Narrated by C.J. Bloom. I loved the audiobook format for this book, as the narrator is very expressive and has a good voice that is pleasant.
Grace Mackie didn’t plan for her wedding day to go this way. Her fiancé convinced her to forego her dream wedding that would have had friends and family present. So she’s in Vegas and she overhears that her groom is just using her to get a promotion and is planning to divorce her in 6 months to marry his assistant who is now pregnant with his baby. To make matters worse, as she ditches the ceremony, she feels she has to share the last rental car with a stranger and she is still wearing her wedding dress. Finn Kavanagh’s bad day just got worse. His brother took off with his car and stranded him on the west coast. Sharing a car with someone who is likely to be a chatterbox is not his idea of fun, especially as this is the first vacation he has had in years. These two characters are lovable, but they know how to annoy each other. This book is entertaining, as I stayed interested in wanting the story to end well. I laughed and rooted for the two to find a way to stay together.
EEEk! I was SO excited for this read. It was a trope I hadn’t read a lot of and I absolutely enjoyed every word. These past few weeks i have been diving into the best books ever and this book was top shelf.
Shared road tripping, YES. I loved seeing Finn and Grace get throw together by the universe and this trip was perfection. They had the best banter ever and the fact hat you got to know them WHILE they got to know each other was the best. I loved seeing their barriers slowly fall.
I laughed so much during this book that I swear it might have set a new personal record. Don’t get me wrong, this book had ALL THE SWOON, but it was truly a rom-com for the ages.
A fantastic start to the new series!
Grace and Finn’s road trip and romance is a great read. I enjoyed their story from beginning to the end. Grace and Finn’s story flowed well and dealt with issues without getting bogged down.
First, I love road trips myself so I knew this would be an exciting read for me, as the first in a new series from one of my favorite authors, Samantha Chase. It starts out with the poor lead female, Grace, in her wedding day and just not feeling it. It feels wrong to her, with all decisions made by her fiancé. Then she finds out he’s not what she thought, having done some pretty bad deeds. She ends up trying to get away from the destination he was determined to have their wedding at, Lake Tahoe. This is how she ends up meeting Finn. And the story goes from there as Finn is also escaping a terrible situation his brother put him in. The two end up on a road trip together to get away and the sparks fly from there. It’s like a great movie I’d love to watch!
This is the first book in Samantha’s new series and it was so much fun! Both Grace and Finn had horrible things happen to them: Grace found out her fiance was a cheater & user, only wanting to marry her to get a job promotion while Finn’s brother stole his car. Both Grace & Finn tried to rent a car but there was only one so they went on a road trip together to get home. They have such different personalities and at times they cracked me up. I definitely cannot wait til the next book in the series comes out.
In Samantha Chase’s newest book Drive Me Crazy AND newest series (Roadtripping) we meet Grace and Finn. Grace has just run out on her almost wedding to a real jerk. Finn has been stranded when his brother steals his car. It is fair to say that both of their days have been terrible. Both head to the local and only car rental place to rent a car and of course, there is only one left. They agree to share the driving as he makes his way back to Atlanta and she goes to South Carolina. They get to know each other and both loosen up and learn to enjoy the situation and each other. Two people thrown together from disaster heading across the country together? Especially when they have such chemistry? The ride is only half the fun that these two have. I truly enjoyed getting to know the characters and all of the references to places and songs. Thank you Samantha for always writing such fantastic books!
Grace Mackie ends up getting a big surprise that causes her to run off and end up in a road trip with a stranger.
Finn Kavanagh is not very happy with his little brother especially after he steals Finn’s car, leaving Finn stranded. Never did he guess he would end up in a cross country road trip with a beautiful stranger.
Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved Driving Me Crazy!! It was so fun and so sweet! It gave my butterflies a few times. It was the perfect mixture of sweet, sassy and sexy. The characters were amazing and the story line was very original, not like anything else I have read before. Such a fun idea. Makes me want to go on a road trip like this. I would highly recommend reading Drive Me Crazy!!
