We should have known someone or something, would step in and save our planet. Who could blame anyone, for trying to save the planet we’d been steadily destroying for centuries! Let’s face it, we couldn’t possibly be the only inhabitants of a planet in the whole universe. When Mel wakes in a hospital type environment, she doesn’t know where she is or who she is. It’s a total shock for her, to not … her, to not only discover that angels are real, but that she and the other human survivors will be helping the alien angels, to not only save the animal kingdom, but the human race and Earth in truly amazing and magical ways.
Once reunited with her husband and older children Anthony, Holly, Harrison and Abigail, her family are introduced to magic that they didn’t know our planet held.
The magical and beautiful angels are healers of planets, a peaceful and gentle race with amazing powers. Imagine finding out that ancient aliens are real, and that the tales of humans and angels working together actually happened.
Now the angels and humans have to work together again, to heal the planet we nearly destroyed.
The angels power is a special kind of magic, that also brings Earth’s ancient ruins back to life, by mending and reactivating our planets ancient defenses around the world. These defenses will be needed as the Marilians are coming. They have decided to follow the angels to Earth and they are now wanting to take Earth and the humans as their own.
The humans and angels have two missions. To prepare for the upcoming battle and heal our planet.

“Space, the final frontier”…wait wrong place in my head. If you are a sci-fi fan, like me, you will love the book “Earth’s Angels” by Beth Worshell. I was electrified by the aliens’ abilities and the imagery that made this book so unique. The story definitely had me pondering what our ancestors would think if they saw our planet now. A quote from the book spoke to me sadly…“It had taken our world to start dying for us to finally gain world peace.”
Can we really be the only race in this great big universe? When our Earth is dying, ancient angels come to the rescue in an effort to save Earth. Imagine waking up in a hospital-type environment and not knowing who or where you are? Mel, the main character learns the unimaginable truth of what has become of her home planet. She, along with her fellow survivors join the angels in an effort to bring planet Earth back to life, but something is trying to stop them.
The author, Beth Worshell has such an imagination, it had me awestruck! I think “Earth Angels” would be a great movie for any sci-fi fan! This is book one of a trilogy and I can’t wait to dive into the next one, anticipating more excitement and awe! So, join me in reading this trilogy for your next sci-fi adventure. And, remember to make those little efforts to save our planet: recycling, planting a tree and not littering to name a few.
~This book was given to me in a giveaway by the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.~
In a post apocalyptical world where humans have pushed the limits of Nature far too much, things are very bad. Mel, the main character is pregnant and she discovers the presence of angels who are trying to heal the world. Beautiful description and excellent premise.
Enjoyed it.
At first it was a little dry, but only because the introduction was not expected. Past chapter 1, it was a great read. Made me excited for book two. Note: This is written by a wonderful british author! So a lot of the writing leans towards British english.
Earth’s Angels is a science fiction, apocalyptic, end-of-the-world story that begins with the protagonist, Mel, waking up in a maternity ward run by angels—then she promptly gives birth to a tiger! Beth Worsdell has created a fantasy world where everything is beautiful and calm or horrible and violent. The angels are gorgeous, alluring creatures with powerful abilities to calm and heal humans. They have transported all the survivors of the earth to spacecraft while they try to revive the planet. The concept has possibilities, but the plot lacks substance—as when the scary Marilians show up and threaten to kill everyone and destroy the earth again. The mighty angels seem helpless and rely on humans to save them. The book reads like a young adult fairy-tale with explicit sex thrown in here and there. The contrast is odd. However, the message that humans are destroying the earth is one we should all pay attention to.
