All I’ve ever wanted is to make the world better. However, even for a fairy, I have my work cut out for me. It is hard to stay optimistic when everyone expects the worst, especially a dragon cop whose eyes are fraught with suspicion everywhere he looks. From the moment I met Leo, I knew he was my opposite. I don’t understand why we can’t stay apart, even when a scared, runaway child comes between … child comes between us.
But this runaway is different from any other I’ve ever encountered. He is a lost mortal soul whom the world has forsaken. I know it’s my duty to protect him—even against Leo’s most fervent warnings.
Our bond is being tested to its breaking point. Who knew that very thing driving a wedge between us could bring us together in ways we never expected.
Content Warning: Explicit love scenes and lots of sexy shifters. Intended for 18+ audiences.

Dragon’s Rules by Juniper Hart is an amazing story that I have had the privilege to read. This is book number four in this amazing series and I loved reading this story. I highly recommend this story to everyone who love reading about dragon shifters, contemporary and paranormal romances.

A riveting book four in the Kiss-Mate Shifters series! The story-line is emotionally deep, engaging, consistent, and moves at a brisk pace with drama, humour, suspense, twists and turns, and so much more. The characters are really likeable and strong; their chemistry is intense and off the charts! Definitely recommended!

This is book four in the series Kiss-Mate Shifters. Another great story. This one is about Elena & Leo, a good heart fairy and a dragon police. Elena finds a homeless teen in the dumpster that takes off with her wallet that belonged to her father. She asks Leo for help. Leo is attracted to Elena. Can a fariy and a dragon be together? A fantastic read you have to get.

Draon’s Rules: Kiss-Mate Shifters 4
By Juniper Hart
A heart warming PN (Fae/dragon) Romance. Heat level 3 (kissing, heavy petting).
Each of the main characters seem to have self esteem issues which result in trouble allowing themselves to be loved. Through the course of this story they work to resolve those issues. There is much time jumping to only the highlights of their progress. Maybe the author feels readers would be bored with the daily choice at a time healing process Elena, Leo & Levi are going through? Or maybe she wants to keep the story short and sweet by trusting readers to fill in the blanks as they see fit? In this reader’s opinion, this story like Levi could benefit from a little more “meat on it’s bones” so that the Epilogue doesn’t seem like the greatest part of the story. Perhaps it could have been fleshed out a little with showing the characters’ growth in parallel scenes so that the end wouldn’t seem like a suprising rush?
The over arching moral or concept this reader has from the story is that most people (and things) with a little work are redeemable. Kindness, love and friendship are not a waste of time and this world could really use more of it.
This is book 4 in the Kiss-Mate Shifters series but after reading this one, it seems as though they are all separate stories only loosely connected to each other by the Kiss-Mate dating agency. This can be read over the corse of a day or a weekend for busyer readers to resolve in the up-lift of a happy ending.
Other books in this series which I have not yet read, so can’t say much about heat levels and such, are Bear’s Legacy: Kiss-Mate Shifters 1, Wolf’s Heir: Kiss-Mate Shifters 2, and Vampire Regent: Kiss-Mate Shifters 3.

Come join the laughter and love fighting. WE have Elena a fairy that cares for all. We have Leo who is a dragon police officer. We have Levi and runaway. Elena can’t help but try over and over again to help Levi. Leo can’t see why she keeps trying. Can Elena help Levi? Can Leo ever see the best in people? What will have with this triangle of people?

Elena is a fairy, living in the human world, earning her keep with upcycling things, she finds in the garbage. One day, when she is out searching for new material she comes across two men that will define her future. First a young, 15-year-old runaway, who calls himself Levi and a dragon shifter, Leo, who is a police officer. Leo is unhappy that Elena is trying to help Levi again and again, fairly sure that he will disappoint and maybe hurt Elena.
A really nice story describing how Elena is trying to help, but not always doing the right thing, and Leo helping her to dodge the consequences of helping Levi, believing that he will need a strict hand and a school education that Elena cannot provide.

Juniper Hart has written a great book on second chances, love, tragedy and how a little help can go a long way. Great edition to the Kiss-Mate Shifter aerie!

