Fun book!
good sci-fi novelette.
Great story very enjoyable
This was a good read. Fantasy, of course, so totally impossible, but highly entertaining. The storyline flows well and the good guys do just fine after the required setbacks. I think the reason I gave it 5 stars was two-fold: it was a refreshingly clean book and the author is a good writer.i haven’t seen much of either lately!
Good action packed read.
Good read
Not terribly original, but fun and easy to read.
Enjoyed it
Very believable story line, insofar as aliens invading. Great details about the people and ships. Can almost make you think you were there with them!
Enjoyable read
One you do not have to read right thru you can always come back and still pick it up
I just couldn’t get into this book. If you want to be bored, well, this might be the book for you.
Sort of like Starship Troopers but with rats instead of bugs.
Being a history fan, I enjoyed the reworking of the historical battle this story was based on into a sci-fi story. I wonder how many other readers saw the battle of Rourke’s Drift during the Zulu war in this story?
Enjoyed this series of books. Good author
A nice book.
Excellent! Well balanced and not a lot of switching back and forth. A good read.
Greta read. I enjoyed it all the way to the end.
Love the story line, made me want the next book in the series,
I suffered all the way to the end of this book for no other reason than it being a fast read. I wouldn’t recommend it to an adult audience so don’t waste your time if you are over the age of 10 (and even then I’m not so sure).
