Distracted. Disturbed. Unhinged.Crazy.Yeah, that’s the best word for it. Just one glance at Harper Jennings drives me crazy. She’s my best friend’s sister, and sneaking around with her was the most exciting thing in the world — until it wasn’t.When our secrets come to light, we soon learn life’s messy, and so is love. Faced with her mortality, my mere existence as a man is reduced to nothing. That … is reduced to nothing.
That was then and this is now.
I may have been the one to walk away eight years ago, but I’ll be damned if I do it again. My craving for her is stronger than ever, and like it or not, she wants me, too. I did what I had to back then for her.
Now, I’ll do what I damn well please for us.
The point is… we can’t help who we fall in love with. Even if it drives us crazy, I’ll make her mine.

Drive Me Crazy: Redemption Highway: Little River
Leaona Luxx
WOW. This is the first book I have read from the talented Ms. Luxx, and it definitely will not be the last. This book has all the feels. You will go through so many emotions while reading it…and will feel so many things for Ridge and Harper. Sometimes you want to shout at both of them and say just talk….open up and talk!! This probably is now my favorite second chance romance. Ridge is a guy that any woman would be very lucky to have in their life. He is loyal and will do any and everything for those he loves to the point that he puts himself last for everything and even sabotages himself. Harper is much stronger than she gives herself credit for. The ending was amazing!! I am looking forward to reading more by this author and going back and reading the others in this series set in Cherry Grove, SC.
Wow!!! I honestly am so shocked at how this book not only ended, but started. There were so many times when I wasn’t sure how this book would end! I’m so happy that there was an HEA!!! Ridge is sooo sweet and romantic, he definitely deserved his HEA!! Very good book overall!
This was a sweet second chance read about Ridge and Harper. They were soulmates when they met as children and became teenagers. Unfortunately life got in the way. Years later they met and this time Ridge is not letting Harper go. I couldn’t stop reading until I finished this beautiful, wonderful love story. Loved this story and I can’t wait to read more.
I rooted so hard for Ridge and Harper! This may be my favorite second chance to date!! Even after all the time apart, they still threw off sparks.
If you want a book with all the feels and amazing characters….I highly recommend this one!
I was so excited to revisit the characters of Cherry Grove. It was in that little town that I first fell in love with Luxx’s characters and to be back in that world was a wonderful trip down memory lane.
Ridge and Harper are two people that never seem to get what they need – each other. In love when they were just kids and trying to be together but keeping themselves apart because they were worried what their friends and family would think of their relationship. This drove them apart in ways neither ever expected or wanted.
Suffering for many years apart, Harper in a violent marriage and Ridge hopping from one girl to the next, they find their way back to each other but both are so broken from their loss of one another that it’s hard to tell if they can mend the broken pieces and admit their undying love for one another.
A more emotional read than sexy romance, I found my heart hurting several times over Harper’s violent experiences with her husband and the pain her and Ridge experience as they try to mend their relationship. Bringing in characters I absolutely adored from Cherry Grove and growing in my appreciation for Luxx’s ability to write about family, loss and love – this is one I will read again when my heart needs reminding that love isn’t always easy.
It reminded me of so many things about my own life and a perspective I need to keep. Love triumphs, but never without being tested and run through the gambit. Ridge and Harper are a testament to this and I love them so much for it.
I loved this book so much! It is definitely Leaona’s best books and one of my new favorites! I couldn’t stop reading it. Ridge and Harper’s characters were fantastically written and the storyline is one that is relatable.
Drive me Crazy is my first Leaonna Luxx story and from this story i can tell the author puts a lot emotion in her story that sets a strong story and engages the reader.
Harper and Ridge have known each other since their were young and you can see the spark and throughout but a series of their fears, misunderstandings, rumours and interferences set up a rollercoaster of emotions for them as well as the reader. It was very obvious that they really loved each other once they finally gave into their feelings, I loved watching them building a life together and carving their journey together.
Wow this book was amazing. I’m not huge on second chance romance but this one was incredible.
I really liked this book. My emotions were all over the place, it drove me crazy too. Lol, I wanted these two to be together so much. Each page had such great story lines. Really enjoyed.
Omg this book will rip your heart out. Ridge and harper have something special until its ripped away for over ten years. Harper is now a damaged soul that needs healing but can ridge save her? Is their strong enough to withstand whats coming at them?
3.5 Stars
Drive Me Crazy is a emotional, second chance, sister’s best friend love story. This is the first story, I have read from Leaona Luxx, and I think she writes them well. It drew me in, and kept me reading late into the night. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what was going to happen. Ridge and Harper had undeniable chemistry, all the feelings, and they were so good for one another. I’m glad I took the chance to read this book, and I’m looking forward to reading more stories from this author.
I give this one a 3.5. I had a hard time getting invested. You just kind of got threw into it all and then there were inconsistencies. I like the characters and the plot but I needed just a little more to push it to 4 stars.
To love someone so long and believe you were protecting them. That is what Ridge did for Harper. Their love was undeniable through everthing
The story is very emotional. Ridge and Harper loved one another since childhood. Things happen and they separate for years to come. Harper is a strong female lead and they run into each other again, to live and forgive each other. Their up and downs have you on the edge. Great read and I gave it a 5.
Ridge and Harper tore me up! Harper is the strongest woman for what she has endured. Her situation seems bleak until she takes control. Her determination to escape is admirable. I loved how she exudes strength and knows what she wants from her future. Ridge is a complicated but simple man. Hes wanted nothing but Harper his whole life. His need to protect her superceeds his own wants and desires. He just goes theough life as best he can without her. When she comes home, his protection goes into hyperdrive to the point where he protects her even from himself. I loved these two but really wanted to ahake some sense into them both. They refused to share what was truly in their minds and hearts and that got them into some intersting situations. I’m not saying i didnt like it. Total opposite. Leaona Luxx does a fantabulous job in evoking my feelings right out of my chest. I wamted to protect Harper, throttle Ridge, and laugh along with Mack. Loved it!

I am a sucker for a good second-chance, best friend’s sister story, and as a whole, I enjoyed Drive Me Crazy. But the story did just that at times.
Harper and Ridge have been pretty inseparable since childhood. But they go their separate ways, but ten years later, they find themselves back in each other’s life.
As a whole, I really liked Harper. It took me a while until I could say that I liked Ridge. The writing was done well, but there were some inconsistencies throughout, making it hard to follow.
This was my first book by Leaona Luxx, and I will look for more books by her.
I loved this second chance romance story. Harper and Ridge have been great friends before they became more. They both thought they were protecting each other. Now its been years and they are still trying to protect each other but hurting at the same time. This book will suck you in. A must read.
Wow. This book has all the feelings in it, happy, sad, love ,lust, broken. It is a whirlwind of emotion. This couple comes from a small town
Secrets always come to light. This is the first book I’ve read by her and it was wonderful.
An emotional “lies and secrets” type second chance romance that has all the feels.
Story of Harper’s decision to marry her second-best because of her jealousy of her first-best, Ridge’s, relationship with another, pregnant Mack. A sad story of abuse and suffering. What inspired her to attempt to escape? How much family love did she find to hide and support her in the gossiping town (Mack’s beloved daughter was named Rumor)? Most of all, how does Ridge deal with the part he played in Harper’s suffering? Great surprises in this tale of multiple redemptions! I volunteered this review from an ARC which still lacked for a good editor. Still the thrills and tears warrant five stars!
