Distracted. Disturbed. Unhinged.Crazy.Yeah, that’s the best word for it. Just one glance at Harper Jennings drives me crazy. She’s my best friend’s sister, and sneaking around with her was the most exciting thing in the world — until it wasn’t.When our secrets come to light, we soon learn life’s messy, and so is love. Faced with her mortality, my mere existence as a man is reduced to nothing. That … is reduced to nothing.
That was then and this is now.
I may have been the one to walk away eight years ago, but I’ll be damned if I do it again. My craving for her is stronger than ever, and like it or not, she wants me, too. I did what I had to back then for her.
Now, I’ll do what I damn well please for us.
The point is… we can’t help who we fall in love with. Even if it drives us crazy, I’ll make her mine.

Ridge and Harper are amazing. This entire group of characters make you wish they were real. Their love was stronger than anything life could throw at them. I love a good second chance romance and this was amazing.
Oh wow. I had to recover after reading this book before I left my review. What an emotional roller coaster ride this book is. Once I started reading this book I did not want to put it down. The main characters are amazing and made for each other. This author has done an absolutely amazing job of writing this story, 10 stars to her. Fantastic book and highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this book. It was one that made you feel many emotions and really took you for the ride of the story about these characters in this book. Crying and and feeling the love they felt was very well written. I’m looking forward to other books by this author.
Ridge has loved Harper since they were teenagers. As they sneak around they eventually get caught.
Harper is forced to marry Weston, her so called college boyfriend.
Will Ridge and Harper get a second chance at love.
This book gripped me from the beginning! I couldn’t put it down! I loved the story line. It had all the feels: angst, friendship, a little drama and love, sweet love!! Highly recommend!
This emotional read deals with abuse and finally finding yourself again. Ridge and his best friend Mack (Mackenzie) have the small town gossiping. Mack is pregnant and he promises to stand by her. He has always loved Harper but didn’t think he was good enough for her. Harper has a twin brother Landon. They played as kids with Ridge in an old treehouse. She has always loved Ridge but they kept each other a secret afraid of what people would think. She got accepted to the University of South Carolina in Charleston and that is where her nightmare began. This was well written, the storyline pulls you in from the very first page to the last. The characters pull at your heartstrings and have you rooting for them to have an HEA ending.
This is an emotional roller coaster of a read.
Harper and Ridge secret relationship had them making plans. Falling in love, college, marriage and their HEA. But nothing goes as plan. Harper’s life takes a wrong road and the pain it causes her is both physical and mental. She needs to run. And runs back to her hometown where her true love is.
Ridge felt he’d never be good enough for Harper but when he lost her he lost his lite. He has started his businesses and is uncle to a beautiful girl and his best friend continues to say on him. But his heart is lost.
When these two get together again they must put their demons to rest. Harper needs to heal and forgive herself. Know she preserves love. Ridge must realize he is “good enough” and Harper is his life.
Many up and downs in this one. You’ll feel the pain.
This does touch on sensitive issues.
This book was not for me. It was really hard to read it, but I always try to come thru and finish my books.
It’s supposed to be second chance at love for Harper and Ridge who get separated by her boyfriend who comes out of nowhere. One moment they are together deciding their future and the next she’s getting proposed and accepting marriage to someone else. Then a lot of terrible things happen to her.
Ridge is best friend with Mac but she has her own family, and their dynamic is a little weird, he’s always extra flirting with all the females around. I don’t know if this is part of a series of stand alone novels, just didn’t feel it.
At the end they get their happy ever after.
Luxx threw my emotions into a tailspin. Ridge and Harper are young lovers faced with adult heartache. What began as friendship, quickly spirals out of control in the most heartbreaking of ways. Will the lessons they learned the first time around help them survive their second chance? Drive me Crazy is rollercoaster ride. These characters will bleed you dry before breathing new life into your soul.
I received this ARC from Bad Boy Update. Ridge has been in love with his best friend’s sister forever. He and Harper snuck around, fearing her brother’s and her family’s disapproval if found out. Thought they knew they loved each other, neither would admit the truth and when Ridge’s best friend needed help he chose her over Harper. Between that betrayal, the rumor mill and the guy her family wanted for her Ridge let her go. Years later she is back, no one knowing the hell she has lived through until her brother picks her up. Nothing was/is as it seems, misunderstandings need to cleared up and the danger around Harper is still real. Ridge has always hoped for another chance with Harper and not nothing or no one will stand in his way. This is such an emotional story, but a great one!!
This is a very sweet book of pain and love that can change your life. Harper is in love with Ridge. Ridge is best friends with Harper’s twin brother Landon. Harper is young and full of life and sneaking around with Ridge wasn’t the best plan but when you love with your whole heart you want everything and happiness. Ridge wouldn’t own up to his feelings which crushed Harper and she went on and married someone other than Ridge because she thought he never loved her, but it wasn’t true. Harper marries Weston who is awful. He hits her and kicks her and abuses her till she has no option but to run away. She goes home to safety and everything a comes as love and hope. Harper has to allow herself to heal which is hard since everything is crashing on her. She needs to protect herself and hope for forgiveness. It’s a great book!!!
