Drive Me Crazy by Samantha Chase is an awesome start to the new series Road Tripping. This is a great opposites attract story. Ms. Chase wrote a wonderful story which drew me right in, making me forget everything else and did not let me go until I turned the last page. This is one of those books that once you pick it up you don’t put down until you turn the last page. The story is very well written and the characters are well defined and very likable. This was a fun book to read it definitely made me laugh. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
What starts out as Grace Mackie’s worst day of her life, may also be a blessing in disguise.
On her wedding day, Grace finds out that her finance is having an affair with his assistant.
His plan was to marry Grace so he would secure a promotion at work, then divorce her and then marry his pregnant girlfriend.
Since there are no flights available, Grace decides to drive cross country to go home.
As she is trying to rent a car, she meets Finn Kavanagh, who is having his own bad day. He was left stranded, after his brother stole his car.
The two of them decide to share the only vehicle the rental agency had left.
This is where the adventure begins.
4.5 Stars
Another book in the Road Tripping Series gives us laughter, sweetness and moments of yelling at the characters. Grace and Finn cross paths in the most non traditional of ways and wind up partners on a road trip neither one expected to take. Throughout their adventure they learn a lot about each other but more importantly about themselves. Two people who are opposite in so many ways but fit together like pieces of a puzzle, they will make you believe that some people are really just meant to be. Of course there are times you wish you could give them a tap on the forehead to wake them up and tell them to stop being stubborn, but in the end, the HEA every reader wants, is given.

Grace and Finn’s story in Drive Me Crazy, book one in Samantha Chase’s new Road Tripping series, is a wonderful, sexy, and humourous tale of dealing with family and finding love when you least expect it. After discovering her fiancé proposed only to obtain a promotion, has been cheating on her, and knocked up his assistant, Grace Mackie knew she needed to escape from her destination wedding; the one he wanted them to have. Fleeing the resort in her wedding gown, leaving behind her luggage, Grace just wants to get home. All flights are canceled, so her only option is to drive across the country in a rental car. While on a brother bonding trip, Finn Kavanaugh has been stranded without his car or credit card; because his brother took off with both. Not the best way to bond, right? Now Finn needs to find a way to get home. Best bet is to get a rental car to drive cross country. Both Grace and Finn, two strangers, arrive at the car rental agency at the same time and discovering there was only one car. Neither of them expected their trip would come with a surprise passenger. But desperate times lead to infinite possibilities and a cross-country road trip.
There’s a magnetic attraction between Finn and Grace from the beginning and their chemistry is off the charts. From the beginning, Grace sensed that Finn was a good guy; someone she could trust. From their talks, games, arguments, and playlists, Grace and Finn learned more about each other than couples who date for years; allowing feelings to grow between them. After dropping Finn off, Grace wondered how it was it possible for her heart to hurt more watching him walk away than a week ago when she walked away from her own wedding. Both Grace and Finn decided that love was more than just having mutual respect for one another. It was when your heart raced every time that person walked into a room or phoned long distance. It was truly possible to happen between two strangers.
Ms. Chase wrote a wonderful, heartwarming and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, out loud laughs, and charming characters giving Grace and Finn the love and happiness needed for a forever together. I highly recommend Drive Me Crazy to other readers and look forward to reading the next book in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Road trip shenanigans
Forced proximity
Grand gesture
Fun start to a new series
Finn and Grace are both having a terrible day and just want to get home…too bad there’s only one rental car. They quickly realize they have chemistry but neither is sure about a long distance relationship.
I really loved the road trip adventures and get to know you talks shared by Finn and Grace. The amount time of they spent together made it feel a little less insta love, although there’s still an element of it to be sure. And Finn’s grand gesture was so perfect!
Samantha Chase is a favorite of mine for fun, low angst, sexy but not too steamy romances and I’m very excited for this new series.
I received a complimentary review copy of this book but all opinions are my own.
Miles fly by as sporty, aerodynamic matches with dependable, well engineered …
What happens when you decide to leave your fiancé … one your wedding day …. in your bridal finery … without your luggage … across the country from family and friends and end up in a rental car lot in a deluge, fighting over the last car?
Grace is in a pickle and Finn is too. Each one, for different, yet extraordinary reasons, ends up in that rental car lot. They decide to join forces and drive cross country to get back home.
