“Stryker”I’m a drifter.A man born to ride through this world alone. There used to be a time when I thought I was the rescuing type. I enlisted in the Marines and made it my duty—I was going to save lives. I was going to be a true American hero. But God had another plan.Or maybe Satan did.For everything I touch finds mortality.I’m no hero.I’m nothing.I’m a veteran biker, a former nomad who survived … veteran biker, a former nomad who survived war only to live in hell.
Now I ride with the Satan’s Knights of Brooklyn and I’m drifting into a different kind of chaos.
The kind that revolves around a pretty girl with intoxicating green eyes.
A girl who has the power to turn me inside out.
A girl who doesn’t need anyone to rescue her because she’s her own savior.
Until she’s not.
But a man plagued by war and the devil inside him can never be her hero.
Gina Spinelli
Strong. Independent. Fierce.
They are the three things I strived to be.
But sometimes being successful can be lonely.
Sometimes a girl just wants to be a girl and have someone take care of her.
Maybe even love her.
Sometimes the strong become vulnerable.
Or worse, the victor becomes the victim.
Sometimes we lose control or in my case it’s stripped from you.
Defeated. Broken. Haunted.
They are the three things I have become.
In my darkest hour I admit defeat.
In my darkest hour I need one person.
I need him.
Stryker.

This book holds nothing back! It is an emotional rollercoaster from the beginning until the very end. The characters are well fleshed out, and the storyline twists and turns while taking you on a journey of heartache, joy, anger, shock, lust, love and empathy. This is the first i have read of this author and i will definitely be looking for more
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Stryker is a drifter. A man born to ride thought this world alone. He’s a Marine who served his country in Afghanistan and suffers from PTSD. He turned in his MC patch and became a nomad only to be recruited to join the Satan’s Knights of Brooklyn. He’s drifting into a whole other kind of chaos. The kind of chaos with green eyes and a pretty girl attached to them. She’s got the ability to turn him inside out. She’s doesn’t need a savior. She’s more than capable of taking care of herself. Until the moment she’s not. He wants to be her hero but how can a man with the devil inside him ever be her hero?
Gina Spinelli is strong, independent, spunky and fierce. She’s successful in a male dominated world of the stock market, but lonely. She wants to be loved. To be taken care of. Until Stryker drifts into her life as a one night stand. When all Gina’s control is stripped from her she’d defeated and doesn’t know if she will ever be the woman she was before. It’s her darkest hour and she needs Stryker.
Holy wow!!! It’s not a shocked holy wow because I knew before I even picked this book up that Janine Infante Bosco would no doubt rock my world. She always leaves me on the edge of my seat and breathless. With Drifter though I found myself on the edge, breathless and so emotional. The story of Stryker and Gina is not sunshine and lollipops. Stryker is damaged. He’s lost everything and watched way to many people die. The only thing he came back with from Afghanistan was an American flag and a whole lot of guilt and terrible memories. My heart broke so many times for him. For every solider who suffered daily just to survive. You don’t just read this book you feel it to the very deepest depths of your soul. There’s just no way to explain it adequately. You have to experience it. I loved the meeting of Stryker and Gina. Trust me Stryker has my favorite dirty mouth on him and makes a lot of dirty promises. You could feel the electricity between them from the moment Stryker laid eyes on Gina. Gina has her shares of things she’s like to forget like her brother Rocco. Yes the newly crowned personally picked by Victor, head of the Pastore crime family. So many twist and turns take you on a journey with Stryker and Gina your not likely to ever forget.
Five Facts:
1. Drifter is a must read.
2. Your heart won’t be the same when you finish this book.
3. Nobody writes a book like Janine Infante Bosco. She’s the Queen
4. Stryker is a close second to Blackie in my book boyfriend department.
5. Remember our soldier’s returning from war!!! They’ve seen things our
nightmares don’t come close to. It’s sad their left to just fend for themselves
in silence.
I will be impatiently waiting for the next book Wanderer which is Cobra’s story. I’ll say it one more time in case you missed it. You must read Drifter. If you don’t your missing out on something absolutely amazing.
Trying to get away from his past Stryker enlisted in the military. Now an ex-Marine and part of the Satan’s Knight MC and a drifter. He never expected to meet Gina. Can Gina be the light he needs? Loved this story.
Good lordbook is so good I don’t know what else to say..except author Janine Infante Bosco is an amazing story teller
5 Find Your Beautiful Stars
FIVE FACTS:
1) Stryker is hot AF and I absolutely fell in love with his dirty talking self.
2) Gina is feisty and learns she has strength she never knew she had.
3) This book made me seriously ugly cry.
4) This book makes me strive to find my beautiful in an ugly world.
5) Stryker is mine, so back the eff off!
