I am a Zmaj hunter and so have only one purpose in life. The feeding and protection of The Tribe is my duty and my honor. Except I have been spending more and more time in The City, entranced by the spirit of the human female Addison. The primal dragon at the core of all Zmaj males fights for dominance over my iron will. It would claim the shy and intelligent beauty at any cost. But to her I am a … her I am a friend. She would flee if I let the dragon win.
I will do anything to be more than her friend. To become her mate.
Bitter circumstances on Tajss threaten my Tribe and my way of life. Can a male choose between duty and his heart? Am I forsaking my people for her love?

As this was book 13 of the RED PLANET OF TAJSS SERIES – I wondered if it was a standalone or not. It wasn’t as I didn’t know why the humans are on this plane or anything about the aliens that are attacking. In amongst all this fighting we meet scientist Addison and dragon Melchior. The romance comes very slowly in this book. Yes, they do get together and with a couple of milder sex scences.

A great addition to the series, I love the pragmatic Addison, and her connection to Malchior is finally explored in this story. There are some interesting twists to the plot here and the technology that they develop is timely. I always enjoy these stories, the action is exciting and the steam level is pretty hot too, once they get to it.
Dragon’s Wish is the thirteenth book in the Red Planet Dragons of Tajss series. It is as good if not better than the preceding ones. It is so well written that it keeps you enthralled from beginning to end. It is one that will keep you reading well into the night wanting to know what comes next. There is action, adventure, twists/turns galore, intrigue and of course romance. It is a page turner that I highly recommend. Received a copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
Addison & Melchior’s story is on tap this time. The story centers around Addison’s emotional insecurities, combined with the alien threat. Melchior succumbs to the dreaded bijass during an attack & Addison has to bring him back or lose him forever. The story is bitter sweet but ends on a high note.

fun read
Melchior is a Zmaj warrior who first spotted Addison when delivering something for the Tribe to the city. His hearts immediately become entranced as his heart begins to soften. Does she feel the same way? He catches her looking at him frequently as he works in the lab. She blushes frequently, is she thinking of him. Should Melchior approach her and disclose his feelings?
Addison had been living in the tunnels until Kate stood up to their leader. And brought them to the city when Errol saved their lives and guiding the women there. She is a technician who immediately settles in to their lab trying to figure out how to bring their tech back to life they have discovered that the the meteorite showers and the stones left behind somehow provide power. She had noticed Melchior and thinks he is very attractive but not just i n a sexual way. However she ignores those feelings because she isn’t sure of Melchior’s feelings.
Can these two meet in the middle and disclose their feelings for one another, will Addison solve the problem of how to restore the city’s tech? Will the invaders destroy the shield? You can find this out for yourselves and so much more when you visit Tajjs with it’s two suns. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys alien dragons..

The best keeps getting better
Once again, the magnificently detailed world of the Red Planet of Tajss comes to life in Miranda Martin’s Dragon’s Wish. It’s the 13th book of the series, and the fascinating saga of the human crash survivors on Tajss continues to capture the minds and hearts of readers like me. That is, readers who love a sexy, sweet, slow burn love story set against a background of mystery, intrigue, strange events, conflicts, and threats. over it all looms the the never-ending mission of the new Zmaj/human hybrid civilization: to survive and to thrive. This is fascinating, first-rate fiction.
I thank Booksprout for the ARC, and am voluntarily leaving an independent and uncompensated review.
Another great story in this series of the Red Planet Dragons of Tajss. I have read every book in this series and I always think the one I have read is the best and then the next book comes out. I hope there will soon be another book to come. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love this whole alien world! Surviving on the planet itself is worth reading about. You really have to read all the books to understand what’s going on. Sometimes I forget who’s with who and have to look back but overall it’s a great read.

