Working at a women’s magazine definitely has its perks, including a free vacation to the Bahamas. The catch? I have to help my best friend, Gem, host a singles cruise that uses your zodiac sign to match you with your soulmate.Ya know, if you drink the Kool-Aid.I find the whole thing amusing until she starts to set me up with every Aquarius, Cancer, and Virgo on the boat. Then I meet Gage. A Leo. …
Then I meet Gage. A Leo.
He’s the exact opposite of my ideal match by zodiac standards, and is the perfect solution to get Gem off my back.
Then the stars align, and I find myself drowning in love whether I want to or not.
But I guess that’s what I deserve for tempting fate.
If only he felt the same way.

What a fun enjoyable story!
I loved Gage and Nora! Their story was fun and very relatable. They had great chemistry and the storyline was very entertaining! It’s the perfect summer read! It capitulated me from the start! I couldn’t put it down! I love The Written In The Stars series! I can’t wait for Fearless In Love! I’m sure it will be great too!
This was a witty, fun, sexy read that I devoured in one setting. Two random chance meetings, can you find love when your star sign are so different? Nora and Gage were hot from the first proposal to the second! Very fun instalove story you don’t want to miss!
Drowning in Love was such enjoyable read. I really liked Gage and Nora. They were fun and relatable, with great chemistry. The story was written beautifully and had a interesting plot. I’m not usually into insta-love but it really worked in this book and fit with these characters. This was my first book by this author but I would definitely read more and will recommend Drowning in Love. It’s a perfect summer/beach read. It was so good I didn’t want it to end, probably my favorite so far in the Written in the Stars series!
I absolutely love this book. The whole series so far has been highly enjoyable.
This book is Nora and Gage’s story. They meet at a college football game when Gage spontaneously proposes to Nora. Yes they were strangers.
Fast forward a month and they meet again on a Written in the Stars singles cruise.
What starts out as a mutual deal of friendships turn into so much more.
Will Nora have her happily ever after? Be sure to read to find out.
This series is seriously amazing… I’ve yet to read one that I didn’t like and I just added Nora and Gage to my pile of couples I love.
Their meet-cute was hilarious and I loved the way they didn’t (quite) rush into something to serious. Their hung-ups about relationship had them taking slow steps into the right direction. I loved that they talked about problems they had and deciding together what was the best way for them. And the HEA at the end?? Swoon with a capital S!!

What a cute, sweet, fun and funny story! I really enjoyed Drowning in Love.
Fun and Flirty! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Gage and Nora have the best meet cute in the opening of this book… but it all comes crashing down fast. Then a while later they meet again and all that Gage thought about Nora is completely different and he is so happy that he was mistaken. When they meet again on a singles cruise sparks are flying and they both use the cruise to get what they need… each other.
4 Sweet Stars!
Drowning in Love made me giddy right from the start and my heart might have skipped a beat or two. If you aren’t fascinated as soon as Gage comes into the picture, we can’t be friends. He could call me pretty girl for the rest of my life, and I would probably still blush. Nora and Gage are two imperfect people that couldn’t be more right for each other. They just need time to figure that out and not let their own vices get in the way of their own happily ever after. You need to read this book for the game, the signs, the massage, and the brownies alone. Nora’s best friend, Gemma, is over the top and you will either be laughing or rolling your eyes in the best way. Kelsie, I would gladly drown in Gage’s love forever.