Perfectly complimentary! Elena and Leo see and live life from opposite ends of the spectrum. She generously, compassionately believes in second chances. Leo cynically, didn’t trust easily. Could they learn and grow enough to blend, balance and compliment/cancel each other out? Nice story. Excellent journey of discovery and growth. Elena is fierce! Well done. Well worth reading
A very good story. Unexpected a cop, a runaway and someone who can not stop helping when needed. I loved the way she helped with out pity and making Levi worse. She gave him trust and respect and Levi gave back in kind. Leo, I don’t know what his problem is at first. Maybe he just needed some TLC also. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Dragon’s Rules by Juniper Hart was a heartfelt story of Elena, the co-owner of an upcycling store, and Leo a cop. While scrounging around for things to upcycle she runs into Levi, a broken youth headed down the wrong path. She is a fixer and is determined to fix Levi. But, Leo has his own ideas of how to deal with the delinquent youth. This is actually a great story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But, it seemed more like a contemporary romance rather than a shifter romance. Nevertheless, it was great!!

A good book but not quite as good as the first three books in the series. I would have to say this was basically a non-shifter shifter story since the paranormal hardly came into play at all. This was essentially a story about trust and finding that middle ground between being too trusting and not trusting enough. It was a good contemporary romance but I missed the whole shifter aspect one would expect to have in a book within this series.

Juniper has gives us again beautiful characters we can care about. Leo an dragon cop and Elena an fairy who has an upcycling business, are brought together by Levi/ Avery, a runaway mortal boy.
Elana believes strongly in second chances even if it’s abandoned furniture or abandoned people.
Leo doesn’t believe in second chances. He fought his way from nothing to something. If he could made it, others can too.
This was a enjoyable and entertaining book with plenty of intrigue, action, and not to forget a steamy romance to keep you hooked from beginning to end.
The author has again given us characters we can care about. Leo, dragon, and Elena, fairy, are brought together by a runaway mortal. They immediately have totally different opinions about what action should take place about the teenager. The story flows smoothly with lots of tension between the characters.

Elena was looking for treasures to recycle for her upcycle business when she landed on someone. A cop heard her scream and ran to serve and protect. Dragon’s Rules is an engrossing story with, for me, unforgettable characters. This was my favorite Kiss-Mate novel so far.

ONE OUTSTANDING JOURNEY!!!
Fantastic! Juniper cracks the whip, leading the charge, winning the skirmish and seizing the reigns, throwing this baby into a tailspin with a stupefying, eye-opening culmination. A swirling vortex of stirring contingencies and sizzling events, thrusts those churning emotions into play front and center. Add secrets, turmoil, intrigue and mounting suspense, along with stunning situations and a boatload of trouble, blasts this little fella to life spectacularly. Forging through the trials and tribulations, stunning twists, sharp turns and thin lines, rushing the anarchy, escapades and wreaking havoc. Showcasing engaging, well rounded scenario’s that punch dead center with such intensity and glittering precision, blasting this little treasure to staggering heights. The attraction and chemistry sizzles, alluring and mesmerizing, exposing a deep connection and amplifying affections, binding them together perfectly. The characters are authentic and realistic with qualities and traits that transforms into outstanding personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Fantastic job Juniper, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Fairy and dragon.
That should be it. Right?
Nope. I liked that this was different than what I was expecting. Elena is a fairy trying her best. Leo is a bitter dragon cop with serious trust issues.
Throw in a runaway human and this is a shifter read fraught with difficult problems.
Dragon Rules by Juniper Hart is a sweet love story between a do gooder fairy, policeman/dragon, and a homeless teen.
Elana believes strongly in second chances, be it abandoned furniture or abandoned people. When she lands on a young boy during one of her dumpster dives, she just has to help him.
Leo is a cop that fought his way from nothing to making something of himself. He doesn’t believe in second chances – if he made it, others can too.
Leo is a dragon and Elana is a fairy but that is about the only paranormal in the story. It’s basically a straight romance story with some HEA. Only 4 stars for this shifter romance that really wasn’t about shifters.
I enjoyed the story and it’s comments on saving the Earth and recycling, what can I say Portland is about recycling and reminding people to do their share.
