This series is fun, quick and entertaining. The characters develop as you read along and the tension builds to the ending. Fun reads
Quick reads. Predictable plots, but still fun. The characters are realistic.
I enjoyed it. A fun read, like all of her books. Takes me back to when I read my Nancy Drew and Miss Marple books.i
I already rated this book
All four books in this set are very short (4 books in 348 pages), very lightweight in content, and solutions that are improbably pat. This author is extremely prolific, with several multi-book series, which does not surprise me given the lack of depth.
Fun characters!!
What a wonderful book… You meet Suzie who inherits the run-down bed-and- breakfast, Dune House, a mansion on the beach, and her friend Mary who is just getting over a bitter divorce… They renovate the house with the help of town’s people they meet, including Jason, Suzie’s cousin who is a police officer and whose family owned the house, and Paul, a fisherman who falls in love with Suzie. In addition to renovating the house, Suzie and Mary come upon and solve several murders. The book is very hard to put down and you keep wanting it to continue even more…
Easy read.
This series is sophomoric, too easy to figure out, written as if she knows nothing about relationships. her main character, Suzie, is so boring, wimpy, and annoying.
Sorry, this is the worst reading I’ve ever had.
Suzie and Mary are girls I would love to know for real.
Ok for light reading. I read all four books in less than two days. They could have more descriptions of the different rooms, colors and themes, furnishings.. I wanted more about the painting itself. The colors, people depicted in the painting. More character development as well.
Fun, light reading with a bit of romance mixed in with the mystery. Enjoyable
Great reading!
Fun read with nice main characters, sympathetic secondary characters, a beautoful house and a mystery mixed in. Entertaining.
Unbelievable actions for a 50ish woman; juvenile, very predictable
Very entertaining
Very light an easy read. A great story when you just want to relax and enjoy
Short, enjoyable escape literature.
So glad to find a series of books about women in their 50’s as the main characters. I also appreciate that the stories are clean, although both women still have romance in their lives.
I liked the story and found the characters to be ones I could root for.
