business … business and his no-nonsense work ethic is also quickly making him the best the company has seen in generations.
Kate O’Shaughnessy is hired by companies all over the world to slip inside and investigate every member of the organization from the CEO down to the custodial staff to find the person or persons responsible for embezzling. She’s smart, quick-witted, and she’s now been hired by Bayou Enterprises, specifically Eli Boudreaux. The attraction is immediate and the chemistry is off the charts, but Kate has heard all about Eli’s playboy past and she has a job to do. Sleeping with the boss isn’t a part of that job, even if just the sound of her name rolling off that Cajun tongue and the way he fills out a designer suit does make her sweat.
Eli’s southern charms surprise Kate. The man whose reputation labels him as a ruthless, callous womanizer is not the man she’s coming to know intimately. He’s generous, protective and makes her smile. Cracking through Kate’s cool, reserved demeanor and discovering her love of sexy, expensive lingerie is a challenge Eli can’t resist, but her sweet nature, love of family and sense of humor pull at him in ways no one else ever has.
But when the person responsible for trying to single-handedly dismantle Eli’s empire comes to light, and it’s time for Kate to move on, to what lengths will Eli go to keep the woman he’s fallen in love with by his side?

The character Katy was written very well, as a strong woman. Really enjoyed the book because it had a good storyline.
Good story line and great cast of characters. I really enjoyed this book and the way this author writes. She holds your interest from the beginning to the end.
I want to start by saying that I have never been to New Orleans. So as Ms. Proby is giving you a visual of where these characters are at, you feel as if you are actually there. That is just how involve this book makes you feel.
With that being said, I love that this new series has the author’s signature. Humor, romance, alpha/possessiveness, sass, and sexy scenes that make you wish your kindle was waterproof. Easy Love broke the ground to what I can see is going to be another series that will stick with you. There’s fictional realism with the story line as well as the characters.
So what sets this story apart from her With Me in Seattle? The characters in the Boudreaux are more intense, soulful and deeper. I’m already anticipating the next book and have made mental connections for what I am hoping are upcoming books. This is a must read!
“You don’t just cross my mind once in a while, you live in it.”
Loved the characters, storyline, friendships, struggles, strength, loyalty, steaminess….
These characters thought they wanted the same things…then they started learning more about themselves and each other…what happens when you are confronted with a fork in the road…do you stay the path or midtown to your gut?
Hoping other characters I feel in love with get their story told as well! Looking forward to Easy Charm!
I needed an escape and Kate and Eli’s story was the perfect one! I can’t believe I haven’t read this series yet, but now I’m on to the next story. Romantic, steamy, and fun! Highly recommend.
Wonderful story! Great characters! Loved it! Can’t wait to read more of this series!
A great book. Keeps you interested .
Enjoyable read!
Oh what a way to start off a series and I need all the Boudreaux sibling stories!
I love me a filthy gentleman that loves his mama. Eli was just that. He was a gentleman in the streets but a dirty man behind closed doors. The scenes with him and his mama straight warmed me to my core. The steamy scenes with him and Kate one word: haaawt. Kate didn’t stand a chance of not falling for him and neither did I because the man was just yummy! My first book by Kristen Proby and I am already 100% invested in the remaining stories of the series and eager to check out what else is in her catalogue!
I didn’t think Kristen Proby could top the With Me in Seattle Series, I was wrong. Kristen Proby just keeps getting better and better. Easy Love, first in the Boudreaux Series, was awesome. The characters were not over the top, they were real. I was given characters to love, to hate, to despise, to crush on, to cheer on and to cry over. I was able to picture New Orleans thanks to her detailed descriptions. I want to go to New Orleans. Eli Boudreaux is CEO of Boudreaux industries. He needs the assistance of a special person to solve a corporate problem. Kate, goes from job to job, avoiding relationships and solving problems. The story follows the same theme as many others. The roller coaster relationship had me laughing, crying and cheering The side stories and histories of the characters had me hooked, not only with the story but the family and friends of Eli. luckily I don’t have to wait long.
I listened to the audiobook for this title. I love Sebastian York. Seriously. That man can read aloud sexy books like nobody’s business. However, this book wasn’t right for him. It was set in New Orleans, and Sebastian doesn’t “do” accents. Which is totally fine because I don’t do them either. The story was okay and the sexytimez were sexy. It was a solid 3 star book.
Wonderful
This was a great story. I think that with true friends & loving family things can happen. Eli, Beau & Savannah run the family boat & shipping manufacturing company together but they have a thief in their mist. Van has a friend, Kate, that goes undercover and finds out what it who is the thief, that it what she does. She has finally divorced from her abusive husband and doing well. But she changes the elusive no relationship Eli on his ear.
So good! This one has left me with the feeling this series is going to be spectacular! It centers around the Boudreaux family and this one is about Eli and Kate. Eli runs the family business and Kate is brought in to find out who is stealing money. Even though they try to stay away from each other the chemistry cannot be denied and though there is an end date to their tryst that cannot stop them. Great start to this series!
First I have to say I read some of the reviews beforehand but still took a chance. I was not disappointed, therefore don’t pay attention to the bad reviews. We all have our own opinions and I respect that. So, here’s my opinion… I enjoyed this book. The story was intriguing, the characters are fantastic, and it flowed perfectly. Eli and Kate have instant chemistry, the banter, and sweetness between them is beautiful. Everything was not perfect but the journey was absolutely enjoyable to go on with them.
I loved this book. Eli had me hot and bothered from the very start. Yummy. I will take one of him. Thank you for the wonderful story. I love it.
A sexy Cajun CEO who has his way with the ladies, Eli has no answer for his feelings toward Kate when his family hires her to find out who is steal money from the company. Easy Love is not about easy love but more about how the two are able to find the easy companionship that makes a good relationship. Be ready for allot of descriptive sex scenes among a enjoyable, fast moving story taking place in the bayous of Louisiana.
3.5 stars
Oh man, this scratched an itch I didn’t know needed scratching! It was loving, steamy, and entertaining. The characters had great voices – so important with first-person PoV – and the setting was well-described. I enjoyed seeing the bits and pieces of New Orleans that were sprinkled among the action.
The reason I didn’t give this more stars is because I wanted more depth out of it. It started off with a great premise: the Boudreaux family need Kate to investigate and find out who is stealing from their company. Once she arrived, though, we didn’t hear about that again until about 50% of the book had passed. I wanted more of that arc to be present instead of the deus ex machina it was. I felt the same way about some of the character histories, too. It was missing the gravitas events like that would lend to a person’s personality and interactions. I felt like it was always hinted at but never fully explored.
I get it. This is a feel-good romance. But it would have felt even better to have seen characters overcome their pasts instead of breezing over it. I still really liked it and would consider reading the rest of the series!
Wonderful!
I know one thing I loved it but I’m going to have to write about it right after I read these books. I’ve read so many.
Totally relatable story. You felt like you were part of their family and the events that were happening.
