5 DRIVE ME CRAZY STARS!! Fantastic is all I can say!! This story was perfection from beginning to the end. Finn and Grace’s story will have you smiling and feeling everything they go through. This is the first book in this new series and Samantha Chase has outdone herself with this one. This is the perfect time to start this series.
Grace can’t think of anything but getting away when she discovers her groom not only is marrying her to be a guarantee for a promotion but he’s also knocked up his assistant.
Finn is on a ‘bonding’ trip with his brother when his brother leaves him stranded stealing his car.
They both arrive at the car rental place only to discover there is only one vehicle left, a truck. They decide to share. Their adventure begins. Grace would like to enjoy the trip to the fullest by site seeing along the way. At first it drives Finn insane and by the end of the trip he even makes sure Grace sees/visits all the places she wanted to.
These two are hilarious together and have a great chemistry. Finn likes schedules and is pretty closed up as a person. Through Grace he loosens up and lets himself enjoy their trip. Through Finn Grace realizes she wasn’t really in love with her fiancé. Grace and her sarcastic tshirts are my type of girl!
There is a great build up of the chemistry between these two that you have no doubt that they’re going to give into their attraction and it will be just the beginning for these two.
This is a wonderful well written book.
Drive Me Crazy is book RoadTripping series by Samantha Chase. And let me tell you in already crazy about this series!!!
When Grace finds out her fiancé is cheating, her future isn’t as planned out as she thought it would be. When Finn’s trip with his brother goes a bit crazy, Finn is left without his car. So the best option for these two of course a shared road tripping trip.
Sharing a road trip with a stranger, spending time with a compete stranger might not seem like a good idea, but for Grace and Finn they are up for the challenge. I ADORED these two. Samantha Chase always gives us characters who have the right about of banter, and sexual heat to keep me laughing at times, and fanning myself at others.
Drive me Crazy was a fantastic 5 star read and a great way to start this series!!
Absolutely perfect! Grace was all set to walk down the aisle and marry a man who betrayed her when she ran…in her wedding dress with no luggage…and needs to get home. She turns up at the car rental and there is only one car and another man wants it. Finn is also stranded…by his brother…and needs to get home. Two stranded strangers and one car, the only solution is to share. A cross country trip between strangers who are not strangers for long. This was so much fun. So much chemistry and romance and just plain good romance. By the time they reach home and plan to go their separate ways will they be able to? Definitely a great start to this new series and definitely get a high recommendation from me!
What a thoroughly enjoyable, fresh and unique story this turned out to be! Grace had so much personality that I wanted to jump into the story and be her friend! It was frikkin delightful I tell ya! And a really easy read. It was emotional when it needed to be, but never heavy. Their personalities just didn’t call for it and Samantha Chase nailed it all around with this one! Well done!
This is the first book in a new series by the wonderful Ms Chase and I must say that this book was the perfect way to kick off a series. On the worst day of Grace’s life she had no idea that a decision made in haste would change her whole life. Finn has been tricked by his brotheragain. After thinking they were going on a road trip to bond as brother’s he’s stranded in Carson City after his brother stole his car and took off. He needs to get home to Atlanta to his business. Fate works in mysterious ways. Two strangers ,one car and a cross country trip what’s the worst that can happen? Ms. Chase really is the BEST at writing relatable characters. I LOVED the premise of putting two strangers in a car for days on end the possibilities are endless especially when said people are polar opposites. You really need to read this book and go on Finn and Grace’s road trip with them it was fun. I CAN’T WAIT for the next book in this series. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book.
Funny and steamy, Drive Me Crazy is a great start to this new series!
Grace’s plans for a beautiful wedding are dashed when she finds out her fiance isn’t the man she thought he was. Desperate to get away from the disastrous situation, she tries to rent a car only to meet a guy with worse luck than hers. Finn thought he was going on a bonding trip with his wayward brother, only to be ditched at their hotel. Desperate to chase him down, Finn runs into a hot mess in a wedding dress. There’s only one car to rent and only one solution: road trip!
I laughed so hard at these two as they tried to make their way across the US without killing each other, or falling in love.
Opposites attract in this fantastic new book by Samantha Chase. I can’t wait for the rest of this series!!
4.5 Stars! Grace and Finn were a fun read! I love that this series is all stand alones and not part of a typical series, just sharing a theme of Road trips. How fun! Grace leaves her fiance at the alter when she finds out he’s got a girlfriend at home and plans to divorce Grace after he gets his promotion. She runs in to Finn when they both need a rental car…the last one. Finn’s brother stole his car and left him stranded in Carson City. He agrees to car-share with Grace and before long he’s falling for her even though she is so different from him. It’s a great story with fun characters. I hope you enjoy it too!
