I think this is my absolute favourite book in the whole of the outlander series. I found the historical aspect of this book rivetting and it has encouraged me to delve deeper into the history of these turbulent times in what was a new colony.
Diana is one of may favorite authors. I love her witty writing style and depth of characters and action as well as romance. I’ve read all 8 and this is one of my favorite ones.
You just never know where Jamie & Claire are going to end up, or what they will go through to get there. This entire series of books is enthralling!!
This is the 5th installment in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. The first half of the book involves our main characters getting settled in to their new landscape and trying to make a life for themselves. The 2nd half is where it gets more interesting and more reunions occur that will gratify fans. I’m going to be a stick-in-the-mud by …
Just read the whole series
The whole series was awesome. Looking forward to a new installment to tne series in fall 2021
I love the whole series.
Loved everything Galbdon writes
This is the fourth book in the OUtlander series. I liked it, but not as much as the first one. Better than the third one. Maybe because many of the plot development devices related to time travel can only be new so often – although the information is still interesting. This one has a great subplot of “protecting family honor” with a guy from 17th …
The author Diana Gabaldon provides fiction with an accurate historical background. She is particularly good on medical procedures as the lead character is a 20th century doctor.
This is the fourth installment in the Outlander series and once again, I felt like I was transported to a wonderful time with such a rich wealth of depth to her characters and plots.
In this one, we have the two separate timelines again except one is Jamie and Claire and the other is their daughter, Brianna, and Roger her love interest and a man …
The epic tale of deep abiding love through time continues in the fourth book in this amazing series. The characters are absolutely wonderful full of personality, complete with strengths and weaknesses. I loved the character interaction, especially the emotionally charged union of their daughter with Clare and Jamie. The storyline takes us on an …
Continuation of the spectacular Outlander series. Loved all the books
Best one since the first of the series!
By splitting up the main characters up, the story can cover so much more territory. Loved almost every minute of it.
4th time reading this series.
Audiobook: Narrator – Davina Porter
Probably the best narrator to be found. She does a remarkable job of every accent, character, and emotion. No two are the same and her performance takes this series to another level as she brings these characters to life. Her voice is pure magic to my ears.
I’m not a huge fan of the Brianna and Rogers …
Each book in the Outlander series is better than the last, and the first was already fantastic!
This book is different from most of the others in the fact that it is not only from Claire’s first-person perspective. It also follows Roger Wakefield (Mackenzie) and Brianna Randall (Fraser) in the third person. I like that the author chose to write …
Another excellent book in The Series
Love , love , love all the outlander books. I watched the shows first then read the books. It helped me not compare the two as much as some people do who read first. Diana is an awesome writer and loved the characters. Such a great love story packed with so much more
Any book of the Outlander series is rich in history, amen de ser a piece of writing art