She’s running from her lying cheating fiance minutes before the wedding. He’s just trying to get home after his brother steals his car. They meet at the car rental office and find they only have one old truck left to rent. After much back and forth they decide to share. What could possibly go wrong? Two completely different people sharing a cross country road trip. A great start to a new series but one of my go-to authors Samantha Chase. It has all the feels. You’ll laugh, cry and go awww. I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it.
Loved, loved this book. Two strangers, one car and a five day road trip. This is the perfect read to take you to your happy place with many laugh out moments. A road trip that you can take in your house. Who doesn’t want to visit Las Vegas! Loved the banter between Grace and Finn. Great sexual chemistry between Finn and Grace. Loved how Finn stepped up in the end. This is a road trip that you don’t want to miss!
Sexy, fun, laugh out Loud, action packed, crazy journey filled with emotional thrills and heart racing twists. Really enjoyed the engaging charters, witty banter and heartwarming unexpected passion. Excellent way to spend an evening.
Two people stranded with only one rental vehicle for them both to use. What could go wrong? What could go right?
Grace and Finn are so opposite each other. Grace is carefree, looking for fun, and a risk-taker. Finn plays it safe and doesn’t really want any adventures. They are made for each other. Grace pulls Finn out of his shell while Finn pulls Grace back from the edge. I loved seeing how they complimented each other. They fought, the enjoyed, and they had adventures. With each new town, they found something unique to do and saw the sights while learning more about each other and growing their friendship into something more.
Drive Me Crazy is a sweet and sexy story with so many laugh out loud moments. I enjoyed meeting Finn and Gracie.
Drive me Crazy!
OMG! This book had it all for me! Finn is stranded after his good-for-nothing brother steals his car and his credit card during their bonding road trip! There’s nothing he’d rather do than get home and back to work. But he refuses to fly, so he goes to a car rental to try to get a vehicle to get him home. Grace, is also having a rough day, after discovering her fiancé is only marrying her for a promotion, and he has knocked up his assistant! She sneaks out of her wedding, leaving him to deal with the consequences. With only her wedding dress and a desire for a long trip home to avoid her ex, she too is looking for a rental car! Both of their days gets worse by the fact there is only 1 vehicle available!
Their journey across country and into each other’s hearts is full of banter, road trip music, hilarious escapades in Vegas, and a HEA to make you swoon. Highly recommended!
I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.
I very much enjoyed Samantha Chase’s “Drive Me Crazy,” a cute, sweet, and fun novel featuring likeable, well-developed main characters, Grace and Finn. There was a bit of an insta-love feel to their relationship, which isn’t my favorite, but in this case it worked for me because of the amount of time they had to spend together while driving cross country. The forced proximity gave Finn and Grace an opportunity to get to know each other pretty well in a short period of time, flaws and all.
Grace was very outgoing, sweet, and fun, and I really liked the way she teased Finn and tried to get him to break out of his comfort zone. Her ability to quickly get to know and understand other people is likely one of the things that made her so good at her job as a career coach, and it was amusing to see her turn some of those skills on Finn in a personal setting.
Finn really needed someone like Grace to help him understand that it was OK to deviate from his plans sometimes. For example, when they started out on their trip, he was very rigid and insisted on sticking to a driving schedule each day. With Grace pushing him, however, Finn began to loosen up and came to realize that the world wouldn’t end if they took some time for sightseeing along the way. His new outlook carried over into other parts of his life, helping him improve his relationship with his younger brother, Dave, and figure out a way to have a permanent relationship with Grace.
Overall, I recommend “Drive Me Crazy” and look forward to seeing what happens in the next book of the series.

