Gabby and Rhys were a surprise coupling I never saw coming but what a delightful surprise it was. Gabby was strong and independent and had all my admiration. I love the sacrifices she made for her son to be the best mom possible.
Mr. Rhys O’Shaughnessy, this man here just totally stole my heart, I mean it didn’t even take much effort. The one thing I love more than seeing a man with his own child is a man who loves his significant other’s child like it’s his own flesh and blood. My gosh those scenes with him and Sam? All.The.Swoon. Also, Rhys, the man himself was just filthily scrumptious. Kristen Proby had me hooked onto every word of their hawt, sweet and steamy story and even threw in a couple twists to knock me off my feet.
Loved this one! Gabby is the baby of the family and the mom of Sam. Rhys shows up to stay at the Bed and Breakfast she owns and runs to heal from his shoulder injury and falls for her and her son. Watching him with Sam is so beautiful. These two have some powerful chemistry together and this family is some awesome protective of their own and Rhys is protective of Gabby and Sam. Definitely a keeper in this series!
Kristen Proby has one more fan now. Easy Charm is about a young innkeeper in Louisiana. What makes this story so interesting is that Gabby is a single mother who decides she doesn’t want a lover who doesn’t love his son as well. Rhys doesn’t only love Sam but he wants to be his father. Get ready for a sexy, intriguing journey as Gabby gathers Rhys into her heart and learns that love is worth the trouble.
A charming, entertaining, sweet, and heartfelt story. Rhys and Gabby are simply perfect together. Their chemistry was instantaneous, and extremely steamy. They were also very sweet and tender with each other. They have a beautiful relationship from the beginning; where they felt comfortable talking through everything as adults. They have a misunderstanding which I can see Gabby’s past is to blame but like the true sweetness of this story they resolve it all in the kindest way. I enjoyed the dynamic between the Boudreaux siblings, and how protective the men are with their sisters, and sisters towards their brothers. It was cute. If only all families could be so loving. I absolutely enjoyed everything about this book.
Easy Charm is easy and charming to read. I am enjoying the Boudreaux family. Kristen Proby has a way of luring you into this fantastic family world. She makes you fall in love with the characters and feel as if you are a part of their family. This book is about Gabby, the youngest Boudreaux, and Rhys, a professional baseball player. We met both characters in the first book. You don’t have to read the first book in order to understand this one, but I encourage it. Gabby is the baby of the family raising a son by herself. Rhys is an injured baseball player needing time to mend from surgery. They have an instant connection. This is a sweet story of them learning to love each other. There are a few spots of misunderstanding along the way, but nothing to make this what I would call angsty. Had life not interrupted me I could have read this in one sitting. I can’t wait for more of this family. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
I just love Kristen’s books and this one was no different. Couldn’t stop reading! Loved reading this one and just loved Rhys and Gabby together. This is definitely a must read and so worth it! Can’t wait to read the next one in this series.
4 Incapable Stars. Fun, FuN, FUN! That’s the one word that comes to mind when I think of Easy Charm. Gabby is a single mom with the sweetest little boy you’ll ever want to meet. I’m a sucker for stories with kids that steal the show. Sam does that in spades.
Gabby is the youngest of the Boudreaux clan and as the baby of the family everyone, absolutely everyone has something to say about what she does, where she goes, who she hangs with, etc. You get the picture. I understand her pain. I’m the youngest with only older brothers. Sometimes it was a pain the rear. Anyway, Gabby hasn’t had it easy, she’s out to prove a point to her family and run her business on her terms. She’s doing just that. Then, along comes Rhys O’Shaughnessy…
Rhys is Kate’s cousin, but more like a brother. His parents died when he was four and he raised Kate’s parents raised him. So really? They’re siblings more than cousins. Rhys recently injured his shoulder and he’s now out for the season. Did I mention he’s a pitcher for the Cubs? Probably because I don’t like to mention the Cubs. =P Anyway, he needs to get away to rest, heal, and get his head back where it belongs. Kate knows just where he should do that…Gabby’s B&B in the Bayou outside of New Orleans. Heeding Kate’s suggestion is the best decision Rhys has made in a long time.
This book is pure fun, entertaining, and sweet. The Boudreaux clan is easy to hang out with.
The series about 6 New Orleans siblings finding love… is just captivating. This second book is such a sweet read.. Heroine is strong but so sweet with her son without being domineering… loved it.
Gabby has been hurt badly before but she is determined to take care her son Sam and run her B&B. That is until sexy baseball player Rhys O’Shaughnessy enters her life. He is staying at the B&B to recover and get his pitching arm back. Sam worships him and they instantly create a bond, but nothing compared to the bond that she is forming with Rhys. Gabby wants him but can she take that leap again and not be hurt? I loved this story, I think more so than the first book. Kristen Proby really knows how to pull her readers into a story and leave them caring so deeply about the characters. I can’t wait to see what the next book will bring.