Drive Me Crazy first on all cylinders and it’s a perfect example of why Samantha Chase is such a powerhouse author. The characters are relatable and the story is realistic and well developed. We’re treated to steamy scenes set in familiar cities as our pair makes their way back east and soul baring conversations as each of them work through the issues that led them into their current situation.
Grace is a fun loving former bride who gets some hard truths about her former fiancé served up in the most “slap you in the face” way you can imagine. She’s hurt, embarrassed, and is planning on using the time it takes to drive across country back home to lick her wounds and get her head back on straight.
Finn, a rigid guy who always has a solid plan and back up plan, is reeling from a big fight with his fun-loving irresponsible, “live in the moment” brother. He was abandoned without his car and needs a way back home to his business.
Drive Me Crazy is a story about what happens when two people, with different approaches to life, come together to drive back home amid growing attraction and realization that as a couple, they may have a future. It’s the first book in a series, and I’m on standby, anxiously awaiting the next book!
Download this book now! You’ll be happy you did. I received an ARC. This is my honest review
Samantha Chase
If you’re looking to find your smile, Drive Me Crazy is the place for you. Gracie and Finn light up the canvas as only Samantha Chase can. What starts off like a country song becomes the sweetest of romantic comedy. Two strangers on the run from heartache and life are finding that happily ever after is only a road trip away. Escapism at it’s finest.
I absolutely adored every little thing about this story!! What a great start to this new series! From the writing (side note: Samantha Chase never disappoints) to the humor, fun, sweetness and sexiness, I was highly entertained throughout! Finn and Grace are two amazing and lovable characters and I was cheering for them the whole time to figure things out once their road trip ended. Wasn’t sure if they could get there but then Finn got some advice from a very unlikely source. I loved this book and this couple so much! If you are looking for a fun read, look no further.
Great opposites attract story!! This was such a great story!! Grace and Finn were so much fun to get to know. I loved how both of them brought the best out in each other meanwhile driving each other crazy. Grace had me smiling all the way through with her enthusiasm for fun and letting go. And when she got Finn to step out of himself and see the world through her eyes it was AWESOME!! This is not your normal road trip story. It kept me interested, engaged and was so much fun to read I couldn’t put it down. Great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read the next story.
What happens when a bride, Grace, has a bad day and runs out on her wedding, runs into Finn, who’s also having a bad day? You have a great story that’s what you have! Follow these two as they try to forget the events that brought them together, and learn more about each other. Will they like each other once they got to know each other?
I enjoyed this story, it was so enjoyable with Grace and the way she was, and how she’s trying to loosen up Finn! Grab this story, 5 road trip stars for it! I can’t wait for more in this series!!
If there’s one thing this author has taught me, it’s that detailed behind-closed-door scenes don’t necessarily equate to chemistry between the main characters. Chase’s are all pretty much fade to black, but oh, my gourd, I can feel the chemistry jumping off the page and seeping into my heart. And that live spark between the hero and heroine are a big part in making me connect with the characters and become invested in their story.
Grace Mackie needs to rent a car. Not only did she find out, mere minutes before her wedding, that her fiancé was cheating on her, but she ran out in just her wedding dress and can’t bear to wait until the next morning for a flight home. And the icing on her uneaten wedding cake? There’s only one vehicle left, and it looks like she’ll have to share the drive from one side of the country to the other.
Finn Kavanagh thought it would be a good idea to take a road trip with his irresponsible, immature younger brother. He was hoping for an opportunity to bond with his brother, maybe offer a few words of wisdom, and help his brother get his life on track. Instead, he gets stranded when his brother swipes Finn’s car and heads to Vegas. And now the very responsible, unadventurous Finn finds himself driving across the country with a hot mess named Grace.
When I first saw this premise of road tripping across the country, I wondered if the book might not be a little boring at times. Silly me. I should have known Chase would pull it off without a hitch because she hasn’t let me down yet, and this book is the polar opposite of boring. It’s humorous and fun, entertaining and engaging, and sweet and heartfelt. Run to the 1-Click, because you won’t want to miss this road trip with Grace and Finn!
