YES PLEASE.
It is true, there is nothing I love more than an alpha except one written by Aurora Rose Reynolds!
Lucas Fremont is the brother of Levi Fremont—New York homicide detective extradornaire whom we met in the first book of the series, Running into Love. If you’re a fan of the instant possesiveness and attraction ARR has based her Until series off of, well let me just say Lucas is the closest she has made a hero in attributes to the Maysons that aren’t directly tied to that series.
Courtney Williams is starting over after a marriage filled with broken promises. She’s multifaceted and even though she’s a heroine in a fiction work, she’s so realistic to women in nonfiction ways. Vulnerable and sensitive, yet strong and filled with perseverance. Her new journey leads her to cross paths with one Lucas Fremont. A single father first and foremost, but also an architect and the man who becomes persistent in making her a permanent fixture in his and his daughter’s life. And Maddie, this girl. This utterly sweet little girl will steal your attention and heart in every moment she is present in! She’s the gem, the rose in this story!!
Slow-burning yet explosive, Drawn into Love is unexpected! Though I’m not usually a fan of romances with ex drama and hear me when I say ARR brought it times two, I found myself not only cheering for the hero and heroine, but needing that trademark happily ever after due to all the heartache and pain their exes caused.
A sweet romance that heals the past and paves a new road to a future filled with kept promises and unconditional love!
OMFG WHERE DO I START….This was a Classic Magical Aurora Rose Reynolds book. It was so beautiful and so spell bounding…
This book is about Lucas and his Gorgeous Daughter Madeline. This Little Girl owned my heart. I just adored her. My heart was so happy when this little girl also got her HEA.
Lucas and Maddi who we met in Levi’s book. Levi’s brother so we know exactly how and why their lives are in the situation it is. It’s sad and heartbreaking.
Courtney who my heart just broke for didn’t know her incredible HEA was just around the corner.
When love came knocking and smiled on these three lives I just smiled, there couldn’t have been a better pairing.
Lucas is hands down my favourite in this series. He is hot, alpha, an awesome man and an even better Father.
Grab this amazing story. It’s good for the soul
I loved Courtney and Lucas, and of course Maddie!
Courtney didn’t have the best childhood, and has just gotten out of an empty marriage, but still believes in love. She is just cautious about getting involved with someone too good to be true. Lucas is a doting single dad, and not really looking for love, because of his last marriage. When these two broken people meet, there is an instant attraction. Courtney is wary, but Lucas doesn’t want to let her get away. She has a connection with Maddie almost immediately, so Lucas knows Courtney is a keeper. Is Lucas too good to be true, or does Courtney have a chance to be a part of a family, like she’s always wanted?
Courtney and Lucas are just perfect for each other. So much so, that I was wondering how drama and tension would be created. I didn’t need to worry.
Both of them have crazy ex’s – let the drama ensue!
While I feel for Maddie and her absent mother, she has a mother figure in Courtney, which only made me love this story MORE.
Courtney’s kindness and motherly nature makes her the perfect stepmother.
With Lucas being so understanding and just wanting Courtney, her “broken” isn’t an issue to him.
This book was an easy listen, mostly lighthearted read, which Carly and Alexander narrated wonderfully.
I must say that this is probably my favourite of the Fluke My Life series. It was more emotional than the others and it really pulled at my heartstrings.
Drawn into Love follows story of Levi’s brother, Lucas, and Courtney. Lucas has first made an appearance in Running into Love when he showed up with his daughter and his then wife for Thanksgiving dinner. Courtney has been living in Boston with her husband until she found out that Tom has been cheating on her and knocked up his mistress. She decided to move to New York in hopes to start fresh. Both of these characters have been through quite bit and it was amazing to see them both taking another shot at love.
Courtney is very selfless and wonderful woman who had the misfortune of growing up without a family. Growing up in foster cake, all she ever wanted was to be part of a family, something she thought she has found in Tom. When that blew up in her face, she thought that her shot at family has blown up along with it. That is, until she met Lucas and his adorable little girl, Maddie.
I love watching Lucas and Maddie interact with each other. It is plain as day that these two adore each other. Maddie especially is exceptional little girl that is wise beyond her years. These two really are perfect for Courtney and they really make her feel like she is part of the fold.
The Epilogue has been feeling all sorts of giddy and happy. I could not have imagined a more perfect ending. Would definitely recommend this series if you’re in mood for some light and fluffy romance that will just make you feel content.
Aurora Rose Reynolds has done it again! Drawn into Love was the absolute perfect addition to the Fluke of My Life series!
