Love is in the air…and the hair — or so wacky hairstylist Lacy Brown believes when she swoops into Mule Hollow. The town placed an ad for wives, and Lacy’s salon is going to guarantee pretty ones! The moment cattleman Clint Matlock meets the spitfire stylist, he can tell she won’t last. Attractive women just don’t stick around dusty cow towns; his mom certainly hadn’t. But Clint never expects … expects Tornado Lacy to set his emotions spinning. Perhaps the trouble with Lacy Brown is that her last name should be Matlock.

I haven’t read a Debra Clopton book that I haven’t enjoyed. They are all so funny, fast paced, and has a great ending. I highly recommend her books.
Loved the series
I love that it is an easy read and I appreciate the fact that it not full of foul language.
Funny!
Enjoyed reading the book. Made me laugh a lot.
This book was light and easy to read, for me it was a page turner.
Enjoyed those in the story and like country
A very delightful, fun story. Wonderful characters. She’s a hoot. Great ending.
This is an easy to read and fun story about people who see the world and life in a positive manner. The main character has an addiction to all things pink (and in all shades of pink) and travels to a city where she has never been and that lacks women to marry young cowboys. With her enthusiasm and positiveness she is able to transform the city´s humour, attract new business and people. She also finds love. Interesting start for a series!
I love this sweet & Christian romance series! I’ve read the first four books – so far – and enjoyed all of them.
Lighthearted and fun to read as are most of Debra Clopton’s books. No heavy sex or profanity. Perfect for a cold, winter night.
I loved this book! The characters were vivid and it had a quirky heroine, my favorite kind. I smiled and enjoyed the story. I usually avoid cowboy books – not my favorite type of romance – but this book made a convert of me. I look forward to the next books in this series.
Fun book and fun series
I love this author!
Lacy arrives into the town of Mule Hollow in a pink convertible with her friend Sheri. She saw the advertisement of wives wanted and felt this was where she was needed. So she came to open a salon and help the town to grow.
The first day she got in a wreck with Clint the local rancher and got into a argument right on main street. Lacy and Clint clashed and kept getting in each others way.
Lacy wants to help others find their match but is not going to get married for along time.
She paints her building bright pink and soon talks the town into painting bright colors and fixing the town up.
Clint keeps getting his cattle stolen and can’t stop thinking about Lacy and rescuing her from trouble.
Dream with Me, Cowboy by Debra Clopton
Texas matchmakers Series Book One
Lacy Brown feels the answer to her prayers when she reads an advertisement. The small town of Mule Hollow is looking for women. They have a lot of lonely cowboys who don’t have the time to head to the larger towns to look for dates. Lacy don’t want a cowboy…she wants to help the town and share her faith…and fix hair.
Clint Matlock didn’t trust women and didn’t want one. Especially not the new woman in town. If the matchmakers were bringing more woman like this one…Mule Hollow was in more trouble than ever!
Previously published as The Trouble with Lacy Brown, this story never gets old. Poor Lacy just has trouble following her around. And laughter. Great humor, characters, and writing. I love this series.

Excellent, good beach book
This is a really fun book to read. A great feel-good book.
This was a fun romantic story of two very strong willed people. Loved that one character was seeking to follow the Lords will but didn’t consider that having a husband was a part of God’s will for her.
I loved this book! A very clean, funny, and great characters. A Christian book, I hope to read many more of Debra’s books.