This was Harper and Ridge’s story and it’s one emotional roller coaster. This is a great book, well written with interesting and likable characters. Lots of drama, plenty of heartbreak but a second chance at love. Be warned that once you start reading you will find this book hard to put down. So grab a comfy spot, a cold drink and be prepared to lose a little sleep. A winner for sure. I read an arc via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to write a review.
The tittle to the book is appropriate because the characters drove me crazy and not in a good way. Both Harper and Ridge’s thinking and the decisions they made drove me bonkers. They didn’t make any sense at all and I just couldn’t get into their story. This was definitely not my cup of tea.
When life throws you a curve ball the only thing you can do is walk away and let her go that is what Ridge did. He and Harper were sweethearts, young love, the want and need at the tip of their fingers until rumors swirled and Harper believes what she’s hearing and all that does for Ridge is solidify he’s not good enough for her. Harper and Ridge leading separate lives and not for the better.
Harper has been through the ringer and all she wants is Ridge in her life, she’s never stopped loving him, and when these two come face to face the feelings, the spark and the chemistry is there all she needs is to prove to him he’s all she’ll ever need. This is my first book by this author and I loved it. Amazing heartfelt emotional love story. I received a copy of this book.
Drive me crazy has all the original families from the Cherry Groves days onwards, but this book could be read as a standalone.
Hold on tight, this book is a rollercoaster ride of the good, the bad and the ugly, and the emotions are in full swing.

*Triggers for domestic and emotional spousal abuse*
I was drawn in right from the beginning with the great character and storyline development and as each and every page was turned Ridge and Harper pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
5 amazing stars to yet another book from Leaona. The book so full of all of the emotions. Love, regret, love, want, love, lust, and then some more love.
Like all of her books this one also shows that besides true love from your soulmate one also needs true friends.
This this the first book that I’ve ever read by this author and I sat and read it all in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down was awesome. This is a fantastic second chance romance book and it will have you gripped and your emotions all over the place.
This is Ridge and Harper’s story and its truly a story that you don’t want to miss.
These two have known each other a long time and have loved each other just as much, but when they are separated for a few years after life throws a few curve balls at them they think that they will never see each other again.
Ridge is a man that has loved this woman for as long as he can remember and he has always has these feelings of not being good enough for her as a person, as someone that needed to be there for her when she needed him as a man. This is the reason I think that he regrets letting her go all this years ago.
Harper is an extremely strong woman that has been through a lot in her life and is still going through some things but the thing that has stayed are the feelings for Ridge. He knows now that he will never let her go again no matter what it takes.
Can these two souls put everything behind them and start again?
( NO SPOILERS)
They were both together when they were younger and they thought at the time that they would be together forever. Ridge wanted her more than he ever has in his life and she was like an addiction to his mind and body and he has learnt from the past. Life and love are always messy and I think that is what these characters learnt. This book lets the reader make a connection to the characters and you will really feel what these have been though and the challenging moments that they have had. I will defiantly go back and read book one in this series because I loved this book so much and I really like the way that this author writes. This story is a beautiful read and I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
This book is out now.
Ridge and Harper’s emotional story.
Ridge and Harper have loved each other since they were children. They were inseparable as friends, and then as teenagers. Until life and reality intervened. Living in a small town can be a great challenge. The rumors that swarm around Ridge and his best friend Mack, hurt Harper more than she can possibly explain. The fact that Ridge feels as though he will never be good enough for Harper, keeps him from going all in with her.
Choices are made, and they are separated for years. they both feel as though the other is living a better life than they are. But the love that they feel for each other is still there. Ridge will stop at nothing to make sure that Harper is safe and sound. And when an opportunity presents itself to take care of her, he does, in the best way possible.
Their story is beautiful. This book is filled with so much. It steals your heart and then gives it back to you filled with the possibility of a proper future.
If you love angst and second chances, then this is the book for you.
Harper and Ridge have been in love since they were children, but circumstances and choices they made as teens keep them apart. Now, Harper is back after getting out of an abusive marriage and they love they felt for each other is just as strong now as it was then, yet there are secrets they each have that still keep them apart.
When the secrets they each hold come out, will their love still be enough to finally give them a chance?
Ridge and Harper are great characters. While they each have their flaws, they are still lovable and you find yourself rooting for them to get their second chance.
I love seeing characters from previous books making appearances in the book. While it can be read as a stand alone, it is still part of a world Leaona has created and what a lovely world it is.
If you read this book and enjoy it, I encourage you to check out her other books as well if you have not already done so.