Courtney is the most likeable character. It is impossible not to fall in love with her. She has been dealt a pretty crappy hand, and gone through some terrible things in her past, and with relationships. Despite this, she is able to move forward and keep going with her life. I couldn’t help but cheer her on throughout the entire novel. I wanted her to find her happily ever after and have everything she had ever dreamed of.
Enter Lucas. I hot single dad, that you also instantly fall in love with. I loved how protective he was of Courtney, and how he was willing to do whatever he needed to do in order to prove his loyalty and love to her. He wanted to make sure she always felt comfortable with the situation, and all of the things from his past, that were still very prominent in his life, aka, his absolutely adorable daughter.
I thought this novel had the perfect mix of romance, steamy scenes and drama. Everything fell right into place as I was reading, and there was never a moment that I thought was out of place. It was beautifully written.
I definitely recommend this novel to everyone! Not only that, but I highly recommend this entire series. You certainly won’t regret picking it up.
5/5 Stars!
Best book of the series!
This book was everything!
Best book of the series for me. I loved Courtney and Lucas’ second chance at love and family. I had tears in my eyes at some points.
Loved it!
Drawn Into Love was a short, but sweet Rom-Com that I could read over and over again. This is the first book from this series that I have read, and now I am shaking my head wondering why in the heck I haven’t read the previous books in this series. Drawn Into Love can be read as a standalone, but I am assuming, it is kind of interconnected with previous characters. This DUAL POV was written perfectly. Aurora Rose Reynolds has a very wonderful writing style, that I could easily become obsessed with. Courtney and Lucas’ story is so sweet, it will leave you with a toothache. The plot was not over dramatic and didn’t drag out for days, so that is also a definite win in my book.
Courtney is so different than any other woman in the world with how she handles herself. She is brave and courageous. She has a huge heart with so much love to give. She has always has wanted the fairy tale ending, but her ex blew that to smithereens, so she is just living life the only way she knows how, and that is day by day.
Lucas – the guy that has the amazing and talented architectural brain and the amazing looks that go along with it. This divorced single dad knows how to raise his daughter, and achieve his dreams without batting an eyelash. All he is missing is someone else to share his life with.
Moving to a new city, Courtney is determined to make the best of her situation by starting off anew, Wanting her new home to feel like hers, she meets with a designer to go over the designs and there is an instantaneous attraction. What happens when the going gets good and the crazy exes come out of the caves?
*I recommend this book.

Audiobook: Narrators – Carly Robins & Alexander Cendese
While I read most of this book, when I did listen to it I really enjoyed the performances by these narrators. Ms. Robins did an amazing job of both male and female voices and I wouldn’t mind listening to her should she do a solo reading of a dual pov. I liked Mr. Cendese’s tone but there were times that it was so low I was unable to hear him without turning the volume up. I also struggled with his female voice especially that of the little girl. Once I adjusted to him I was okay but it did take me some time to do so.
This was probably my favorite of the series. I loved Lucas so much! I mean, what’s not to love about a sexy single dad of a little girl? Lots of ovary exploding moments here ladies! While both of these characters have other people from their past that cause drama, they both remained fast and true to what they wanted from each other. Unfortunately, Courtney has a secret. When things seem like everything is going to work out for this couple, she has to let that secret out. I actually found that the pinnacle of that drama was a bit underplayed and was pretty happy to find it so.
Other than the other person drama, this book was just absolutely wonderful. It’s fast paced, steamy, the characters are well developed and the epilogue was perfect! That epilogue made me so very happy! Overall, a very good read and one I’m glad I didn’t skip past.
Read through Kindle Unlimited
I loved Courtney and Lucas! I haven’t read much ARR but each book that I have read, I really liked. Her heroines are relatable, her heroes are delectable, and she has a style of writing that gets the reader vested in their story and you don’t want to stop reading.
Lucas and Courtney are a slow burn.It was so refreshing! Instant attraction, but a slow build up to the hot and heavy stuff.Their story is low on angst, just the right amount of drama, and the cutest little girl I’ve read in a long time. I really love single dad romances and Lucas was one of my favs. Courtney was the best. She’s funny, feisty, a little insecure, and so sweet! She’s the book best friend you have to have.
Drawn into Love is a lighter read so for those of you who like your romance low on drama and angst, this is perfect for you. You will laugh, it will melt your heart, and it will make you believe in giving someone a chance
Love this series from Ms. Reynolds. I fell in love with Lucas and Courtney right away. Although I love each book in the series, these two are my fave. Super good!
