Bestselling author Lisa Suzanne’s newest standalone romantic comedy features rock stars, an older brother’s best friend, and a road trip that will change their lives.
If opposites attract, my brother’s best friend and I are perfect for each other.
I’m a balanced, ambitious ER nurse. He’s the immature guy in a successful band who’s basically along for this ride called life.
Everything’s going … ride called life.
Everything’s going great between us until the night he makes a stupid mistake that changes everything. When I can’t see a future with him, I end it.
But the two of us are contractually obligated to go on a road trip across the country, and since his reality show will be filming us, we have to act like we’re a couple.
He blasts music I can’t stand, stops at strange roadside attractions, and chooses my least favorite restaurants. Despite all that, I still see the sides of him that I was starting to fall in love with.
Can we find our way back to each other, or will he just keep driving me crazy?

I absolutely loved Amber and Rascal!
They start out “hooking up” with no possible way such opposites could ever have a relationship. Then just as they give it a try, reality slaps Amber in the face and she does what any intelligent, grounded, sane young woman would do…but she’s not prepared for the feelings!! Will (Rascal) is a lot more mature than he seems and is unwilling to accept or forgive Amber’s negative view of him.
The cross country road trip is a great metaphor for their journey from hook up to break up, to friendship to love, full of surprises, detours, disappointments and longing. It is a voyage of self discovery, a revelation about what the heart wants and how to get there! You could just feel the emotions on every page…
Once again, Lisa Suzanne hits all the right notes!!! This is a standalone but is even more fun if you read her other rock star romances featuring Vail and MFB!
Confusion and uncertainty
“I can’t go round after round with you.”
With their back and forth I felt like a damn yoyo in my head trying to keep up, yet it wasn’t out of place for the storyline. Lisa Suzanne portrayed their confusion and uncertainty quite well!
Pretend or reality … or both?!
“He’s only saying it for the cameras. He’s pretending.”
My reaction?! Fake it til you make it .. and they better be making lots of it #makeupsex
I loved the road trip and all it entailed, even the all the perils of eating “on the road”
I really enjoyed Rascal’s mom’s humor and how Amber through it right back at her without missing a beat .. “you should have seen your face” LOL #priceless
I was so up and down with Amber and her reactions to Rascal’s shenanigans .. but when you’re a person who in so in your head and analyze EVERY LITTLE THING .. I kind of get it.
As always Lisa Suzanne managed to drop a bomb that I DID NOT SEE COMING!
As funny as Rascal has been I truly enjoyed his progression with bits of humor to show him maturing and being ready to be in a committed relationship!
Lisa Suzanne didn’t just take me on a road trip, she took me on a ride that I will not forget anytime soon. Rascal and Amber both drove me crazy and yet I couldn’t help but to fall more in love with them both!
Another great story from Lisa Suzanne! This is a standalone, but it’s definitely best to read the previous book as that story is pretty much the start of Amber’s and Will’s relationship. Told in dual POV, I love that we get to see the relationship from both sides, especially how the climatic event affected each of them and how they managed to deal with the repercussions. You could really feel the emotions and seeing how they handled it hits you in the feels.
Harper and Ridge touches your heart with their story. Leaona has woven a story that stirs your emotions into a frenzy from start to finish leaving you in awe. Once you start this amazing story it is hard to put down. I loved the dynamics of the characters and how they unfold within the story giving you the feeling of being right there with them as the story unfolds.
I love Lisa Suzanne’s books and this Rom Com will certainly entertain you. Will/Rascal and Amber are polar opposites, he a jokester rockstar and she is an ER Nurse. They have known each other for many years. Their story continues in this book after a mishap in Vegas. The reader is immediately sucked into Will and Amber’s journey. So buckle your seat belts as they start their road trip. It is, for sure, a roller coaster of the character’s emotions, that elicit the reader’s emotions as well, along their journey towards developing a relationship. I found myself laughing, a lot, fanning myself, and tearful at times during funny, sexy and frustrating or sad scenes. In these challenging days in our world today, reading Driving Me Crazy was a magnificent escape into Lisa Suzanne’s awesome, well written rockstar stories. I highly recommend this book and I can not wait for Kane’s story.
Falling for the complete opposite of herself.
This book is after Amber and Will hooked up in Vegas. Will and Adam are best friends and in the band MFB. Adam and Amber are sister and brother. Will is the only member of the band to not settle down because he is immature and acts childish. Amber wonders why she likes him but they signed a contract to be on a reality show for the band to go cross country. They fight and laugh but when he doesn’t something stupid he gets arrested. Will this be it for Amber and walk away? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I thought this story about Amber and Rascal was so enjoyable to read. Their journey was filled with so much emotion from both of them. From them trying to figure out where they wanted their future to go and the humorous scenes that happened along the way, I could not put this one down. This author is a favorite of mine!
Driving Me Crazy is a fun, laugh out loud rock star/ road trip romance with a little drama and angst mixed in! Will and Amber are total opposites, but bring out the best in each other. They ended up in the most hilarious of situations that had me laughing so hard!! I kinda felt bad for Will at first. He’s the jokester and the brunt of most jokes in his band MFB, but he wants to be taken seriously and get more out of life. I did not immediately connect with Amber. I thought she was really judgmental and a bit opinionated, but she eventually chilled out a little and grew on me. I loved the direction their story went and of course their HEA! Very excited to reconnect with them in Kane’s book!!
