Drew is a new beginnings romance and the fourth book in the series, For The Love Of A Good Woman, and should be read in order.Drew
When Sarah walked into my life and interrupted my most intimate moments with my dead wife, I cursed her and vowed that I would never like this woman. She was a screwup and possessed something that was so precious to me, but just out of reach. Our paths continued to … Our paths continued to cross in ways that left me angry and confused, until one day I found myself becoming intrigued with my new neighbor and needing to know what it was that drew me to her. Could I move on from the woman I loved more than anything in this world, or would I find myself unable to let her go when the time came?
Sarah
My life went from blissfully wonderful to completely devastating in a matter of hours. No longer able to live the life I once had, I was forced to become someone new. Even the gift I was given wasn’t enough to bring me out of my depressed state. Still, I had no choice but to move forward with my life and make the most of the last and greatest gift I was given. No one would ever know who I was or the secrets I carried. I would always be another woman who couldn’t even properly mourn what had been lost. My new neighbor, Drew, was surly and completely hateful, at least he was with me. For some reason, I set him on edge and made him lash out at me. When we finally fell on somewhat even ground, would I be able to give him what he needed, or were the secrets I held just too much of a burden to truly move forward?

I was looking forward to Drew’s story when I read about him in Jack’s book. He was such a great friend to Harper and such an ongoing mystery man in the rest of the books so far that I couldn’t wait for his story, but I was pretty disappointed in this. Given that Jack and Harper broke her door having sex the first day they met and Logan and CeCe were getting steamy in the club right off the bat, I was sort of disappointed that this was such a slow burn.
We knew that Drew was getting over a relationship, it turns out that he was married and his wife died of Cancer over 6 years ago. He meets his new neighbor Sarah who is also mysterious and turns out to be pregnant but will not give up details on her situation. So I can see why this would be more of a slow burn. Two people getting over old loves, especially with one pregnant. However, who wants to read a romance where the entire book is two people pining over other people instead of being hot for each other.
The pining, the guilt, the sorrow the lost love. There was only one or two scenes that really showed attraction between these two characters, otherwise they seemed like two good friends that just became comfortable together because they were both lonely. The one love scene basically just said they made love and that was it. So disappointing and not sexy. I struggled through the book till the end and wish I hadn’t. I want to read about Sebastian but now am a bit wary.
I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
I loved this! It grabbed me from the first page, kept me til the last and enthralled me in between. Well worth your time to read it.
This is the fourth book of the series and it’s Drew and Sarah’s story turn to be told… I must say that this book was the most heartfelt story from what I’ve read of this series so far.
I truly felt both Drew and Sarah’s pain, anguish, confusion, hesitations; everything…
Now, the ending was so beautiful so don’t worry guys because the series does go on and the next hot alpha hunk of a man is Sebastian 😉 Let’s see what his story with the independent Maggie will turn into 😉
Drew lost his wife Iris to cancer just when they found that she was pregnant with their first child. Sarah’s husband Todd was murdered before her eyes on the night they went out to celebrate the coming of their first child. They meet when she moves next door to him and he is not happy about her messing up his tranquility but what he does not know is she is in hiding from the mafia that killed her husband and she is also pregnant with twins. He finally comes around and realizes that he has been more than cruel to her and tries to help her. Loved this romance with two people who have suffered a lost and are trying to move forward and found each other along the way.
Drew by author Giulia Lagomarsino was a gut-wrenching, beautifully written story that brought me to tears as I was reading and then put my heart back together again. The poignant scenes throughout this book had me sobbing and my heart ached for Drew as well as Sarah. These two totally deserved to be happy after what they’ve been through. I devoured this book and loved seeing the rest of the gang again. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Woohoo! I cannot wait to find out Drew’s story. He is a mystery man so far! Who are Sarah and Todd? Who is Iris? Why is Drew such a miserable SOB? What do Sara and Drew end up saying to each other that makes them both angrier? This story is heartbreaking on many faces! Have tissues ready, as I am sobbing 1/4 of the way through the book. After getting to the half way mark, I found myself laughing at more things! Seeing Cara out in public made me smile.
RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT FOR A FAIR/HONEST REVIEW and REVIEWER FOR Bloggin’ With M. Brennan.
I received an arc, and am voluntarily leaving this review. This book was an emotional read. I really loved it. Drew lost his wife, the love of his life. Irish’s life was just as emotional as Drew’s was. This book was a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it.
He has lost his wife and he is broken when she appears. They clash and they are both broken but can they make it better for each other. Life is not going to be easy for them but can it be good for them. See if it can