Loved this book!
Was so excited to have this latest book come out. I even had the release date noted on my planner. I loved reading about Courtney and Lucas (and of course, Maddie). This book has everything you want. Chemistry, single dad, bitter exes, and more. As with all of Aurora’s books, once you pick it up, you won’t want to put it down.
Aurora Rose Reynolds is always a 1-click author and I have always enjoyed her books. Drawn into Love, book 4 in the Fluke My Life series, is no different. I loved this book. Courtney Williams is ready for a new start after her divorce. She moves to New York City, starts a new job and just purchased a new home where a lot of renovations were needed. This is how she meets Lucas Fremont, he is the architect that would be working on her home. Lucas is a single dad of the cutest little girl, Maddi. When they both meet, there is an immediate attraction between the two, but Courtney is still very wary of starting another relationship after what happened with her marriage. But the more time they spend with each other and Courtney and Maddi meeting, the connection just feels just right.
I really loved everything about this book. My heart broke for Courtney, her history is filled with so much more sadness than just her failed marriage. Lucas’ ex was also a piece a work and just a horrible mother to Maddie. So for the three of them to find each other and create this new family made my heart very happy.
Another excellent book by one of my favorite authors.
5 star
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.
Before reading this story please read the below books first
Running into Love (Fluke My Life #1)
Stumbling Into Love (Fluke My Life #2)
Tossed Into Love (Fluke My Life #3)
This is Courtney and Lucas’s story. Lucas is Levi’s brother. He moved to town so he can support his daughter and start fresh after his divorce. Courtney is recently divorced and has also just moved int town. She is buying a house and needs help with the renovations on it. Lucas is the architect that is going to work with her. The chemistry is there but they are both jaded from not so happy marriages. They try and ignore the chemistry but it’s no use. Courtney is not convinced it’s a good idea to try a relationship, but Lucas is going to convince her. If only they didn’t have things working against them. She has a few secrets and he has a crazy ex. Can they push through the secrets and crazy to get a forever or will this ending break them both even more?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.
In the fourth, standalone installment of Aurora Rose Reynolds’ Fluke My Life series, Courtney, who is reeling from her recent divorce ex-husband’s betrayal, begins a new life in a new city and meets Lucas, the sexy single dad who is designing her apartment. From the moment they begin working together, they just click, but she is hesitant to let her guard down and risk her tender heart. Lucas convinces her to take a chance on him, and he makes her believe in love again. Drawn Into Love has it all – heart, humor, chemistry and romance – and I loved every moment.
This is the fourth book in the Fluke My Life series. It is a standalone, but we did briefly meet Lucas in the first book.
I have to say that I’m so happy this is about Lucas. He’s such a great guy and a fantastic dad to Maddy.
If you’ve read the first book, this is after his divorce from Eva. God, I absolutely hate her. She is so damn horrible!
Courtney is a wonderful person. My heart broke for her because of her ex, Tom.
Let’s just say Tom and Eva would be a perfect match made in Hell!
Courtney is everything Eva isn’t.
I love the characters and their story. This book just sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down.
I would love more, and I’m hoping Courtney’s friend, Abby, gets a story!
3.5 stars
I think that this is my favorite from the series. Since book 1, I have been fascinating with Lucas and his story. Drawn into Love was a sweet romance. Lucas and Courtney had a great chemistry. I liked how they built up to a relationship. Seeing their interactions and how deeply they cared for each other was heartfelt. They both had gone through a lot and it was nice to see them open their hearts again. I loved how Aurora showed Lucas being a dad. His relationship with Maddie was beautiful. He was so devoted and would do anything for his little girl. I also loved the relationship that Courtney has come to have with Maddie. It was lovely to read. This was a very low angst and delightful read. I loved seeing the relationships between Lucas, Maddie, and Courtney. It was the focal of the story and it was great. I also enjoyed the other relationships between Lucas and his family and Courtney and her friend Abbie. They were nice additions. Overall, Drawn into Love was a pleasant story.

~~ 4 DREAMY STARS! ~~
Aurora Rose Reynolds sure gives us a reason to gush over DRAWN INTO LOVE, the fourth and final installment in her Fluke My Life series.
Her hot, sexy, possessive alpha heroes ALWAYS make my heart skip a beat, but when said book boyfriend is also a caring and devoted single dad, well then I am DONE FOR!
