When pretty, smart Sara Long is found bludgeoned to death, it’s easy to blame the man with the bat. But Georgia Davis — former cop and newly-minted PI — is hired to look into the incident at the behest of the accused’s sister, and what she finds hints at a much different, much darker answer. It seems the privileged, preppy schoolgirls on Chicago’s North Shore have learned just how much their … innocence is worth to hot-under-the-collar businessmen. But while these girls can pay for Prada pricetags, they don’t realize that their new business venture may end up costing them more than they can afford.

This book keeps you guessing as to what is going on. As soon as I would think I had it figured out, things would change right before my eyes. It was a great book and keeps you involved.
This book is very intense, but it is a fantastic book! It really gives you a perspective on condemning people for the wrong reasons. Georgia Davis is a wonderful and persistent private investigator. I’m really looking forward to checking out the rest of the series!
Easy Innocence The Georgia Davis PI Series, Book 1 So many books, I re-read this book in less than a day! It is that good! I was given a book by the author, not this book, and after I discovered there was a prequel to the series I decided to read it first. I’m glad I did. This book slides right in. I’m a character reader, I get into the …
This review is for the audio book.
I really enjoyed this book, there is so much going on it keeps you hooked until the end. I will definitely be looking in to getingt the rest in the series, as I really liked it. I liked the main character and think she is a good strong character, kind, caring, tough when needed and intelligent. She actually …
Big money and high crimes…that is the game here. How much would one need to pay to make something go away? What about to just look the other way? Hellmann has a compelling novel, one that will reel readers into the first installment and have them longing to jump into the next one by the end of it.
Georgia Davis, a former police officer suspended …
Another good book by this very talented author.
it was a good easy read
As usual, Libby’s characters are totally devoid of any character. You get no feeling of the type of people that any of her characters are. She needs to make her characters real rather than faceless people who just happened to wander into her stories. She has ok plots, just can’t build either a loveable or despicable character, who is easily …
Great story. Liked the main character tremendously. Well put together.
This book was suspenseful and kept my interest. Some things were expected but ended up having a lot of surprises. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Had a good twist on the ending. Also brought light to a modern social malfunction.
Do not even start reading this book! You will not want to stop. It is addictive, should be declared a controlled substance. Fortunately, I did not have anything important to do the day I started reading it. I did not stop until I was finished; read it all in one day.
Opens your eyes to a world that may be closer than you think…
I really enjoyed trying to figure out the plot twists. will definitely read more from this author.
Scary good.
Very highly recommended. When a beautiful high school junior dies in the woods, was it a hazing gone wrong or something much, much worse? A mentally challenged sex offender is arrested for the crime and Georgia Davis, an ex-Chicago cop now working as a PI, is hired by his sister to dig into the case. What Georgia uncovers is almost …
Good mystery. Grabs and keeps your intention.
If I had the time – I would not have put it down!
Would like to read more.
This was an easy read, moved quickly, and kept me interested. There were some plot twists and showed characters in a new light, so that some were not so good but not so bad, either. If you’re looking for a fun read, I recommend this book.