I have to admit that I have really liked the series so far. Drew, however is my least favorite. I appreciated the love that Drew had for Iris but we spent way too much time on it. Six years is a long time, and he was haunted by her ghost. He was just starting to live again when her gets a new neighbor. Sarah’s lost was more recent. It has been just a couple of months. When they meet face to face, Drew is rude and a little mean. when we met Drew and Jack’s book, he had a better personality. It was hard for me to engage because Iris(his wife) and Todd(her husband) kept intruding. It is a slow ride to romance
The great character and storyline development kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book! I was so engrossed in this story that I ended up reading this book in one sitting!
This is book 4 in the Reed Security Series and as with all the others so far all the Characters are in there in one way or another, plus new ones as well. The story centers on Drew who is a quiet mysterious character in previous books and I must admit this story was nothing like what I thought Drew was going to be, he’s secrets totally surprised me. I’m not giving any of the story away as I don’t want to ruin anything, but this book is full of emotion and has a few quirky bits that made me smile, there is a lot of emotion in this book and it’s a brilliantly written page turner…You won’t be disappointed…
I am so excited to read this book. This was quite intense and page turning story engaging characters and a good storyline pulled me in fast moving enjoyable read.
It feels like I’m about to explode. It’s book, after book, after book. I can’t stop, I can’t slow down because I’m having a great time reading every single one of them.
After the third book from the same author it’s to comprehend that I really appreciate her writing and this series is super additive.
Giulia Lagomarsino is the author in question and her writing just nailed it. It’s raw, wild, free, forbidden and super hot…
Have you had the chance to read any of her books? Well if you haven’t just give her a chance.
Drew it’s the fourth book from the For The Love Of A Good Woman.
But I need to tell you something, despite all books are standalones you should read them all in order because several events appear in each book as well as the characters.
This new book explores the lifes of Drew and Sarah.
Drew lost the love of his life a few years back and till this day he feels incomplete. How can he move forward when he has his soul so damaged? The need to get away from the town he was so happy made him move to a new town. When he got into this new town, he was living with a friend that he really cherish and when she found her happy ending he got the push to move to his own house and maybe start living, not surviving like he had been doing.
Sarah was trying to rebuilt her life in a new town. It’s not easy to do it but she you gave a reason to fight for it you do whatever it takes. After so much that had happened to her she needed a clean start but when her rude neighbor crosses her path…
OK… Do here’s the thing… I’m doomed… Doomed I tell you. This series is getting better and hotter and I can’t wait to start the next one.
The plot is well written, super engaging and addictive, full of danger love and hotness.
The interation between the characters had a bad start but during the course of the book it developed into a new thing.
How can two broken hearts heal each other? How can someone who refuses to move on do it willingly?
There were parts of the story that I wanted to get into it and slap someone but there were others that I wanted to hold them. So much pain but at the same time do much joy.
This story proved that love can indeed conquer all.
Fantastic book Giulia and I can’t wait to start the next one.

This is the first book I’ve read written by Giulia Lagomarsino and even though I came into this series on book 4, DREW, I didn’t feel short changed or confused by what was going on. Her storyline flowed perfectly with characters so interwoven in each others lives, you feel the sense of family and community in the telling. This is about two people thrown together by fate. Both hurt and suffering from the death of a spouse they find themselves attracted to each other and not sure how to deal with the secrets and guilt of what they each carry. The plot is laid out and with a few side stories from side characters, this makes for a compelling story you want to finish to end to see what happens. And you don’t want to miss where the author takes us. This was a great read.
Drew has been in mourning for his wife that passed from cancer six years ago. He is very reserved and quiet. That is until his new neighbor Sarah shows up needing a jump for her car. She is in witness protection after witnessing a mob killing of a police chief and her husband being gunned down protecting her and their unborn baby. She has changed her appearance and is also relatively reclusive as well. He is nice to her and then rudely retreats. Very confusing for her until she finds out about his wife. Unfortunately, she is unable to share any information about her life or she will be moved. Well, love seems to always happen and they fight it all the way. Nicely written with some suspense and babies.

Drew lost his better half and his life would never be the same so he sold their house and everything in it that reminded him of her and took to the open road. Sarah lost her husband to a vicious crime and had to go into witness protection. Both of them have experienced true loss and Drew from the moment he saw Sarah had nothing but a hard time to give her. But something changes and now he feels that he needs to protect her. She is keeping secrets but will she open up to Drew and will he be able to keep her safe?

Drew has been struggling to live his life instead of just existing since his wife Iris died. It has been seven years and he is finally taking baby steps to moving on to living. Sarah is on the run, pregnant and hiding from the mafia in witness protection. She never asked to be a witness. She didn’t want to be a widow with twins on the way and she really did not ask for her neighbor Drew. Insanely attractive but grumpy and mean. How does this odd duo end up friends? Lovers? It is a crazy emotional ride that finds them both moving on with their lives together. Each healing deep emotional wounds for the other. It is inspiring to know that the heart can hold an overflowing of love. I loved this story. Love these related series and I totally love all of these characters.
