If she’d known the sexy, dirty-talking playboy behind the bar in New Orleans was a single dad, would she still have spent that weekend burning up the sheets with him?Very likely.A girl can’t be expected to resist the take-your-panties-off trifecta— jazz, bourbon, and naughty words said in a southern drawl. Not even a single mom with a ton of priorities that extend beyond the bedroom. But if she’d … bedroom.
But if she’d known just how dirty he’d play when he decided this could be the real thing, she never would have come back for a second weekend.
Probably.
This is a novella and is a prequel to book one of the series, Going Down Easy. Lots of steamy fun set in New Orleans! If you don’t like hot, dirty-talking bartenders, open door sexy times (okay, and on-a-balcony sexy times), or beignets and jazz, this is not the book for you. If you do like all of those things…you definitely need to be meet Gabe Trahan!

I love NOLA, it’s been too long since I visited and so I’m going there via Boys of the Big Easy. So much fun! And I will never think of beignets the same way again…..Or powdered sugar. This is the beginning of Gabe and Addison’s story. It’s short, sweet, steamy, and a whole lotta fun.
Gabe and Addison’s were hot and intense. They spent a hot and intense weekend together. They have great chemistry. Great intro to Boys of The Big Easy.
Super quick novella that explains how Gabe and Addison get things started which for the record is down right steamy.
This is the story of how Gabe and Addison meet. Gabe owns a bar, that has been in his family for years. Addison comes to New Orleans for a weekend and decides to throw caution in the wind. What was supposed to be one weekend may just lead into more.
Short, sweet and totally hot. A sexy, bartender and beautiful woman and beignets.

