Sometimes dreams are more appealing than reality, but what happens when you live there too long…Heidi Langdon feels fulfilled as a baker and barista at the local Colorado ski resort cafe. Her co-workers disagree, feeling a life of living alone with an anti-social feline and eating junk food, is a recipe for disaster. After an evening of investigating online dating sites, Heidi drifts off into … off into her very own Winter Wonderland where she meets the love of her life. As the holidays are setting in, a new face enters town and takes an interest in Heidi, who doesn’t notice because she’s focused on her regular visits with her “dream guy”.
Now, torn between her dreams and reality, Heidi needs to set herself straight before she loses the guy she was destined to be with.

Can I Go to the Dream Winter Wonderland
A slightly different and fun Christmas romance. Our heroine, though she is a fabulous baker and works in a local coffee shop, is a bit of a recluse and homebody who prefers time on her own and with her cat. Her friends suggest she needs a social life and recommend online dating, which she considers but doesn’t really float her boat. Instead, she visits an enchanting place in her dreams where she meets an idealized man. She is so caught up with this unreal dreamworld that she fails to see what is right in front of her in a new visitor to town, an actual man who could perhaps still be the man of her dreams. Set at Christmas time in a resort town, the author imbued the story with the sense and magic of the holiday season. The writing style is light, breezy, and bright, which always seems so appropriate for a feel-good holiday romance. If you enjoy light and fun Christmas romances as I do, this one could be right up your alley.

Not Alyssa’s typical style of writing but this is such a sweet book. I really loved it. Super touching book!
I’ve read several books written by Alyssa Lynn; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
Heidi’s happy with her life, she lives alone with her cat but her co-workers disagree; one night after she falls asleep she dreams of meeting Mr. Right and gets so caught up in the dream that when Rick comes to town she doesn’t even see that Mr. Right is right in front of her.

Heidi meets Mr. Perfect. In her dreams. She’s with him over and over, falling in love with him at night. So infatuated, she almost misses her opportunity to get to know Rick, a real live Mr. Perfect, and he’s really interested in her. As much as I want to love Nick, he’s not real, and vivid dreams won’t fill Heidi’s heart forever. I do love Rick – persistent without being obnoxious, he’s as perfect as Nick, if only Heidi can give up her dream guy. Set at Christmas, the book is cozy, a feel-good story that’s easy and enjoyable tor read.

Heidi made pastries for the coffee house that she worked for and didn’t socialize at all. The girls that worked with her were always trying to get her to go out with them or do things with them and she didn’t have a good relationship with her family. Rick was trying to expand his baking business but his partner wasn’t very reliable. He wast close to his family and the place he wanted was a bit out of his price range. When Rick met Heidi he knew that she was the one for him. Heidi had met Nick in her dreams and created Wonderland with him and a whole town where she would escape to at night. So when she met Rick and was attracted to him she felt like she was cheating on Nick. But through some emotional and trying events Rick and Heidi found their way as they the town came together to help them and with patience and understanding they found their HEA.

Heidi, a dream man, and her real man, Rick. She is so hooked on the man she dreams about that she almost misses out on the real thing. Good thing he is persistent. The characters and storyline are terrific, with just the right amount of twists to make them work for it. Loved the ending and will be rereading this one again and again in the future.

This was a cute and sweet holiday romance read. There was a definite Hallmark movie vibe going on. Enjoyed the Christmas season setting to this book because it’s not be of my favorite holidays.
Overall, this story was light, airy, funny and delightful to read. This is one of those books that you want to read again. You’ll be rooting for Rick to win over Heidi like it’s the first time you read it.

I loved this cute Christmas themed love story. Heidi and Rick are so cute, their first date ended with them throwing flour, smearing chocolate, and giggling. As a pastry chef myself, it gave me all kinds of warm and fuzzy feelings. This book was exceptional written, and I love Kiki
First off, let me just say this: I LOVE RICK! He is such a great character. Heidi, too, but Rick…! I loved the setting, and there is a twist to the typical love triangle. I love how it was handled…very imaginative. I’m not usually a fan of holiday stories, but this was so well done that it didn’t bother me at all. As much as I loved the main characters, the supporting cast was also great. Kudos to Alyssa Lynn for making these people so real.