Welcome to a new world! This is the Road Tripping series by Samantha Chase, who is one of my favorite-I -stalk- her-everyday writers. Drive Me Crazy starts this series with Grace, the disgraced bride to be, and Finn, the “always right” brother.
Grace found out just minutes before her wedding her fiancee had not only been using her, he also got his assistant pregnant and planned to divorce Grace after he got a promotion due to her help. When she decided to run, she just took off, dress and all. Exactly how she was going to get away wasn’t that planned.
Finn had taken a road trip for brother bonding. Then said brother decided he had enough and took Finn’s car but left Finn to bond with himself. Not the week he had planned.
The adventures and misadventures of a cross country trip with two complete strangers has all kinds of possibilities. When the antics also get real personal, it becomes much more than a convenient ride. Both of them realize things about themselves and help the other see that road trips are not always a bad thing. Keep it coming….we need another playlist!
Is there anything worse than finding out on your wedding day that your fiancé is cheating on you? Not in my opinion, but Finn Kavanaugh thinks he’s having a bad day, with his car stealing younger brother. Then he meets Grace Mackle, and realizes she wins that unfortunate contest!
Since both need to get back to the east coast from California, they decide to share the last car rental and road trip it home. It can these seemingly opposites compromise and not kill each other in the process?
Chase blows this romantic comedy out of the water with both wildly funny banter and some crazy sightseeing stops that Grace sort of pushes Finn to do. Both of these very likable characters grabbed me from page one and didn’t allow me to put down their story. While I’ve read most of not all of this author’s books, I can’t remember laughing as much as I did throughout Drive Me Crazy.
If the rest of the series is as entertaining as book one, old and new fans are in for a delicious treat!
Who knew a road trip with a stranger could be so fun?
Finn & Grace are thrown together by circumstances neither had much control of. They decide to make the best of the situation and road trip home together. Little did they know that all that time spent in the small confines of a pickup truck would lead to love????
Such a fun read that really shows us that communication and really getting to know each other is a great basis for a long lasting relationship.
Can’t wait for more road trips!
4.5 stars / I received this book as a free ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is the start of a NEW series from Samantha Chase!
I thought this was a really cute story. Strangers road tripping together is (in the real world) probably a terrible idea, but it made for a fun plot and being stuck in a car for hours on end definitely makes you get to know another person!
Grace & Finn have both had a terrible day when the story starts – it can only get better as they drive cross country together!
This book was a perfect start to the new series RoadTripping, by Samantha Chase. This story was a fun ride from beginning to end and I totally fell in love with Grace and Finn. From their initial meeting at the car rental lot (with only one car left for 2 people) and following them through their adventures with Walmart, hotels, the food (especially all the tacos), the fun sightseeing and of course you can’t have a road trip without the amazing music and seat dancing that goes along with that and of course I loved the mention of High School Musical and the accompanying routine, that was so awesome. I seriously wanted to be along on the adventure with them. Of course, I have to mention Dave and Jared, since we have them to thank for helping these two to find each other and the only car left in Carson City. I am glad that Dave seems to be on his way to finding himself and something productive to do. This book was such a fun story to read and it was definitely a great start to this new series. One of my favorite quotes from this book is, “Didn’t you know? I’m like a little ray of sunshine swooping down to rescue damsels in distress.” Great story, loved it!
Grace and Finn. Wow. I absolutely loved them. They did not come together under the greatest of circumstances which leads to the ‘battle of who had the worst day’…honestly? Coin toss – though I’d probably side with Grace on that one. The constant pushing each other’s buttons was well written and flowed perfectly, not to mention the chemistry between them! I could totally understand Finn’s rigidness as well as Grace’s sudden whimsical side. Once they got over their differences and learned how to enjoy each other’s company they had a blast. But it’s a road trip with an end date…nothing real can happen that quick right? Join the ride and see how they find stumble through finding something real on a really bad day.
What started out as the best day of her life turned into the worst! Grace couldn’t believe she walked out of her own wedding, without evening changing from the dress! When she couldn’t find a flight home for that night, she decided to rent a car & drive home. At least that way she wouldn’t have to deal with the jerk she left standing at the alter. It wouldn’t be so bad or so she thought before it started to rain & she found out the car rental just had one vehicle left – a pickup.
