Great story! A must read!
Save your money.
This was an alright book. Very descriptive of some scary scenes during the apocalypse, which for me isn’t what I was expecting and why I gave it 3/5. It was good though, I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. It felt like it was the trailer teaser for the second book though, which frustrated me.
Another great read
Poorly written and edited.
Was a little slow to get into, Whenit started gettng good, the story eneded abrumply. Now you have ot read book 2 to find our what happens.
Well written, great characters,a real page turner
Couldn’t get passed the first third. People who don’t think make illogical decisions.
I normally don’t read books on the end of the world but I found this book very interesting. You never knew what would happen next and I have read the entire series and looking forward to reading the last book in the series when it comes out in December. A great book to read over the weekend because you won’t want to put it down.
The grammar & use of wrong words was so bad I couldn’t stay with it.
Can’t wait to read next book.
While I liked the character development, the explanation of what happened to cause all the earth moving and catastrophes was pretty thin. Because of that, I decided not to purchase any more books in the series.
Gave it 2 stars. Couldn’t finish reading. The main character is an idiot. Don’t think survivors would be that stupid.
Would have given a higher review – ,since I’ve read the 1st 4, but I hate the bad editing – words that sound the same but aren’t ( ie Plain vs plane:; they’re vs their vs there; desk vs deck; and on it goes) otherwise, like the plot, etc.
I read this book in one day, barely able to put it down to get something to eat. If you don’t like bad language and/or are squeamish, then this book is not for you. This is a suspense filled thriller with mystery, fascinating likeable and hat-able characters, an incredible plot, gruesome parts, action, muders and plenty of mayhem. A very entertaining book.
I read this in one day and the second book in one day and am now starting the third book in this series. When I was watching the news tonight with the tsunami in Indonesia and the houses being destroyed by the ground flowing and the volcano erupting, I thought this news sounds a lot like the books in this series.
The premise of the book eludes me. Maybe it is climate change, but all of this destruction would not have been so instant. What I really disliked was the reaction of the characters to this scenario. Residents in a gated community lose all power and electrical failures from EMP and they sit around for three days before someone says “Lets walk out to the nearby store and see what is going on.” Then all residents huddle in their homes as armed men begin shooting neighbors and no one tries to form a group to resist? No, this is not what would happen. I did read the whole book but have no desire to read the next book in hopes of finding out what is going on.
