Light reading, but entertaining. Good mystery
Enjoyed the character’s. Showed what can happen when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Interesting how the friends helped one another
I felt like I was reading a script for I Love Lucy. So if you like funny mysteries, this fills the bill.
I enjoyed it. a good way to spend the afternoon.
I was kept on the edge of my seat hoping they would catch the guy before he got away to find out the antique lady was the whole deal and still no solution to the father and his friends death.
You have to read the next book to tie up loose ends.
A really fun read – I truly enjoyed it!
I enjoyed reading. Was a fun read
Entertaining for a quick, easy read!
It was an easy read and funny and intriguing!
What a wonderful book. This was a really quick, interesting read. The characters were well developed and very fun, especially Anna Mae! I’ll have to buy the other books in the series to find out who killed Cat’s father.
Fun, easy cozy read. Engaging characters that make you chuckle, especially Anna Mae. Very short and the guessing game for the murderer was well done.
I definitely plan on reading more in the series.
A light , delightful read. A spunky ,would-be detective, who gets in trouble at every turn but still comes out a winner keeps you turning pages for the next plot development.
It was OK. Some cute parts but too easy to solve mystery
Although the book was an engaging easy-to-read mystery, I was not happy that it didn’t have an ending, making another purchase necessary to get a true ending (which I didn’t buy because I had the feeling each book probably ends … or maybe I should say “doesn’t end” the same way). The publisher even states in the book description that it is a …
Not much action. Could only get half-way through it.
Just a little too silly for me.
So she went home because she forgot the dinner rolls and got murdered in her kitchen. Not a very inspiring plot, not very inspiring characters. A so-so read.
This book was so bad. It should have been a short story in a Reader’s Digest. Sorry to the author for my harsh comments, I understand that she put a lot of effort into this book.
Boring
