There are moments in my life I wish I could alter, take back… re-do. One do-over changed my world more than I could imagine. Emily. Six weeks ago she crashed into my life without warning, alleviated my burdens, then wrenched out my heart.Austin McKenna battled for years to live up to impossible expectations. Emily Dixon showed him what it was like to love and be loved unconditionally, accepting … loved unconditionally, accepting and understanding him in his entirety.
Never had Austin experienced a longing or loss that compared to losing her.
She was the first woman he willingly bore his soul to, and now he was determined to claim her back once and for all…
No matter the cost.
This is a FULL LENGTH novel and Part 2 of the Seven Thousand Miles Duet. It is recommended that you read Living for Today before Dreaming of Tomorrow.

This is an awesome series… very good read.. few shocking twists along the way…
It didn’t take long before I was swooning for this fun, loving duo again.
I started Dreaming of Tomorrow with high expectations and VR Baucke delivered!
All the emotional feels had me struggling to put this novel down.
I laughed upon meeting Patch and Murray -“woman goggles?” I interjected. Patch turned his grin my way, “you know, bro, like beer goggles but for the ladiiies.”-
I was anxious when meeting Emily’s ex, then devastated to find out he nearly took their world away. But feeling Austin’s pain when he thought it was the end devastated me the most.
I absorbed so much compassion throughout their journey, it was like I was with them.
Both overcoming their personal turmoil and limits had me releasing the breath I didn’t realise I was holding.
-“My pace quickened as the start of the dock came into view, and I almost faltered when I saw what was waiting at the end of it. Or, who.”-
To say I was excited Oz and Em got their HEA would be saying this novel was good, when in fact it was PHENOMENAL!! What a fantastic ending to an adventurous and emotionally filled duet!
I really enjoyed reading about the places in America where Emily went in book one and in book two I equally enjoyed reading about the places in New Zealand, as well as the extreme sports! I leant a few things as well! The descriptions in this book are sensational and honestly you feel like you are there with the characters, so much so I had to Google a lot of places!
This second half of the duet is told by Austin, sharing his point of view and insight into things. This gives readers a deeper understanding of his character as well as his depth of feeling towards Emily and his son, Hudson. Like Emily, his character is very real and the way he is portrays real life with his reactions, both good and bad.
Once again the fabulous humour in this book balances the darker issues and really does make you chuckle out loud. The banter between characters is easy and fun and the way they Wind each other up a laugh a minute.
Abuse of any form is such a huge issue and these books handle the issue in such a way that on the one hand you want to rip the offender a new one but at the same time you want to cuddle the victim and whisk them away from any hint of threat. The emotions are so real through the scenes so clearly and incredibly described I makes your heart break for the characters involved.
This book has it all: a sweet yet sexy romance, great humour and some fun shenanigans as well as drama and suspense that provide all of the emotions, so prepare yourself!
Emily Dixon, the girl from the bottom of the world, had let me in, won my heart, and then walked away. Now, I wanted to call keeps.
Dreaming for Tomorrow is book two in the Seven Thousand Miles Duet and if you haven’t read book one Living for Today, I highly recommend reading that one first or else a lot in this book will not make sense to you.
I loved loved loved getting this story from Austin’s POV. I love him and I love how he is with Em and everything about their relationship with each other. Things aren’t easy for these two and the past has come back to haunt them big time. Despite the bad going on in their lives they still manage to live for today and dream for tomorrow.
I wanted to join Austin and Em on their sightseeing adventures, how can you not want to hang out with them? Austin’s “dude maness” and Em’s feistiness made me want to be best friends with them. I also felt scared for them at one point throughout the story, you’ll understand which part once you read the book and my major dislike over one of the characters *cough cough Dale*. Not only did I fall for Austin and Em, but also Hudson and Em’s love for the boy.
I absolutely LOVED this duet and I am sad it is over. I’m crossing my fingers that we may see more of Austin, Em, Patch, Ben and all their families in the future because I truly loved every single character throughout the duet. I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to read these books and will definitely continue to read more from this author in the future.
From this moment on, we were living for today, tomorrow, and all the forever after’s we could possibly wish for.
The conclusion to the Seven Thousand Miles Duet wraps itself around your heart and leaves you with a glow. Austin and Em’s story continues from Living For Today to Dreaming Of Tomorrow. Two broken halves that discovered they were whole together have to fight the distance that separates them. As life, past drama and family create chaos, regression, fear and hesitation, can these two bridge the distance of miles and take the final jump. A beautiful love story that shows us that not only tomorrow but forever is worth fighting for to make a reality not just a dream.
5*
Austin is struggling now Emily has returned home their relationship is still on and they are trying to keep it alive.
An unexpected surprise is in store for Emily along with some not so nice ones.
I was captivated by their story in living for today and this book totally nailed it.