Finn had tried to give his brother the benefit of a second (or third) chance and what did that give him? Stranded in Carson City after his brother stole his car & drove away. Finn had to rent a car to try to track his brother & get his car back. He needed to get back to Atlanta & his business but couldn’t let Dave get away with it. Too bad that it started raining & there was only one vehicle left.
This was a fun, entertaining read! Ms. Chase gives her readers characters that are well developed & easy to like & identify with. The things that can happen when you trap two strangers in a car for days are endless, especially when their differences grate on each other’s nerves. The attraction slowly grows but the close confines makes it stronger. I really can’t wait to see where Ms. Chase takes this series next!
All the heart and humour…
I had no idea when I started Finn and Grace’s story how much I would LOVE it. Steamy, funny with heart to spare, this was a road trip I’m so glad I made with them both…
They were having horrible, horrible, no good days yet things turned around when they met and started an adventure neither could have imagined. Grace was stoic in her shock and grief and Finn too handled his own setbacks with remarkable composure. From a practical point, they faced their road trip with clinical detachment. Of course that was soon all out the window when irresistible personalities shone through and shenanigans were had… Grace poked the bear until even Finn couldn’t help but relent. A stick in the mud on the surface, perhaps, he had no defenses against a woman who left him with none. Their conversations were a balance of humour and raw emotion as their road trip meant close quarters and an intimacy that felt so, so right.
From start to finish, I loved their journey – both emotional and geographical – that hit every high and low note of an unforgettable car trip. I laughed, and may have sniffled on occasion at the sweetness of it all, as these two fell in love and brought me happily along for the ride.

This was such an excellent story to start off this new series. It was entertaining, so incredibly sweet, filled with sizzling chemistry, a bit of drama, and a lot of emotion as two strangers down on their luck make a connection on a road trip, that just might change their whole life.
There is definitely more to Gracie Mackie than meets the eye and I loved her story, and her journey. She is such a survivor, so caring, chatty, spontaneous and after what she has been through, flying by the seat of her pants, making the most of every new situation. I loved her spunk.
Finn Kavanagh wasn’t what I expected either. From that very first scene of them meeting and connecting you could tell he was just a genuinely responsible, good guy. But a little too uptight and rigid. It was wonderful how he was there for Gracie, and changed into this sweet, selfless and sexy guy.
What these two shared was really incredible. A great combination of hotness and emotion, that was filled full of sexy, entertaining fun and a life changing road trip that was over to fast. Excellent Read!

DRIVE ME CRAZY is the first instalment in Samantha Chase’s contemporary, adult ROAD TRIPPING romance series. This is thirty year old, auto mechanic Finn Kavanaugh, and twenty-eight year old, career advisor Grace Mackie.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Finn and Grace) DRIVE ME CRAZY follows the building relationship and romance between thirty year old, auto mechanic Finn Kavanaugh, and twenty-eight year old, career advisor Grace Mackie. On the day of Grace’s wedding to her now ex-fiance Jared, our heroine would discover that Jared had not been faithful for months. Desperate to get out of Lake Tahoe, Grace would find herself at a local car rental where the lone remaining truck was about to be her only means of travel for the next several days but Grace never expected to be sharing the ride with auto mechanic Finn Kavanaugh. Finn Kavanaugh was currently stranded in Lake Tahoe when his brother Dave decided to ‘steal’ his car, leaving our hero without a means to get home. Afraid of flying, Finn would have to share the last remaining vehicle with a woman who would slowly wrap around his heart. What ensues is the cross-country journey of Finn and Grace, and the fall-out when their time together comes to a close.
Grace Mackie wants to enjoy life, and her trip cross country with Finn Kavanaugh is the perfect time to travel and tour but Finn struggles in the face of his brother’s betrayal, and the woman he believes should be grieving the loss of her love. As the journey gathers momentum, our couple explore the country’s most popular attractions, as well as exploring one another’s bodies. Their connection is not immediate but the sexual attraction and chemistry is palpable. The $ex scenes are all implied.
The secondary and supporting characters are limited to Finn’s troubled brother Dave, as well as Grace’s ex-fiance Jared, and her mother back home.
DRIVE ME CRAZY is a sweet story; a slow burn but passionate romance with an animated couple, and a happily ever after.
This was a cute and funny read. Finn and Grace weren’t necessarily opposites, but they definitely completed something the other was missing. They also went outside their comfort zone with the other, and that led to some interesting conversations and situations. Of course, all great road trips come to end, and that is where all the feels come for these two, and just when it all seems lost, it all works out. Lots of giggles and moments to smile, and an HEA from a grand gesture, makes a great journey!
