Well, not really alone. I’ve got my friends and their kids and the entire Tribe to care for. It’s my life and I love them but wouldn’t it be nice to have someone just for me?
Except there are no single Zmaj left.
That’s what everyone thought until a half-wild dragon, lost to his inner beast, seizes me.
Now I’d give anything to escape and get back to the Tribe.

YES! Delilah finally gets her Zmaj mate. I have followed this series from book 1 and have not been disappointed. Every single fated couple has been an amazing story and Delilah’s and Jormund’s is another spectacular story. I specially loved how Jormund was a lone Zmaj lost to the bijass that made him seem uncivilized yet all Alpha sexy. Their coming together is unlike the others because Delilah finds herself questioning an opportunity she has been secretly wishing for: a chance to have a mated mate. Unfortunately Jormund starts off a bit on the wild caveman side which leads to Delilah being separated from her Tribe. Delilah knows that Jormund is a diamond in the rough and she hopes to have the right touch to turn him into the amazing Zmaj she knows he can be. Jormund having been on his own for so long does not understand that Delilah belongs to a Tribe that could welcome him as well. They go through a set of difficulties and eventually find themselves on their way to the Tribe, but danger always lurks nearby. Will the bijass claim Jormund to the point of no return or will Delilah’s love be the balance act in a long forgotten warrior like Jormund. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to see how Delilah and Jormund end up.
So happy that Delilah finally got her man, or in this case, he got her. Great addition to the series and poor Delilah who was happy but envious at being surrounded by all the couples when there was no one for her—finally gets an HEA. Fun fast read with both Delilah and Jormund wanting the same thing but nothing is ever easy. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
This is a great read with an awesome storyline that has well developed and engaging characters that have lots of chemistry. The smooth flow of the storyline makes for a good reading time.

The storyline was great and the characters were so well detailed that I was totally glued to my kindle throughout the entire book!
This is a well-written book of a woman who had settled to taking care of everyone else and taking nothing for herself. The characters in these books are getting more depth as the series goes on, not to say they did not at first. This series is much more than one couple, it is how the community grows and interacts and how isolation from a community can make a person unable to express themselves. I loved this story

This was an amazingly written book. I loved Jormund and Delilah. Even in his madness, she started to see the real him and gave him a chance. They both deserved love and happiness. This was a great read.

Two strangers who became mates!
by sewsummore
Delilah was the only female in the tribe without a mate, it was something that caused her great pain but when she was kidnapped by alone male dragon humanoid, she fought for her freedom. At first he never spoke nor caused her pain, instead he provided her with food to eat and a safe place to sleep. She was his treasure and he would die to protect her. Together they faced many dangerous situations, their attraction to each other strengthening the ties that held them together. The author’s rich descriptions on the scenes made it possible to see in my mind the planet, it’s environment amd the characters who dwelled there. This story entertained me and pleased me with a happy ending for the two strangers who became mates.

The seventeenth book in the Red Planet Dragons of Tajss series, this series just gets better with each new book. Jormund and Delilah’s story has him kidnapping her because his madness. If you like this series this book is a must read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Jormound has been silent for a long time. He sees Delilah at an oasis and sees his treasure, his mate. He takes her back to his cave. Delilah is trying to talk to him but he hasn’t used his voice in such a long time and there is something blocking. There is so much excitement, drama, adventure, intrigue, learning, and most of all love. I don’t know how but each of these Zamj Red Planet Dragons of Tajss are so different and exciting. Miranda Martin has done it again. Love it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved this book. Jormund and Delilah are perfect together. Although Delilah being kidnapped by Jormund is not a new concept in this series, it was still believable due to the trauma Jormund had been through in the Devastation. With each book we get closer to seeing what actually happened on this planet and why. Looking forward to the next one!

I have not read any of the Red Dragon series but I have read some of her Celestial Mates. I found I was able to follow this dragon romance story about Jormund and Delilah. Delilah spends her days caring for the children by feeding and nurturing them but is hiding her sorrow at being alone since there is no more single Zmaj males in her tribe to claim her as a mate. While getting water one morning, Delilah is pulled under water and wakes up in a cave with a unknown Zmaj man. Jormund is afflicted with the bjass and does not remember his past, he only knows that Delilah is his treasure, his mate. What incurs is a sweet romantic story as the two struggle to understand each other through their actions since Jormund can not talk at the beginning. I found Jormund and Delilah likable characters, the story enjoyable to read in this ARC via Booksprout. P.S. looks like I got some catching up to do in this series
I really enjoyed reading this book, it is filled with adventure and is action packed. The chemistry and interaction between the characters Delilah and Jormund is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Delilah’s mate, Jormund, stumbles across her and her gathering party at an oasis and recognizes her as his treasure. He is lost in bijass, the animalistic madness that overtook all the remaining Zmaj, so communicating is difficult at the beginning for this couple. If you have been reading this series, you will enjoy the latest book in the series. We get to see the current status of so many of the H and h’s from earlier books as well as their children.