Addison can’t stop her eyes from immediately seeking out Melchior whenever he is around. She has to purposefully pull her attention back to the meteorite glass she is supposed to be working on, before he catches her staring at him. They were working with Errol trying to find a way to get the meteorite glass to hold a charge for a longer time since, if it couldn’t, their shields could fail and put them at risk of an alien invader threat. Much of the human population lived in the city, so protection was important. Errol decided they should take a break from this and do other duties and let their minds rest. Melchior and Addison were scheduled for meteorite glass collection – which their community needed both for experimentation and to run the tech in the city, its electromagnetic properties used to power the Zmaj machinery – so they left together.
While working, two of the dragons begin to argue, under the effect of the bijass, a primal part that lives in all the Zmaj, territorial and jealous, making them so aggressive they will fight and not be able to stop. Although Melchior was able to stop them, tension was high and they asked Addison to return to the city for now. Even relaxing at home, her thoughts are on Melchior and the deep attraction she feels for him.
Bashir enters the lab and tells them a child had a dream that Tajss was trying to communicate and prepare them for an invader’s attack. The increase in the meteorites and the timing could actually be the planet trying to help them. Thinking about it, Maeve had definitely experienced a telepathic link with Padraig when they were both marked with the asteroid glass, so maybe it could be the planet is somehow sentient? Then one night, Addison dreams of the planet. Emotions of wonder change to something sinister. Then the dream changes again, where she now holds Melchior’s hand and they turn to look at the dreaming version of Addison, a plea for aid from another consciousness – Tajss? At the lab, when they finally have a moment alone, Addison turns to Melchior to tell him of her dream when he blurts out that he had a dream, and it seemed to be the same one she had! They need help and seek out Bashir and Melchior’s tribe to help figure out what they are being called to do.
This was a well-written story where the author paints such a vivid picture of the scenes that it becomes real to the reader! The dragons are also very real by now, kind and loving, yet fully competent protective warriors. I love that Tajss itself is protective of the life going on around and within it. After 13 of these books, I still love the stories as they focus on another couple and move the overall saga forward. Despite remarks from others who are just now starting this series at Book 13, the author does remind us of how things started and why they are what they are. But starting with Book 1 is a better way to get the feel of the love and community forming around these wonderful characters. This series is very enjoyable – don’t miss the journey that pulls the reader in as part of the family.
He is a hunter and so has one goal in life, protect and feed the tribe. He is starting to spend more and more time in the city. It was all she to a human female who has become a friend. He wants more but will the fact he has a Dragon inside scare her. See how she will take it

Dragon’s Wish is another fantastic book to the Red Planet Dragons of Tajss series. Where Miranda come up with these ideas?
Melchior has a duty to feeding and protecting his Tribe, but lately he’s been spending more time in The City, due to his attraction to Addison. The chemistry between them is hot! There’s plenty of conflict between duty and what the heart desires. I was intrigued and enthralled from the get go. A definite must read!

This is a very well written series and each book added to it only brings more to it. Between the bad things to the humans and the dragons it make a must read. It is exciting, suspenseful, emotional, surprising, lots of drama and much more. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
I absolutely love this Tajss series. Each book covers a couple who when are together possess a “gift” concerning the planet of Tajss. However since this particular book ended in a more personal cliffhanger, I hope Addison and Melchior are showcased again in the next book. This is an interesting, steamy, sci-fi read that left me wanting more. Excellent read!

YES!! The thirteenth book in the Red Plant Dragons of Tajss series was something I was waiting for. I love this series so much, the action, drama, suspense, and romance has kept me wanting more from book one. This book focuses on Melchior and Addison and them dealing with the ever problem of attackers and having to find a fix for their shields. I can not wait to see who the next book is about!

Her kryptonite…
He’s her kryptonite. Until Melchior, Addison had no problem concentrating on her work. These two “dance” around their feelings before they finally give in to the attraction. When lack of communication and a fight comes between them, will the bijass take Melchior? This is a great addition to the series. There are lots of new twists and “plot laying” to make one wonder what the author has planned next. Can’t wait…

Addison is the shy, quiet, cerebral woman. She thinks a problem out and uses her technical skills to fix it. Melchior is strong, brave and dedicated to his tribe but he knows Addison is his fated mate. Using her shyness as a guide he continues to work with her, be by her side as she becomes more comfortable with him. Addison is very drawn to Melchior. This is a slow burn book but when it flames up it is explosive. I enjoyed both characters and could easily see them together.
when the planet speaks, it is time to listen? Melchior is drawn to his mate Addison, but with all the attacks on the planet and the work of her needing to help figure out how to make the power for the shields hold steady. it seams as if they will never figure out how to move from friendship on to an actual relationship.
this story is wonderful with tons of twists and turns in the plot, and great emotion!