This book…I don’t even really know where to begin. The books that affect me the most always seem to be the hardest ones to write reviews for. I finished this book almost two weeks ago and I’m still struggling with how to put into words what is still swirling around in my head. I’m still in a book hangover! Please read the “Dear Reader” page before you start this book. Janine gives you a glimpse into what you’re getting into by delving into the lives of Stryker and Gina, and at times, it’s very ugly. So be warned!
From the “Dear Reader” page until my kindle wouldn’t turn anymore, I was totally sucked into this book. I didn’t want to put it down…I made the family have a “fend for yourself” night. Momma wasn’t cooking…I had Stryker’s story to finish. Stryker is an ex-marine member of the Satan’s Knights MC and suffers from PTSD. I have read many many stories where the hero suffers from PTSD, but certainly none that have tackled the subject with so much realness as this one. Gina is a feisty stockbroker that continually must prove herself in a man’s world. Meeting Stryker over a game of pool, she can tell immediately things will be interesting with him. Their chemistry is unbelievably HOT! Stryker has one dirty dirty mouth and I would LOVE for him to make (and keep) all those dirty promises he makes with that dirty mouth to me any day of the week and twice on Sunday! The more they are together, the more her dreams of wanting more resurface from being buried deep and she struggles to guard her heart. After the first night with Gina, Stryker knows he’s screwed… she’s not the type of girl to walk away from. She’s the type that makes you want forever.
Their relationship is intense, raw and gritty and real. It is beautifully written with characters that strong, yet vulnerable. Supporting characters that make you want their story next. This book will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions that will leave you with your heart not only ripped out of your chest, but stomped on into little bits and pieces and gasping for breath. This book had me laughing and it made me ugly cry so hard. I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. My heart bled for Stryker and Gina. I felt every little thing they went through. But don’t fear! Janine doesn’t leave us laying on the floor bleeding out from a broken heart…she beautifully puts it back together again. Yes, there will be scars, but those are the signs we are healing. Those are the signs that there is hope and love in this world. Those are the signs we take to go out and find our beautiful in an ugly world. I will be healing from this book for a long time to come. Job very well done!

Janine Infante Bosco takes you on a wild ride. The story is amazing with characters you will fall in love with. Stryker and Gina have a story of both love and hate but also of survival and the ability to overcome any obstacle no matter how impossible it may be. I recommend this book it is filled with bikers, action, violence but also love, sex and happiness. It will leave you longing for the next book!
4.5 solid stars; almost a 5 star
I really liked these characters and the story. This author has a style of writing that always grabs me and pulls me right into the story. This book is a spin off of her Tempted series. This one is a stand alone however most of the characters were introduced in that first series. It’s a mix of a MC and the mafia. There are a lot of triggers in this book i.e. PTSD and the heroine’s rape and emotional turmoil surrounding that. At first Gina tries to save Stryker with his PTSD issues but then they both become broken souls and end up helping each other become whole again. This one isn’t like the usual MC love story out there. It has depth and a love story that makes you root for these two lost souls. Stryker is a hero a woman would love to hear say “I’ve got you” to her. I recommend this book and Bosco’s other book
Drifter is the first book in Janine Infante Bosco Nomad MC Series and it was amazing. This was fast paced with danger, suspense, that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat. I liked the characters Stryker and Gina, they were worthy characters.. I always liked seeing some past characters from The Tempted Series. This was a such a great read. I will be reading more of the Normad series.
WOW! JUST WOW! This book transported me to New York, in my mind! It held nothing back. It was raw, it was ugly, it was beautiful, it was eye opening! The characters were realistic and likable. It hit all the points I love in a book to hold me captive; strong willed woman, alpha man, supportive friends/family, believable and HEA. I can see there will be a lot more of Author Janine Infante Bosco in my life! I need the rest of this series!
Stryker is a returned marine who suffer PTSD, and, joins a club to make sense of his life. Gina is trying to be an independent woman and cut ties from her family and their crime life. When their paths cross, sparks fly, although they both deny their feelings and won’t commit, when Gina’s Uncle dies she decides that she doesn’t want to be Stryker’s doormat anymore.
Things get worse with Stryker’s club and he realises the truth behind why Gina’s brother, Rocco, wants her protected, finally admitting that he has strong feelings for he, he decides to let his brothers know about Gina. Knowing the only way to protect Gina is to claim her as his, and he knows the club will protect her, but they will also protect her brother.
When Stryker’s PTSD turns him into something like he’s father he decides it’s time to leave and walk away from Gina, no matter what she says to try to stop him. Stryker goes to Gina’s brother and tells him to protect her with his life, Rocco and Gina have lunch and realise that they miss each other, then things start to go wrong.
You see how real PTSD can be and how it can affect relationships, I love how Gina and Stryker use the game Five Fact to talk work through what they are thinking and feeling.
OMG what can I say about Drifter, I was heartbroken through the whole story for Stryker. Learning all about how tormented he was, was heart wrenching to read. Then I got mind fucked and never saw it coming. This is a story that can’t be missed, a must read. You out did yourself with Stryker, I never saw it coming. Can’t wait for the rest of the nomads.
