Kept me on edge. Couldn’t put it down!
This is the second book I read by E>H> Reinhard. This one was fabulous, couldn’t put it down. Full of suspense. Read this book in one day. I’m beginning to think I should take a break between these mystery’s I read because I don’t get anything done.
I have read all of this series now and enjoyed them all.
From start to finish the action doesn’t stop. The characters are very realistic and believable as is the story. Looking forward to the next book in this series. Highly recommend!
Couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Very fast read.
Enjoyable, quick read. Perhaps a little too detailed on some of the minutia.
Easy read gumshoe detective story. Characters moved within predictable roles as the reader becomes more and more bored with the review of old evidence. The ending was unpredictable in some ways but maybe not enough to make the book worth the read.
The story line was a good one however: too much information was given up front and the reader didn’t have to guess who the culprit was but rather, how the individual was going to be caught. Much more could have been done to create more of a mystery. Instead, the writer spent too much time providing unimportant information i.e. she opened the door, I followed her in, or lines similar to that. The frequency of them became rather distracting.
I believe there’s potential for the author so I’d be interested in reading another of their books.
I wanted to like this book, I really did, but there’s just way, way too many details of every person and every place. The writing does not flow, just a staccato of words.
Creepy perp. Characters are shallow and oblivious to what’s real in the world. Victims fooled by good looks, a flashy car, and a flimsy story. One after another. Even the female FBI agent let her guard down when she knew the bad company she was in. Dumb and dumber.
None of the above! The character was likeable and how the police figured it out was fascinating I enjoyed it tremendously and would like to read number two in the series.
It was interesting!
Full of surprises.
Agent Rawlings new to the FBI but not knew to crime. After 10 years as a homicide cop in Tampa.First FBI task find a serial killer in Chicago where he has never been before.
Kept me up late. Good read!
I read mainly for style. The story is OK, but the style is so so
Hard to put down.
It was fast moving and I really enjoyed it
loved the book and characters.
A quick, fun read. Not long on character devevopment which could have been interesting. A solid way to pass an evening.
