This is the third book in the Air Awakens series. This will be a short review due to not wanting to spoil anything, but guys this book was one wild ride. Only two days passed since the end of the second book. So there is no space of time you miss. This book was full of action from beginning to end. Vahalla is no longer the girl from the library. She has transformed into a fierce woman and everyone better get out of her way. She is full of passion no matter what she is doing. There is no going halfway with her.
There has always been something that I just don’t like about Aldrik and yep still not fully behind him. This book gave me so much more respect for Baldair. Sorry, I can’t tell you why it would spoil too much. Then we have Daniel, my heart just bleeds for him and I really want him to have a happy ending.
I really need to pick up the next book so I can have some questions answered.
If you enjoy books with kick-ass female characters then you really need to pick up book 1 Air Awakens.
**REREAD REVIEW 01/24/2019**
This book has yet again pulled my heart from my chest. I am a sobbing mess right now. Elise Kova creates a story that will meld with your soul. Just as a sorcerer can feel their power within them, the reader can feel the story within them in the same way. It’s very intimate and carefully crafted.
One of my favorite things about reading Elise Kova’s book is getting to know the characters. They feel like family. She doesn’t just write an amazing main character or a compelling love interest, no. She creates a cast of characters that mingle, and weave, and play off of each other with their different relationships, desires, and attractions. The characters in her books become a force that drives the book forward. You really do fall in love with each and every one of them.
I have to give Kova props on the development of the plot. The story really is incredible and it pushes on with so much emotion. There are high stakes, there is action, there are political deceptions, there is love, and there is friendship. Everything is played out and orchestrated beautifully. I am truly in awe of her storytelling.
I loved the deeper look into this world and the magic within it. You can tell that there is so much more to come and so much more to learn about this inventive world.
I recommend this series to everyone! Just everyone! It is full of magic, trials, love, friendship, political intrigue, and damn amazing characters. This love story is among one of my favorites and I have no doubt that others would feel the same.
**ORININAL Review**
My heart! OMG, my heart! I am so not okay right now. I have so many emotions rushing through me. Sadness, anger, devastation…I just don’t feel like I can go on.
These characters become a part of you. Not just the main characters, but ALL of them. Each one works their way into your heart. The characters will lodge themselves in your heart, and they will not let go. I haven’t been so physically moved by a set of characters in a long time. These characters will become a part of you. They are so well written, and they are so complex in their own ways. Each characters brings something extraordinary to the story.
Elise Kova has invented an extraordinary story in a magical world. Her writing is smooth and flows perfectly with the pace of the story. Her writing is utterly brilliant! She weaves words like the gods weave the stars into the sky.
The plot really thickens in Earth’s End. There is so much more political stratagem in the story. So many are eager to see their plans come through in the end. There is so much tension. There is also some romance in the story that is so very touching. There is an explosive tragedy at the end of the book that broke my heart into little pieces and rubbed my face in the pieces. It seriously broke my spirit. I need a conclusion, like now. Water’s Wrath here I come!
This series is so addictive! I recommend this series to everyone! If you like fantasy then pick up this series now and prepare to have your heart stolen away by this magical story!
This is my favorite book in the series. The conflict kept coming, and the romance was even more on point if that can be believed
And I thought nothing could hurt me after the last books ending. The book was amazing. This series has quickly become one of my favorites. The writing is fantastic and the characters are perfect! I can not wait for the next book.
I cant get enough! Two in one day? To an extent! I take this one like a dagger to the gut, and love it!
Actual rating 4.5 stars.
No five stars yet. Well it happened early. I present to you the first book of the year to make me cry. That ending was heartbreaking. It left me as an emotional shell in a glass case of emotion. Of course since I cried, Wy laughed because he thinks it’s so adorable. I’m in pain and he thinks it’s cute. Ugh!
Vhalla really has turned around for the “woe is me girl” in the first book. She has transformed herself into a warrior. It’s awesome. Luckily the author didn’t kill any of my favorite characters.
This series is turning out better than I thought it was going to be. I really didn’t think I was going to like it after the first book but I am glad the first book is the only one I haven’t liked. Now as I write this I am more than half way through the fourth book and will probably have a review up on it either tonight or tomorrow
