Yup, another hit!
Omg! Seriously! Jennifer I hate and love you all at once right now. Why? Ugh. I loved this book, especially the fact that it did not go the way I expected, not at all. I really have no words right now. Just read it y’all! Oh and congrats for being the first book I finished in 2018!
This is one of those series that each book drags you in a little bit more –
You relate to the characters on a personal level-
You become a part of their journey-
Each loss leaving you just a touch more broken –
Each successful acquisition a moment of celebration –
This is the “prologue” to C’s journey
Be prepared –
to laugh –
to feel rage –
to feel elation-
to feel loss-
I did not want to close the pages
There is so much to this book.
Two people who are closed off. But also both so opposite of one another.
Camille “C” is a young girl with a violent past.
Her heart still harbors the anger and pain that was inflicted upon her.
Smith is a hired assassin who sees something in C.
He takes her under his wing.
I loved how he helped her to grow and develop.
Her transition brings to me mind the different phases of a butterfly.
With the guidance of Smith she just changed dramatically.
That was so great to see.
There was no way I couldn’t be endeared to both Smith and C.
Fantastic plot and storyline. So many layers to it.
It’s gripping,intense and very emotional.
The writing is flawless and done to perfection.
Every word, sentence and paragraph flowed as smooth as silk!
I absolutely loved Early Sins!
This is a great prequel where you get to see how Camille came to do what she does. You will enjoy this book as part of the series. Jennifer is a great writer. Enjoy the book.
The prequel to Lethal Sins and in this book we meet a very young Camille and get the story of how she became a assassin. It is rollercoaster action filled ride. It is a bit like Leon meets Mr & Mrs Smith
I haven’t finished the book but, so far, it’s keeping me engaged & turning pages to see what C & Smith will do next.
Like the first book but not the 2nd. I am at 40% and cant continue. Just to slow for me.
