The original Powertools crew is back in a brand new series!
Starting over is never easy. Especially when it means leaving your friends and lovers behind.
An accident on the Hot Rods construction site draws Mike to Middletown. Not to assume his role as foreman, but to help his best friend, Joe, learn the ropes. It’s his turn to be caught off balance when his wife delivers shocking news.
The rest … shocking news.
The rest of the Powertools crew join them to attend a wedding at their friends’ motorcycle garage, Hot Rides. The night could change everything—both personally and professionally.
Because while celebrating their friends’ new commitment, it’s nearly impossible to deny the strength of their own complicated bonds or the fact that they’re evolving. Their marriages, their friendships, and their futures hang in the balance.
At the end of the festivities, who will stay and who will go?
This is a standalone book set in the Powertools universe. All your favorite Hot Rods and Hot Rides characters will be making appearances as well. Some come make new book boyfriends or hang out with old ones.

We come back to Jayne Rylon’s original crew again and find them needing each other more and more. Joe has temporarily moved closer to his family and is struggling to find his way. Mike lends a hand and finds this area to be a potential building business. He is torn though since the rest of his crew is back home. Change is coming swiftly for this group of friends. I love this group and the dynamic they have.

This is the second book in the new Original Crew Returns world of Powertools. This was another great book in the series. The characters were fabulous; the story-line was captivating; and the pace made it hard to put down. This installment contained lots of hot sex and the characters are like old friends.
I am so happy to be back with the original Powertools Crew and getting a chance to see how they are all doing. This book focus’ more on Mike & Kate and their family. Both are feeling a bit off with their best friends so far away but they are working through it the best they can. When Joe calls and needs Mikes help he heads to see Middletown a little earlier than planned to help Joe out. After Kate gets some shocking news she leaves the kids with Dave & Kayla and takes off after Mike. While they are in Middletown they both start to see what Joe & Morgan are talking about with the sense of family they have with the Hot Rods & Hot Ride crews there and they see the potential there is for more. When the rest of the crew comes to Middletown for a wedding Mike realizes just how torn Joe really was in making his decision because he is now facing the same one. I am absolutely loving being back with the original crew and seeing them interact more closely with the Hot Rods & Hot Rides crews and I cannot wait to see where the next installment in the story takes us.
Drilled is the 2nd book in the ‘Powertools: The Original Crew Returns series.
Joe, Morgan, and their kids have moved to be closer to Joe’s blood relatives. His family of friends have been left behind but are certainly not forgotten. Joe is struggling with his new position as foreman of his own construction crew, and needs Mike’s help.
The remaining Powertools crew are feeling Joe and Morgan’s absence, but Kate and Mike are the ones highlighted in this book. We read about their feelings and struggles as they deal with the separation, as well as something new happening in their life as a couple.
The scenes between Mike and Kate and the ones between the couple and the Powertools crew are sexy and emotional.
It was great spending time with the Powertools crew and the Hot Rods and Hot Rides crews. The fate of the Powertools is even more precarious in this book, and there is a cliffhanger to set up for the next book in the series.
Jayne Rylon did a great job with this quick, sexy read. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series!
As Jayne now has me addicted to The Power Tools, I enjoyed the first book and now that I am getting to know the characters I am loving it!
Now that Joe and Morgan have moved away to Middletown, the crew has not been the same since. As Joe needs some help with his new job, Mike goes to help him, and Kate follows afterwards Everyone gets back together to celebrate a wedding and now it’s like they never left each other. There will some happy news, and some not, but do not want to spoil. The chemistry is off the charts!!!!
Again, this book made me teary eyed. So many emotions in Joe and Morgan leaving the Crew and how everyone is dealing with it. I loved that they all got together for the wedding and seeing their connection again. Mike and Kate are my favorite couple and I was thrilled with their part of the story. However, I was devastated for Kayla and Dave and am super anxious to find out what happens next. Jayne Rylon has certainly left me hanging on the edge of my seat, wanting more!
The bond between the Powertools crew is undeniable. At one point, I thought it was also unbreakable. Recent decisions are really testing that fact. Changes in life are unavoidable. Will some of those changes cause the bond to bend or to break? If the ending of “Screwed” broke your heart like it did mine, prepare yourself because this one is even more heart wrenching. I received an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book as well as purchasing a physical copy which I am voluntarily reviewing.

Jayne Rylon writes multi partner books in a way that is engaging, intimate and intense! The original Powertools crew is back and full of the love, affection and, of course heat, we come to expect. Mike and Kate are the main focus this time! You will feel the full range of emotions they experience as they discover sometimes life can change suddenly, where you thought you would wind up could be different then where you planned!