THE PREMISE:
This is a sweet and swoony second chance tale featuring a young divorcee named Courtney Williams who has moved to NYC looking for a fresh start. She has been burned big-time by her cheating ex, and after struggling with infertility, her dreams of motherhood have been shattered. Perhaps forever. So, after all she’s been through, the last thing she wants is romance.
Well, as it turns out, fate might have other plans in store for the pretty paralegal when she ends up unwittingly falling for Lucas Fremont, the hunky architect who is remodeling her house. If his smoldering blue-gray eyes, lean, muscular physique, and sinfully delicious smile weren’t enticing enough, the big guy is good with his hands, a wiz in the kitchen, AND the piece de resistance? He is the best father in the world to his adorable little girl, Madeline, whom he is raising all on his own. What’s a poor gun-shy gal to do when this daddy/daughter duo worm their way into her wounded heart? Can a second chance at love—and motherhood—truly be possible? Gotta read to find out how it all plays out, but rest assured you will be GIDDY WITH DELIGHT from start to finish!
MY MUSINGS:
With DRAWN INTO LOVE Aurora Rose Reynolds has proved once again why she is the #ReigningQueenofSwoonyRomance! I absolutely loved this captivating story about two broken hearted individuals who find themselves powerfully drawn together and slowly but surely find the courage to build a new foundation of love! It was just so sweet and endearing and tugged mightily at my heartstrings from page one!
Sighhhh. Lucas is the quintessential ARR Alpha hero—ruggedly masculine and fiercely protective with a “bit” of a bossy steak, and of course, a soft, mushy center! So, it should come as no big surprise that this hottie gets bit by the love bug pretty fast and makes his intentions to stake his claim abundantly clear! But I am HARDLY COMPLAINING and really it’s no wonder that he was so enamored with a great girl like Courtney. She was gorgeous and sweet and super kind and caring. Not to mention totally gaga over his little girl!
Speaking of Maddi, it goes without saying that some of my all-time favorite interactions involved Lucas’s adorable 6-year-old. Talk about OVARY EXPLODING GOODNESS! Lucas as a single daddy was the bomb and I loved how Maddi forged such a touching bond with her dad’s new gf!
Which all ties BEAUTIFULLY into Courtney’s own personal journey. After growing up in the foster care system, she never had a solid foundation of love or anyone to lean on during hard times. She always dreamed of having a big family with a loving , affectionate husband and kids of her own. But her struggles to conceive with her ex and their painful divorce makes her fearful that marriage and motherhood may never be in the cards for her.
Gah. My heart hurt so bad for what this heroine has been through. But then the happiness that has evaded her for so long fills her heart with hope as Lucas and his little girl fill an aching void in her life. But despite falling blissfully in love with them both, a part of her worries it’s too good to be true and that the pain of losing Maddie and Lucas on top of all she’s already lost would be impossible to bear. And to complicate matters, would it be fair to commit to this wonderful family man knowing she may never be able to give him more kids? ARR explored some powerfully moving themes about love, family, and picking up the pieces and starting anew in the aftermath of heartache that RESONATED DEEPLY!
Overall, the development of this romance was wonderfully paced. I adored the insta-spark of attraction between Lucas and Courtney and their chemistry was PALPABLE. And I loved how they took such wonderful care of each other and little Maddie. However, this is very much a SLOW-BURNING romance with less sizzle than some of her previous books. And while I would have enjoyed some sexy time earlier on , there’s something to be said for delayed gratification! And considering their emotional baggage, I got why the MCs did not dive immediately into bed. It was actually kind of refreshing seeing them take their time to get to know each other and establish themselves as a couple before finally taking that final step and surrendering to their smoldering passion. But once they finally hit the sheets, it was HELLA HOT!
And just like with all of the other books in the Fluke My Life series, the secondary cast was a HUGE HIGHLIGHT! It was fun catching up with some of the characters from the past books–including Luca’s brother Levi , his sister-in-law, Fawn, and Libby and Antonio. And I also really enjoyed the scenes with Lucas’s parents. And since the MCs are both divorced you can expect some juicy drama with their exes to make your BLOOD BOIL!
Ex melodrama aside, this book is relatively low angst and is all about the warm, fuzzy feels and the toe-curling romance. So plan on grinning like a love-sick fool by the book’s end. I swear, ARR pens THE MOST HEARTWARMING HEAs that never fail to make me cry, and the epilogue was so poignant it gave me goosebumps!!
BOTTOM LINE:
DRAWN INTO LOVE was a treasure trove of swoonaliciousness and I could not have been more thrilled with how this unforgettable series ended!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