Can I just start off by saying I want more Amber and Will. I could care less if the other members are around Will has become my fav. Hes the misunderstood one that get’s looked over. I think thats why I’m drawn to him the most I want to see where he grows which I do in the story he grows into this amazing guy who Amber is one hell of a lucky lady to be with. I was ready to give up on this story half way through ok not so much as give up but just stop reading it I thought one thing and it ended up not happening that way (see what I did there no spoilers) and thank goodness for that. Lisa really did an amazing job with so many details from other stories and keeping them all together to makes this one in a million story. I recommend reading all the books before this one but you really don’t have to. Its that good no wait its that great. Jaw dropping scene have you on the edge waiting for more.
I really loved the story of Rascal (Will) and Amber. Although they are completely different, they are perfect together.
The attraction between Will and Amber is huge, but with some inconsequential attitudes from Will, she ends up deciding that they can’t work together. However, both had already signed a contract to a cross-country road trip.
The trip to Maine is not the best, as they barely talk and Will does his best to irritate her, but despite his attitudes, it’s understandable because he’s heartbroken.
The return of the trip to Maine brings surprises for both, as they have decided to open their hearts, and what a journey they have.
I loved the story and the characters are fantastic. I recommend the reading.
Amber and Will’s story began in the last book and continues with their own story in Driving Me Crazy. After their hookup in Vegas, Amber and Will continue to see each other. When Amber starts wanting more from the relationship and realizes that Will cannot give it to her, they “break up”. She is contracted to take a road trip with him and they have to pretend to still be a couple. Can these two find their way back to each other? LOVED their story and the growth they had on finding their way back together. I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it. GREAT STORY!
Will and Amber
Will is a member of the Rockband MFB. Amber is the sister to one of his band mates. One night in Vegas has a “relationship” blooming. Or is it just a friends with benefits idea/ Follow Will and amber on a road trip to find out just what they will become. I enjoyed the banter and jokes. Also the serious moments, the fun and flirty times. I had my oh i hate this moments as well. The story line is so wonderful. I was really hoping for more of a Happy end to the first half of their trip, but finding out the truth was a wonderful ending.
Driving Me Crazy is a terrific rock star RomCom by author Lisa Suzanne! I love, love, loved this story! It has the adorable but immature Will, AKA ‘Rascal’, who is the keyboardist for the popular band MFB, and Amber, a responsible and sometimes too inflexible ER Nurse and sister of bandmate Adam. These two opposites actually are crazy about each other, but breakup just before they are due to take a road trip as part of a reality show. Unfortunately, they both signed contracts with pretty steep fines if they break the contract, so they head out on a road trip of discovery, humor and lots of steam. This is a truly enjoyable read from beginning to end.
I think this is my favorite book in the series!! I love Will and amber together. This book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. I loved it so much, I didn’t want it to end.
This is Will and Amber’s book. Their relationship began in Waking Up Married (although not necessary to read prior to this one). However, I have been following all of the members of MFB since the beginning and Will (or Rascal) is probably the least interesting of them all because he’s this big goofball of a guy with out of control, crazy red hair and an immature personality to match. I thought of him as the band clown and it’s really hard to get me on board with someone who is the butt of the joke of a group and this would be Will. Granted, he got his hair cut to where it’s more in line with an appealing guy and according to Amber, he’s really attractive overall. I still wasn’t sold, but I think the parts that really had me feeling like I couldn’t be convinced was when he did something stupid in the beginning of this book based on a drunk bet, causing Amber to re-evaluate and wonder if she’s chaining herself to a complete man child and then his bitter and childish behavior towards her on the road trip. I know guys do stupid things and retaliate with tantrums, especially guys who haven’t grown up. But based on how little Will had going in my eyes, I needed him to step it up sooner. So instead of being so petulant, he could’ve approached the road trip as a challenge with trying to set out to prove Amber wrong and to show her what she could be missing by how awesome he was. I actually liked Amber, though, and didn’t quite understand why she felt so regretful or apologetic. But since Amber had deep feelings for Will, I had to resign myself to accepting him the way he was and I’ll admit that he improved somewhat towards the end and that he is authentic, but I’m not sure much could’ve been done to change my overall perspective of him based on the accumulation of all of the previous books. So while Will would never register as book boyfriend material for me, he means well and that does matter, so other MFB fans might love this book about the band’s Rascal.
I loved reading Rascal and Ambers story after reading their beginning in a previous book. Neither are looking for a relationship when they hook up, but life has other plans. Their lives are both chaotic, but when Rascal invites Amber on a road trip, neither are prepared for the ups and downs that will come with it. This was a great story and I’d recommend it.
Driving Me Crazy is the perfect title for Will and Amber’s story because these two drove me crazy waiting to see what would happen with their relationship. From hot and sexy to cold and angsty as their spontaneous road trip turns into a road trip from hell. The tension was high and I wanted to scream at them both and yell “you belong together, stop being so stubborn!!”
“She’s scared-terrified-of what the future holds for the two of us, and that realization helps lay one brick of trust in the house she tore through like a tornado a few days ago.”
With all of my beloved MFB members and of course Mark Ashton popping up in Driving Me Crazy my rock star rom com is complete, a complete success that is!
I loved finding out what happened between Rascal and Amber.
Finally we get Amber and Will’s story, I have been dying to read this. This book definitely gave me ALL the feels, I even shed a few tears, but more importantly it made me giggle and fall in love with love. These two show us opposites really do attract and compromise is needed to make a relationship work. Amazing 5 plus star read!
If you remember in the last book, Will and Amber (Adam’s sister) hooked up in Las Vegas. Will is the last MFB member of the band to find love. But I think Will is so immature, I can see why he hasn’t found love. He kind of got on my nerves while he was on a trip with Amber. I know Amber really hurt Will, but neither one was very mature how they handled what happened. I think after Amber gave him a few home truths, he started thinking about how he acts. I was glad to see his mom didn’t coddle him when he talked to her about his feelings. I felt bad for Amber in some news that she had. I was glad to see that they both began to mature more when they were traveling. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
