“Edgy, steamy, action packed, and plotted with nail-biting tension…”–Library Journal, Starred ReviewIn the harsh Northern Waste where human life is worth little, ice trucker Raina Bowen has learned to keep her eyes open and her knife close at hand. She’s spent her life on the run, one step ahead of the megalomaniac who hunts her. All she wants is to stay out of trouble and haul her load of … load of grain to Gladow Station—but trouble finds her in the form of a sexy stranger called Wizard. He has the trucking pass she needs, and she has to drag him out of a brawl with the very people she’s trying to hide from in order to get it.
She may have rescued him, but Raina’s not foolish enough to see Wizard as anything close to helpless. He’s hard and honed and full of secrets—secrets that may destroy them both. As they race across the Waste, trying to outrun rival truckers, ice pirates, and the powerful man bent on their destruction, Raina’s forced to admit that trouble’s found her. And this time, there’s nowhere left to run.

A western, although set in a dystopian arctic, with male super anti-hero and naif heroine. Fun read and one of the few SF books that handles sex with any degree of openness. The ending promises more of the same — bad guy, good guy(s), who will win?
Unusual setting, realistic and well done
Driven was an interesting book, very interesting premise. Given the choice I may have gave it 3 1/2 stars instead of three. It didn’t grab as fast as some of the apocalyptic stuff does but I did finish it . I personally will not be picking up any of the sequels but it was an interesting read . If the price is right it’s worth it. A lot of sexual …
Very interesting.
like most self-publicized books, this one too, needs a good editor.
Very good at keeping you in suspense. Couldn’t put it down.
I found the sex scenes to be unrealistic, otherwise this was a very good story.
Great futuristic story with hot hero and heroine. Could not put it down resulting in late nites!
A bit too violent for me.
I didn’t care for this story. Characters just weren’t believable and the world wasn’t built up enough at the beginning. Maybe just me.
Excellent. Very thought provoking. Makes you wonder about what our world could become
Couldn’t get through the first chapter. Too cheesy and predictable.
The action was good, but waaaay to much time on mental lust exercises and the the sex scene was really drawn out. Really lost interest in the plot and don’t tink I will finish.
Couldn’t wait to pick it up each day!
It wasn’t what I was expecting and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Loved the characters and storyline kept you entertained.
Excellent book. Read it last year and its an interesting take on a distopian future. I was impressed.
Great book with a unique post-apocalyptic story line. I was riveted
I loved this book! The main characters were great..