Delilah is a part of The Tribe. But she sometimes is jealous that she doesn’t have a mate of her own. Then, on an expedition to get water, she is kidnapped! She has to determine what it is she wants out of life. By doing so, she helps Jormund come out of his Bijass. This is a must read if you have read any of the Dragons of Tajas books! I can’t help but give it 5 stars! Keep the world building going!

Delilah primarily does the cooking for the entire Tribe. She watched the couples working in the garden, saw their kisses, laughter, gestures of love, and in her heart, she aches for someone too. But there are no unattached Zmaj left and she is destined to be alone.
Olivia wakes Delilah early to ask if she can take Mei’s place gathering water, wood, seeds, and berries at the oasis. Mei is not feeling well and they needed help. As Olivia and Dililah pick berries, the two Zmaj with them continue exploring the oasis. With animals coming here to drink and plants that can eat you, you have to be super-careful. Dililah finds her water-skin is almost empty and she can see the water a short way from the trees where they are picking berries. So she tells Olivia she is going to refill. This close, she should be fine. She sinks her water-skin under the surface of the pool and a hand comes up out of the water and grabs her wrist! It pulls her under the water so she cannot scream for help. She fights all the way but she is held in an iron grip and eventually goes unconscious.
Jormund knew this female was his treasure. Her voice drew him. She was the one he was destined for. He had watched and listened to the warriors, but he no longer remembered what the words meant. It had been too long. He took her to a small cave for shelter and she woke up, startled. He never said a word, but made a grunt sound now and then. She realized he was deeply into the bijass – an animalistic state the Zmaj fear, a kind of survival instinct — and he is not comprehending her words. Although he has no words, he is staying still around her obviously trying not to scare her. In the morning, he picks her up and waits. Because she stays calm, he spreads his wings and jumps to the ground from the cave, then carries her a long distance. They end up at what is apparently his home, a larger cave but with only furs to sleep on. All he has here is survival, loneliness, no comforts. Her heart breaks for him.
Delilah saw how dirty the cave was and began cleaning it. He joined her and moved the larger rocks and debris. She took the blankets outside and had him hold the ends while she beat out the dirt. Her stomach growled and he had her follow him into another cave where he killed and skinned a small animal for them to cook. He slices off meat for her first, then takes his while constantly watching around them to protect her. She’s not quite sure how to feel at the moment. When she wakes the next day, he is gone again – probably hunting. She feels closed in and leaves the cave, only to surprise a pack of deadly gusters. She screams and Jormund hears her, racing back to protect her. During the fight, he is seriously injured and the bite bleeds heavily. He drives the creatures off, but he is losing too much blood as he takes her to safety in the cave. She is full of shame and guilt that he was so badly wounded because of her stupidity. She cleaned his wounds and wrapped a torn off piece of her shirt as a bandage. She looked at his eyes finally and he pulled her toward him for a kiss. Panicking, she pushed him away and screamed at him. Then he got up and left the cave. Did he finally realize there was no use wanting her? She wanted him but it scared her. Would he come back?
This is such a wonderful series that I never tire of reading. Jormund was such a sweetheart and was caring and protective of Delilah. Having no language to communicate made things difficult, especially when they misread the situation while adjusting to each other. Despite everything, Delilah knew he would never hurt her. He needed her just as she needed him. Would they keep trying to let each other know how they felt? Or was it now too late?
This was a nice read. It’s book 17 in the series and is approx 157 pgs. The story was easy to follow and mostly about plot as opposed to sex. I’ve read the prequel so understood the basics but not the rest of the series so I don’t know how it got to this point. But it was still easy to read. The H was easy to empathize with. It was a little harder with the h because she constantly argued with herself but once she committed she was all in. The ending was satisfying and the editing was fairly good although definitely not perfect.
Definitely recommend