Drive Me Crazy is an adventure you’ll enjoy with every page! This story will have you wanting to make an epic road trip playlist while cruising with a friend. Such an amazing story of two very different personalities, coming to find out what they truly want in life. Grace is carefree and finally embracing her freedom, while Finn is starting to let loose a little and learning to be a bit spontaneous. Two very strong personalities that invite you along for the road trip of a lifetime. A great start to a new series from Samantha Chase!
This was such a fun book to read.. Grace and Finn r two different people that have to spend time together driving back home. Grace is a personal coach to those who seek better positions in there work. It was her wedding day to Jared, he was a client at first but it soon became more. While working on Jared’s new image they became involved. Jared had asked for her hand and suggested a destination wedding, little did Grace know that it wouldn’t turn out to be a wonderful day. She had over heard Jared talking on the phone to his assistant and found that he has been seeing her and that she was pregnant with his child. She had heard enough and went back to her room and grabbed what she could and left.
Finn was on a road trip with his brother, he had hoped that it would help them bond but it didnt work. His brother had taking off in Finn’s car, leaving him stranded.
When Grace and Finn both got to the car rental place they both needed a car to get them home but the problem was that the rental place only had one vechiel left. They decided to share the truck and share the driving.
This book is so fun. Samantha knows how to get u into a book and not want to stop..
I read this book with a permanent smile. From the name, backstory, the dialogue, chemistry, adventures and conclusion I was entertained and happy. Finn and Grace are full of personality and I absolutely loved their conversations and how their relationship developed.
From the beginning of the book both Finn and Grace were experiencing some low moments, but the way that the handled it and the way they moved on from them was refreshing and of course full of love and laughter. Some scenes took me completely by surprise and I live for that in a book…hello, roundhouse kick!!
If you have read any SC books you know there are some life lessons and insightful moments in all her books and this one was no different! The family dynamic on both sides, the internal conflict of how and what emotions they were feeling, and more are relatable and engaging. The scene where Grace is debating what was best with Finn, to fly or stay the path..is one where we can all relate to within ourselves in decision making.
I enjoyed this book and am I excited for this new series! Thank you for the chance to read this book and share my opinions!

Amazing and fabulous start to a new series! Absolutely loved it! Very entertaining and a fun read! Terrific characters with hot chemistry.
Can not wait for the next book in the series! Highly recommend!
Freaking FABULOUS is what this book is, and if the rest of the series is even half as good, yes half, it will still be great!!!
Yes, in deedy, this book certainly has ALLLL of the feels. My absolute, FAVORITE type of book!!!
I laughed, soooo many times. I could just see in my mind the frustration on Finn’s face so many times. Watching as Grace just made Finn open up. Sigh!!!
And anger, that too, Dave, Finn’s brother, I wanted to punch him bad (grow the fheck up). And Finn, when Grace told him to let… Stoooop, I can’t give anything away, sorry ladies. Let me just say this, I wanted to punch him big time.
OMG, the tears! I cried like a baby when they got to that one place, and again, ladies, I am not going to give more away. My heart was just breaking into a million pieces for Grace.
And, yeah, Dave sort of redeemed himself when he…
When I read about this series coming out earlier this year, I could not wait for it to hit my tablet. And now that I have read this phenomenal book, I hit the buy button for the audio version, which comes out on March 24th, and I cannot wait to listen.
I was gifted with a copy of this fabulous book for my reading pleasure and for my opinions about the book.
In my opinion, if you like to read romance with absolutely all of the feels, you will love this book as much as I have.
Thank you for reading my review <3 And have a great day.
Happy reading!!
Drive Me Crazy is book one in the RoadTripping series. This was a fun story to read. I loved the banter between Grace and Finn. I’m definitely looking forward to more in this series. Pick this one up, you can’t go wrong.
What a wonderful start to a series full of road trips! Grace and Finn were the strangers who wanted to rent the last vehicle at the rental lot. Grace is a runaway bride and Finn’s car just got stolen by his brother! These two are opposites attract, but they have chemistry in spades! Their banter was hilarious and steamy too. This was a fun book to read.