Polyamory never looked so good! I have enjoyed every Powertools book that I’ve read and this one is no exception. Jayne has a way with making duos and trios come together in clusters that just fly off the pages and look so inviting. It’s worth considering a move to Middletown for anyone!
In this book, which you should read the first book of Powertools: Original Crew Returns before this one (if you can), hard decisions continue to present themselves for some members of the crew. Mike and Kate have some big happenings but they aren’t the only ones. Some of the big changes should be really good and exciting, some devastating.
Those items aside, the crew does find ways to come together for some steamy good times with m/m, m/f, m/m/m/f and other combinations. Often my favorite parts! I love the variety and the affection they all have for one another. I can’t wait to see what happens next!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I loved this story. It is always great to visit with the guys of the powertools stories.
Mike and Kate get an unexpected surprise that is going to chance their lives.
***4 Stars***
At the end of Screwed I was curious to see how Joe and Morgan’s decision to move would affect not only their own relationship, but their relationship with the Powertools crew and I have to say, I liked how everything played out and how at the end of this book, decisions were made, but nothing is fully set in concrete, so the possibility of more changes is still wide open for the Crew in the future.
As for the Powertool crew. We get a bit more time with Kate and Mike, along with Joe and Morgan and how the decision made has affected their relationship and while I knew that there would be conflicting emotions all around, there were times where I wanted to reach into the Kindle and Gibbs smack them all, even as I reminded myself that change can suck at times. But the funny thing is that while we get a lot of these four, it was Devon who stood out to me because of how she seemed to be rolling with the punches better than anyone and I just liked how she stepped up to the plate on numerous occasions.
I’ll admit that I’m still working on keeping track of who is with who, and maybe one day I’ll have it down, but I’m still enjoying watching as they all navigate this new norm they are in and cannot wait to see what happens next for them in Grind.

This books starts with an accident at the work site that has Joe doubting if he made the right decision taking on the foreman position in Middleton. Mike goes to Middleton to help Joe settle into the foreman’s position but he starts to wonder if he has held others back as well as feeling a little jealousy. Kate drop a bombshell on Mike as well. The whole crew go to Middleton for a wedding and a proposition is put on the table that will be profitable for all of of the Powertools crew. This was a fast paced and enjoyable read. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I’m really enjoying this new series that reunites us with the original crew. Checking back in with the characters, seeing where their relationships are and what changes and challenges they are facing is really quite gripping. This new series adds an intriguing dose of reality to the world that these much loved characters inhabit. Prepare yourself for a lot of turmoil, tension and drama along with of course heat and emotion as the story unfolds. This is my sincere review that I am freely posting.
Can the crew learn that growing, learning and loving has always meant being a family regardless of where they live or will secrets, doubts and insecurities bring them to their knees. Loved this steamy, rollercoaster ride!!. I volunteered an honest opinion for this book.
Oh, how I love these characters! They are all a little older, somewhat wiser, and all so perfectly aligned that one small thing can throw their world off-kilter. Mike and Kate are our focus for this book, though you know in the Powertools polyamorous world, you get a lot of everyone. Mike is in charge, always has been, always doing what is best for his crew, but now, what if he was overlooking things? Kate is missing her best friend and questioning a lot in her life as well. Mike and Kate are solid, but what if the world they have been building needs some renovating…. Never fear, Mike is still in charge, and just needs to make some tough decisions.
One line, at a wedding, when the Powertools, Hot Rods, and Hot Rides were all together made me so happy while reading, and shows how invested I’ve become in these characters. It was one line, but it really hit the leadership nail on the head that these groups are families and intertwined with each other.
“Quinn, Mike, and Eli gathered at the center. Each of them the unofficial head of their clan.”
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. So now it’s Mike’s turn to have doubts about the choices to be made when his wife reveals a tiny little secret to him. Joe re-found his place after moving for the summer to help his cousins construction site. It takes the rest of the Crew to reasure him where he belongs. A great story about decisions you have to make when you least expected them that just might turn your whole life upside down but for the better at the end of the journey.
So fun to see the gang back again! Life is all about moving forward. Joe is conflicted because he’s got the opportunity to make a big move and he’s not sure how to share it with Morgan or how it will affect them, their family and their Crew.
This one had me in tears more often but also some real good laughs. So touching and sad, but excited for Joe and Morgan’s new adventure.