Her wedding day should have been the happiest day of her life but when Gracie finds out her soon to be husband is not all he seemed to be she walks away right before she was to walk down the aisle. A road trip should be a time to connect but when his brother steals the car and leaves Finn stranded, he has no choice but to find a new ride home. With only one rental left, Gracie and Finn embark on a cross country trip home. When they finally reach home, simply walking away from each other is the perfect plan, but can they both do this? This insta-spark romance is filled with humor, adventure and a chance to break out of their comfort zones and find their own version of a HEA. I fell in love with Gracie and Finn and did not want to see the road trip end. I wonderful storyline to kick off what will most likely be another fabulous series for Samantha Chase.
Road trip you will never forget.
Grace is ready to get married, or not, decision is easy to make, when she finds out that her fiancée is cheating on her. She leaves hotel wearing wedding gown and her purse.
Finn’s brother left him, taking Finn’s car and credit card.
Both of them meet at the car rental place with only one car available. The decide on a trip together.
What a trip. What happen at the end of the trip?
I loved storyline and both Grace and Finn, I even liked Dave at the end of the book.
I truly loved everything about the

A romantic story that pulls on your
heartstrings from start to finish.
It’s captivating, fun, sexy & moving.

A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!
There is something magical about Samantha Chase. The world’s she creates is beyond anything I’ve ever seen. Everytime she writes, her words dance right into my heart forevermore. Her books leave me wanting more.
In Drive Me Crazy, we are introduced to a new series. I just love road trips. In Drive Me Crazy we are introduced to Grace Mackie and Finn Kavanaugh. Grace and Finn are totally opposites. Just when Grace thinks noone could possibly have a worse day than her and in walks Finn to prove her wrong. Both needing something. Only one car. Let the road trip begin.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I laughed at their time on the road. My heart broke a bit for Grace. I felt heart swooning moments. I couldn’t put the book down. I read it in one night. I just fell right into an the story as if I were actually there. Amazing introduction to a new series. Grace and Finn have me wrapped. Loving it. So much fun. Perfection at it’s best.
I listened to the audio version of this book. Drive Me Crazy is a cute, hot romance that is an easy, fast read that will entertain you. It’s funny and romantic and so much fun!
Samantha Chase new series starts with a runaway bride and deserted man left by his brother. It was such a funny and very entertaining story. I truly enjoyed Finn and Grace’s cross county story and you can’t help falling for these 2 characters and cheering them on. Grace is so chatty and witty and drives Finn crazy, you can’t help but love that girl. I can’t wait for the next story in Road Tripping series, I’m sure it will be as amazing as the first book was.
Another awesome book. I loved this story and already know I’m going to love this series. It’s a wonderful start to the series, so entertaining and kept me turning those pages. It had everything from sizzling chemistry to a bit of drama to all the emotional feel for me. I loved getting to know Gracie and Finn as much as the characters loved to get to know each other. Drive Me Crazy
Road Tripping book 1
Samantha Chase
This is the first book in Samantha’s newest series, and I’m super excited for it. New storyline’s, new characters what’s not to love….? As each story brings new characters, Drive Me Crazy brings Grace Mackie and Finn Kavanagh, two soles with their lives turned upside down, and a cross country trip to end all trips.
Grace has just run away from her wedding after discovering her almost husband, cheating on her. Stuck in Lake Tahoe, no airport close by, and the need to get home, driving is her only option. But first she must get away in an Uber… It’s all fun and games in a wedding dress, and very little other possessions.
Finn has decided a trip with his brother will sort their problems, make him grow up, instead after a killer fight, he’s stuck with no car, no clothes and no way back home to Atlanta. Now extremely irritated he arrives at a car rental place to hire a car to get home and kill his brother.
Little do Finn and Grace know, that fateful meeting will change their lives forever. With only one car available, they decide to begrudgingly take the trip together. This pair could not be anymore different and it is spending days together non stop do they discover she drives him crazy with her antics, music sand sass, but level headed Finn is all about organisation, everything on time…. Yeah that’s gone out the window in a couple of days.
In a journey to return to their perspective homes, it’s their emotional journey that’s special. Both have skeletons, and sometimes a soundboard with no expectations opens up those wounds to create a new life… Finn and Grace will laugh, cry, love and leave. It’s not without drama but this story was everything I’d hoped for.
A humourous, sexy and thoroughly engaging story about a run-away bride’s cross country road trip home and the hot and funny mechanic she shares it with.
This was one of the sweetest and funniest stories I have read in a long time. I loved the interplay between the fun-loving Grace and the unfailingly practical Finn. Their chemistry is hot, fun and the kind of tale you just don’t want to have to put down.
I loved it.