Smoken hot

It seems I haven’t started enough sagas already, so I wanted to add one more to see the following books yelling at me for not paying them enough attention. I can’t help myself, though. Goodreads is for me like a candy shop for a kid (although I also share that feeling…). This short story was free on Amazon, so it was perfect as a starting point. Too bad the story itself is rather forgettable.
Here we meet Gabe, the über sexy male specimen who is the owner and bertender of a popular bar in New Orlenas. On the other hand we have Addison, a businesswoman from New York, who is visiting a mutual friend in New Orleans. Gabe has been dreaming about her since some accidental texting between the two of them and now she in his bar…
I now the word easy is right over there in the pretty title. but I was not expecting that adjective to be so notorious in such a short story. Just a couple of words between them and everything is rolling. If that were all of it, then I wouldn’t have any issue. But this is supposed to be the prologue for the next book where the relationship between Gabe and Addsion should develop. But… is there really anything else to tell? They have already met, they have already flirted, they have already have sex and they have already missed each other savagely. That is usually the end. I thought the following book would have a bit of drama due to Gabe being a single parent and maybe Addison wasn’t OK with it. But she is also a single parent, so I can’t see how any real drama can develop from that situation.
This story is too much for such little room, but that is not the main problem of it. I need to talk about the huge elpehant in the room that every single one in the bar ignores and it’s pretty insulting. I’m talking about the mutual friend of Gabe and Addison: Elena. She is also friends with Logan (Gabe’s brother) and a couple of firefighters that are usual customers. All of them are at the bar the night Gabe and Addison meet each other. And all of them take part in a pretty rude and childish game that a so-called friend doesn’t deserve. All of them treat Elena as if she were an idiot, treating her like the kid in the adults table. And no one cares!! It is so annoying! Addison even lies to Elena to avoid spending the weekend with her… I know maybe I should not take the situation like that. That everything was done in good spirits and without real malice. I beg to defer, though. Friends shouldn’t behave like that under any circunstances.
And Gabe should at least think a little bit about his son, don’t you think? I bet he barely sees him due to a crazy schedule, but he is incapable of sparing a thought about him and he is 100% focus on Addison. Let the mother and the uncle take care of him… Pretty mature… And don’t make me start about his speeches during sex!! What was that?? How can anyone talk so much just seconds before the climax?? I guess at that point I was so pissed due to Elena’s situation that I was seeing red every step of the way…
I want to end with a positive note: the cover is amazing! I love the colourful title and the guy doesn’t hurt the eye, either.
This is a HOT intro to Gabe and Addison’s story. It may be a short prequel but there is definitely enough story there for the reader to get to know the characters and get a glimpse into their secrets … enough to entice you to buy the next book that follows their journey to their HEA. (although this one is not necessary to read before hand)
Easy Going is the introduction to the Boys of the Big Easy series and it was quite the introduction! We meet brothers Gabe and Logan Trahan, owners of the bar Trahan’s in New Orleans and legendary players. Gabe and Logan are friends with a local architect, Elena LeBlanc and through a series of texts, Gabe corresponded with Addison Sloan. Now Addison has arrived in the Big Easy for the weekend to meet with Elena and are stopping by the bar for drinks but Gabe has a lot more planned for this intriguing woman from New York. The plan is simple, one weekend of good times and then they each go on their merry way. Or is it? Easy Going is a hot introduction to the real story which is Going Down Easy and I will be reading that next because I want more of the Big Easy! This story brings the heat, laughter, sounds and tastes of New Orleans come to life. It’s told from dual POV and I give it a big YES!
Wow! This author is on fire with this series! Gabe and Addison are setting off sparks from the moment they know about each other. This is even before they actually meet. This short story tells us of their initial meeting and EVERYTHING that happens that weekend. YUM!
Great introduction to a new series. The characters already have my interest and I’m looking forward to what is going to happen in the Big Easy.
LiIt’s sexy and steamy down in The a Big Easy…and a little kinky, too! While I’m used to the sexy steamy-ness of Ms. Nicholas’s books, the kink added a bit of a twist. Not bad, certainly not hard core, but it’s a disclaimer to those who may not enjoy that flavor in your romance.
While Caleb is not generally know for being nice & easy around most people, he definitely is easy to get along with…that is, until Lexi and her son Jack move in. Although Caleb and Lexi share child rearing help of Jack and Caleb’s niece, Shay, with each other, things change when they are living in the same house. Caleb tries to do things for Lexi, but she doesn’t need him to take command…unless it’s in the bedroom!
The same humor and fabulous storytelling that are present in every Erin Nicholas book are front and center in Nice and Easy, too. And while in the two previous books in the series we saw many of the support groups secondary characters, this book was 80% just Caleb and Lexi…and their little chosen family….and it was perfect!! We did have a short visit here and there, which is always great, but I so enjoyed these two characters fumbling their way along this new path together, issues and all. That’s yet another mark of a great writer…not every book follows the same trope, or formula. We don’t need to see every character we know in every single book.
Love this book, love this series…I never want it to end!
I received an ARC of this book, but I voluntarily left a review.ndsay’s story has all the feels…funny, sexy, sweet and emotional. I laughed, I swooned and I cried…and not the pretty kind where a few tears run down your cheeks. I mean full blown, nose runnng crying…and it was awesome!!
If you’ve read the first two books in the series, you know that Lindsay is part of the single parents club, but not really single. Her husband Matt is a soldier and is overseas more than he’s home. She keeps the family going while he’s away…and he’d understand if she maybe flirted a little with the sexy Santa at their Christmas party, right!? Turns out, Santa brought Lindsay an extra special gift this year, even though she’s been a bit naughty, as well as nice!
Though short in length, Eggnog Makes Her Easy packed quite the punch and left this reader with not only a continued gratitude for our soldiers, but also a deep respect for the families they leave at home. And the Christmas setting was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. 5 stars to Erin Nicholas for this sexy romance and a fitting tribute to those who keep us safe and the families who support them!
Easy Going is the starter to a new series, Boys of the Big Easy. In this short story we are introduced to Gabe Trahan and Addison Sloane, the attraction is instantaneous and the sex is explosive. It’s only supposed to be a fling, nothing personal shared, but after six months they are still going strong. But each is hiding a secret from the other and Addison is thinking it’s time to end this and Gabe…the complete opposite. The ending is a cliff-hanger, you will want your hands on the next book immediately and that installment will pick up exactly where it let off.
Prequel to Gabe & Addison in Going Down Easy
This was just ok for me.
I started off so confused. I had to go back to reread the first few pages to figure out who was what and where and how, huh? Having to reread is a huge dealbreaker for me so that put a damper on the rest of the action for me from the start. Not good. I also didn’t find a lot of the dialogue very sexy even though I’m sure it was. Between that and short choppy sentences it felt awkward and clunky to me at times.
I will give book one, Going Down Easy, a shot though.
Having already read Going Down Easy as an ARC I loved going back to see how it all started. Gabe and Addison are amazing! A great prequel to the book!
This book was perfect for what it is: a prequel novella to the new Boys of the Big Easy series. Gabe is so sweet and sexy, and totally head-over-heels for Addison from the get-go. And I love that she returns! It is great to see how much fun they have together at the beginning of their relationship, before things get heavy and real.
Loved this. What a great, quick catchup with Addison and Gabe. I enjoyed meeting them in So Easy, which I read as part of the Waking Up Married anthology. The text conversation between them was hilarious. This time it was all sexy and steamy. The balcony scene was especially naughty. I can’t wait to read the rest of their story in Going Down Easy.
This was a good taste of what was to come in this series. A great introduction to the characters and a hint of the story.
Erin Nicholas dives right in to Gabe and Addison story with this hot, steamy, sexy novella of their weekend together. Addison comes to New Orleans to see her bestie and the chemistry between her and Gabe at the Tavern is explosive! I don’t think I’ll ever see a beignet again without thinking of them! <3 Wow, their night (well, weekend, but we only get the sexy, juicy details of the first night) will leave you fanning yourself and very turned on! I can’t wait to read their full story in Going Down Easy. If this novella is any indication of how the Boys of the Big Easy series is going to be – damn, my hubby will be a happy man! *wink, wink*
Easy Going is a sexy teaser for Erin Nicholas’ new Boys of the Big Easy series, and OH MY GOODNESS…I think my Kindle MAY have actually short circuited, this was so steamy! I actually read Going Down Easy, Gabe and Addison’s full novel before I read this teaser, and that book started off with a bang that, well, sent me straight for a cold glass of water and some air conditioning, I’ll tell you that! And basically? This teaser is what led to that very hot opening… Gabe and Addison had an accidental text message meeting due to a swapped cell phone snafu a few months ago, and Gabe has been intrigued ever since…and when Addison (a New Yorker) shows up at his bar in New Orleans one night on a business trip? He turns on the charm full force to win her attention. Addison isn’t looking for a relationship, but she could do with a steamy fling…and Gabe looks good to her! The chemistry between these two is palatable, both personal and physical. Easy Going is a short story, just the story of one (VERY) hot weekend between two consenting adults, no strings attached. But you can feel Erin Nicholas’ working her magic and weaving those roots all over the place…and you just know it’s going to lead to more stories. I was SO glad I already owned Going Down Easy, because of course I immediately had to dive back in and re-read it as soon as I was done with this one. {sigh}. There’s just something about these Boys of the Big Easy. I promise you are in for a treat! You may want to have a cold shower handy. And some ice cream. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Nicholas can charm the heart right out of your chest. Easy Going is a tempting precuser to what looks to be a saucy romance.
