It was pushing midnight at the bar, and I was looking to make a mistake. Then he walked in. Lexa Lewis turns to a one-night stand to blow of some steam after losing her job. Casimiro is the perfect man for the task: tall, handsome, and smiling like he knows exactly what Lexa’s thinking. By the time she follows him to the bathroom neither of them need to say a word to know what the other wants. If … what the other wants.
If only the affair ended there.
Never expecting to see him again, Lexa is shocked when Casimiro and his team of safety auditors show up at Blackrock Energy, the site of her new job. And when her boss suggests they rent the spare rooms in Lexa’s house, she has no choice but to agree rather than admit what had happened with the burly contractor. Now she has to resist the temptation of having four muscled, charming men walking around her condo.
But Casimiro and the others—Kai Mendelssohn, Tex Matthews, and Jason Padmore—aren’t just at Blackrock for a routine safety audit. They have other motives surrounding the huge drilling company, and it means not getting involved with anyone working there. Yet Casimiro can’t stop thinking about Lexa and the way she felt that night at the bar…
As Lexa discovers what their real mission is, she must choose between helping the men with whom she’s falling in love or remaining loyal to her new job. Will she decide which course of action is right, or will she lose both her job and her lovers in the process?
DRILLED is a sexy, stand-alone reverse harem romance filled with humor, action, and mystery. It also contains sizzling hot menage encounters, in single and multiple partner scenes. HEA guaranteed!

First off what a way to start a book! The female lead just lost her job so she goes out to the bar in an effort to take her mind off it. She decides she deserves a one night fling so she finds one just when she about gave up. It is steamy too and just when she thinks she will never see him again he turns up at her new job on the first day with a group of his colleagues with him. Circumstances throw them all together and man do the fireworks fly. I enjoyed the double meaning for the title too since this revolves around oil drilling. Well written and will keep your attention until the end. Great for fans of contemporary RH novels. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Great story with the right amount of “steam”.
A wonderful story that not only is about what is happening how and with whom between the sheets but there is a background to it als well. When Lexa lost her job she starts at a new firm that drilles gas out of the soil working the front desk. Cas, Jason, Tex and Kai happen to be auditors checking said firm. One thing leads to another and she ends up with 3 of the 4 guys. When she discovers that her boss is not the good guy in the equation she has to be on her way to warn the guys from danger. Will she be in time or loose all of them due to an accident on site? Great and a little thrilling story as well.
Story and writing were okay. The irony – the h in this book was an editor, and this book could have used her expertise.
Lexa finds herself without a job when the newspaper she worked for folds. Out drowning her sorrows, she thinks a random one-night stand will be just the ticket. Enter Cas. One look and Lexa decides Cas will be just the man to help her forget her troubles for a bit. A quick trip to the storage room and Cas is ready to exchange names while Lexa heads out the door. A month or so later finds Lexa at her first day of a temp job. Who should walk through the door but the handsome stranger from her one night of self indulgence. Having just found out she has rooms to rent, Lexa’s boss volunteers her home to the stranger and his coworkers. Finally, Lexa and Cas have names to go with the face that has haunted their dreams. However, Cas is a sharing kind of guy, and rather quickly he opens the door to an idea that has never crossed Lexa’s mind. Does she want to be involved with more than one guy? What’s that going to entail? Meanwhile, the guys are investigating the company where Lexa works. What are they after? Is the CEO really the nice guy Lexa thinks he is? Or, will they find themselves in danger?
This was a quick read. Not only that, but the relationship development was lightening quick. Needs editing, but if you are looking to be entertained, this will do. Enjoy.
Drilled has an original and different beginning for a reverse harem. I enjoyed Lexa’s character and her band of men. Story develops well over the chapters and there’s plenty of chemistry between the characters. No spoilers here, but I plan to grab the other books in her catalog and devour them as well. Great story!
After loosing her job, Lexa is desperate for another one to pay her bills. Tex, Cas, Jason, and Kai are determined to prove that a specific company is responsible for cutting safety corners. They all want the truth. Will Lexa believe the men? Will the men be able to escape when danger comes knocking?
I loved the dynamics each person brought to the table. I loved how each man was different from each other and were able to offer a different personality to the relationship. I loved how Lexa took a chance and was determined to do what she could to help them. Steamy read!
Lexa just lost her job.. she just purchased a new condo and now she has no idea what to do.. and now she has a new job… this job just came with some new perks or should I say pecks… but everything isnt always as it seems…. this book tell a story that you will find hard to forget..

Another good book by Cassie Cole. I don’t like the cover though. I think Lexa should have been represented differently on the cover. The part were Lexa’s boss trust her as much as he does is weird seeing as she has only worked for the company for a couple of days and as a temp. I do get that he’s trying to get her to spill on the 4 guys but allowing her to see sensitive information is odd. Other than that it was a good book. You got a great mixture of heat and of story.

This is a reverse harem story with a happy ever after.
The author has done well in the way the characters in the story are developed. Each one has their own relationship with the leading lady’s character and together they have their group relationship. No jealously.
There are some interactions where more than one person is involved but the entire book doesn’t focus on it.
I expect the few typos will be fixed before the story goes live.

This is my first taste of this type of book (harem) and I didn’t really know what to expect. It wasn’t something that hooked me right away, like some books that I have enjoyed. I found myself looking to see how much was remaining in the book because the details of the audit process and the drill sites was a little too in depth and lengthy to keep me real interested. But the book finally got my attention when Lexa started to wonder about whether or not her boss was corrupt, like the auditors were trying to make her believe. Although there was quite a few sex scenes, which i enjoyed, there was a lot of drama and intrigue in this book, which was great. If some of the story could be drilled down (no pun intended!) I think it would be a more enjoyable read. Although i received this as an ARC, all opinions are my own.
This is a reverse harem that has a cast of characters and a storyline that draws you into their world and keeps you hooked, wanting to see how it all plays out and if they all get a HEA.
Somehow this book is funny, action-packed, and steamy as all hell — all at the same time. GREAT read! Highly recommend.