AMAZING READ!!!
5 FACTS:
1. Janine Infante Bosco has outdone herself with this one.
2. Drifter is the best book I’ve read in a long time and believe me when I say I’ve read some great books.
3. The chemistry between Stryker and Gina is electric. You can’t help but feel the lightening.
4. This is one book I know I’ll read over and over again.
5. I hope you’ll find the beautiful too.
Captivating storyline with wonderfully written characters, you can’t help but root for. It is a page turning story from the haunted returning solder turned biker to the hurt love interest. Their struggle to heal each other is what romance is all about.
This is the first book of Janine’s I have read and if this book is anything to go by I will be reading a lot more of her books. This story was full of surprises, heart breaking moments and not to mention a great love story. Two broken people trying to be each other’s heroes when in fact they had to be their own hero. I loved how this book gave thanks and tribute to the men and women who have fought for us. This book made me laugh, smile and cry. Fantastic story and can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I love this book it was my first book that I read by author Janine. It’s a must buy. The story and characters were all put together. It’s one story that I could read again
Another amazing book by Janine Infante Bosco.
Drifter is book one in the Nomad series and she started the series off with a Bang. Stryker and Gina’s story flowed together so well that there wasn’t even a dull moment. It was funny, emotionel, powerful, addictive and sexy.
I highly recommend this book.
Stryker is a war veteran fighting PTSD and his childhood demons.
Gina is a strong, independent woman with a big-time career as a stock broker.
They both put on brave faces to showing the rest of the world that they don’t need anyone else.
But when they meet sparks fly and lightning strikes over and over for this electrifying couple.
They share a hot and intense chemistry from the moment they meet. And though two people could not be more opposite on the surface deep down they are each other’s perfect match. I loved the five facts that Gina gives him and the adopt as their thing.
This is a spinoff series from the Tempted Series by Janine Infante Bosco so we get to read some of our favorite bikers and mobsters from that series. Once again she brings the reader in to a world filled with passion, love, excitement and danger. Gina is estranged from her brother Rocco I found their scenes together to be really powerful going from two siblings squabbling over a bitter childhood to a big brother being there for his little sister. I hope we get more of Rocco from Ms. Bosco he was definitely one to watch.
I loved how Ms. Bosco handled the very serious issues of PTSD and domestic violence. Though this book may not be for everyone if you give it a read you will not be disappointed. Janine continues to time and time again give the reader a great story filled with deep characters with real emotions and real problems.
The love that Stryker and Gina share comes full circle when she needs him the most in her darkest hour he brings her to the light and helps her find the beautiful in a world that is sometimes filled with ugly.
Another slam dunk by one of my favorite authors, she has certainly found her groove.
This book can be read as standalone, I am beyond thrilled to read the next book in the series that I believe is Cobra’s story. Can wait for more from the Nomads.
Here are my 5 facts
1. Janine you did it again! Absolutely loved the book.
2. Sometimes it’s OK to be a Drifter until you find what centers you. Stryker
3. Gina is so freaking strong!
4. Heart wrenching Tears….I hate crying!!! You made cry Janine!!!!
5. Ducking loved that some old favorites were along for the ride.
Amazing book. Can not wait to read the next one!!!
I’m kinda mad at my self right now, about how long it took me to read this story, once I got to about 40% I didn’t want to stop then all of a sudden things started changing and I’m like woah what the hell just happened then before I knew it I was at like 76% and the story took things amazing change that had me drying tears non stop. Putting this story down was one of the hardest things I had to do for work. I loved it. Of course this is not my first time reading anything by this author and it wont be my last that’s for damn sure, hell each story I read seems to only get better and better but deep down I don’t know how she is going to top Stryker and Gina. There love story is one of a kind just what they over come is worth reading this story for. I personally wanted to scream, cry(I did), pound my fist all at my nook I couldn’t get over this story at all. It’s left me in a book hangover that’s for sure. I’m still trying to figure out how the author didn’t give up writing Gina and the heart stopping things she went through, or Stryker for that matter was an alpha of a man that would have messed with your head non-stop. MUST READ from cover to cover I do have to warn you about the droll that may come out of your mouth not the pretty droll I’m talking about the droll coming down your chin from your mouth being open cause your jaw locked up at the shock factor this story has going on. The amazing characters are just that amazing no other words needed. They told the story and kept you coming back for more and more, the surprise ending blew me away. Most of the characters don’t change new ones come in but the other ones from the Tempted series are still there 🙂 Yes I was super excited to still read at #Parrish, #Blackie and #Rigs hell even #Wolf was amazing and I can’t forgot the new mob boss Rocco( I can’t wait to read more on him hopefully. I can’t wait to see what Janine has coming up next but this is going to be one hard piece to top. This story is worth way more then 5stars hell it’s worth 10 stars in my book.