Gage & Nora’s meeting was a little unconventional, but kinda cute and a little funny. Their second meeting’s location was just about as funny but was the perfect location for dating, if the stars aligned. I loved that it not only gave them time to get to know each other in some fun ways, it also gave them the opportunity to dive through their reasons to not want long term relationships. Their chemistry was also off the charts. I loved it. I swooned.
Nora and Gage have the best beginning. I was laughing and smiling and I swear I was the one blushing. I could feel every emotion coming off the pages. Their relationship doesn’t start off in a very conventional way but it works for them.
There are some hard truths they have to face but I love how in the end, Gage is the one to push. I ended up reading it all the way through and sacrificed some sleep to finish it. I also have a sudden craving for brownies.
From the moment they met, Nora and Gage’s relationship has been something different. Though, I loved the way they first met because it was fun, memorable and a complete surprise. Their second meeting is when sparks really start to fly and that connection starts to form.
I love the cruise aspect of the book. It was something fun and different. Everything about the cruise was a surprise and both Nora and Gage learned a lot about themselves as individuals, but also about a relationship. Both of them want something different when it comes to relationships, however, they can’t deny their chemistry.
This story also sets up a book between Nora’s brother, Owen, and his high school love. I loved every single moment of this story. It was a fairly quick read, but perfect for a weekend read.
Nora and Gage story was perfect for this story. I loved how the story was about finding love and some people believe that their signs dictate how their loves lives should be but you don’t have to go by that. It was beautifully written and told perfectly. This story is the perfect example of you love can just fall into your lap when you least expect it!
This was a fun read in an awkward kind of way. Everything that happens is a surprise. From the first meet, to the unexpected encounter on the cruise, to the uncomfortable situations that Gage and Nora are thrown into. They are put on the spot in more ways than one but everything works because Gage rolls with the punches. He is a great sport even when it requires for him to dig deeper (not what he expected when meeting Nora). He is fun and confident, ready to turn every situation into a good time. And it balances perfectly with Nora’s need to let go without sacrificing her sweet, emotional, caring personality. In his eyes, she shines bright. Turns out, they were both oblivious to what they deep down needed. But they still manage to find it with a lot of pushes in the mist of an adventure. In this story, the most important part is that they both end up learning more about themselves and in turn it helps them take chances. Be better for the other.
Drowning in Love was cute right from the start. Gage is a guy you can imagine encountering at your typical college football game. Nora is a girl I can relate to, doesn’t like all the attention on them! I got through this story fairly quickly but it was enjoyable the whole way. Made me giddy with that new love feeling!
“A story that melted my heart. Nora and Gage were utterly amazing and beyond wonderful. Their first encounter had me rolling of laughter. They were so cute and lovely. Astonishing characters and lots of humorous moments. Another great addition to the Written in the Sand series. To be honest I wasn’t so into astrology before this series but now I’ve come to see it differently and I really like it. A beautifully written story that you’ll love it.”
What do you get when you mix one of the best meet-cutes in romance with one of the industry’s top romance authors? Welcome to Drowning in Love, the latest edition to the incredibly entertaining Written in the Stars series and one the best reads of the year.
Kelsie delivers as always with a swoony worthy hero Gage, a man who doesn’t believe in astrology or long term relationships. Matched with the incomparable Nora, sweetness personified. This pair meets in one of the most epic manners possible and when their paths cross once again we can’t wait to watch the sparks fly.
Drowning in Love is a super-fast read, hitting all the right notes, filling you to the rim while also leaving you wanting more (hint, hint, the story of Saylor is coming).
This was the perfect read for me at the right time. What a gift. What a find. Read it today.
Gage proposes to Nora within 5 minutes of meeting her. Too bad he’s as drunk as a skunk and does it for the crowd effects at a college football game.
When he fails to return to his seat to get Nora’s phone numbers, Nora is hurt and a little emotional.
Enter the singles, horoscope cruise that Nora is helping her best friend organize for the magazine they work for. Gage is on the cruise because his friends and coworkers convince him it’s a great way to meet single ladies.
While Gage is not looking for long-term or even a relationship, he encounters Nora. They agree to a pretend ‘match’ but each of them becomes more enthralled with the other as they attend workshops and learn more about the other person.
I loved Gage, he’s sweet and yet strong and willing to take the plunge after getting to really know and enjoy Nora.
Nora and Gage fall for each other the first time they meet but its under the most crazy circumstances ever. After their initial run in, they don’t see each other until a few weeks later when they are on a singles cruise. Sparks fly but can these two with the wrong zodiac sign make it. I love Kelsie and this book also gives you a glimpse into another book she is writing with Saylor and Owen.
A super fun read. When you best friend needs your help and starts setting you up, it’ll never work right? But what if it does? This is cruise ship set romance that works. A totally fun, great characters an d well written read you’ll want for the summer. I really loved Nora and Gage.
I’m a big fan of Kelsie’s writing and Drowning in Love is one of my favorite books by Kelsie. This book had me laughing one minute and swooning the next. I loved the way it starts out with Nora meeting Gage at a football game and him proposing to her, then them not seeing one another again until he signs up to go on a singles cruise with his friends. The ending was one of the best endings I’ve ever read in a book. This was such a sweet read that had me all gooey inside just like brownie batter.
