I loved this story. The a were well developed And the story was cute. I loved the ending.
Alistair went into Sarai’s flower shop to have a centerpiece made for a dinner his is attending at his parent’s house where he was to become engaged to Phoebe, another dragon shifter. This is an old-fashioned custom and not what Phoebe and Alistair want. But having met Sarai at the flower shop, he would very much like to start a relationship with her. He is even more convinced she is the one for him when she comes into the gym he owns.
The two of them start a relationship, but he had not broken off his engagement to Phoebe. So Sarai feels betrayed, used, and is angry. Can he find a way to get her to forgive him? Will she take him back? When will he tell her what he really is?

This is an entertaining story with a cast of strong characters with the main characters being Sarai,a human and Alistair,a dragon shifter. The author does a great job developing their relationship and moving the story fluidly with all the drama, anxiety and heat. I was hooked from start to finish reading their story and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
A very good dragon shifter romance. Only one little unsatisfied niggle. Just what type of paranormal is Sarai?
It would have been great if that had been clarified.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Sarai takes an order from Alastair at her flower shop. She believes him to be rich and arrogant, however, she visits his gym to train and finds him amazingly attractive. Alastair can’t get Sarai out of his mind, but not only is he engaged, he has secrets that may tear them apart. Dragon’s mate is an enjoyable story I recommend.

Alicia Banks has written a 5-star book that has the main characters Sarai and Alistair’s relationship in trouble. Sarai is the Owner of a flower shop and Alistair walks in to order an arrangement. He has an attraction to Sarai. They start talking and he tells her that he owns a gym and if she wants to come and train for her run she can. After her best friend Mickey tells her that she needs to go and see where the attraction goes. After her time at the gym, she is ready to go but her car will not start, so Alister offers her a ride home. They start seeing each other. Sarai is at the gym and a woman walks in and tells Alistair that they need to talk about the wedding. Sarai did not know that he was engaged, as Alistair and Phoebe walk into his office, Sarai goes into the bathroom to hide until she can get herself under control enough to drive. As she is ready to leave Alistair sees her and tries to talk to her but she is not having it. She tells him to never come to the shop to see her, or call her she never wants to see him or hear from him again. Two months have gone by and now Sarai is starting to get sick every night after work. Mickey is worried so she talks her into going to the hospital. There she gets some news that she is not expecting. Mickey tells her she id going to get some coffee but instead, she calls Alistair and tells him to get to the hospital. He asks what is wrong but Mickey won’t tell him, once there and Sarai sees him she gets upset with Mickey. Mickey tells them they need to talk, Alistair tells her that he needs to show her something and if she wants Mickey can come. After everything is said and done they get back together, but there is a problem and it is Alister’s dad. He is still pushing the marriage between Alistair and Phoebe, but Alistair tells him it is not going to happen because he and Phoebe do not want it.
Can Alistair get past his dad pushing him to marry Phoebe and be with Sarai?
Will Sarai and Alister get their chance of a HEA?
This was a wonderful read and I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

Three and a half stars. This book had a lot of potential. The story is good but the characters were not as engaging as they could have been; they were a little flat. The story jumped sometimes leaving me wondering if I had missed something.
This is my first time reading this author and I think a good editor would be a big help.
Since I received an ARC for this book, I overlooked the spelling/typos but there were times when the tense changed within the same sentence which made this harder to follow.

This was a really good enjoyable shifter read and a great start to the series. I liked both Alistair and Sarai and thought they were great characters but when they meet he is engaged to another dragon shifter Phoebe and even though they are both trying to get out of it he sleeps with Sarai before ending his engagement. When she finds out she is fuming will he be able to win her back?
I really enjoyed the story. The interplay between the characters was real. I was cheering for them the whole story.
This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn’t stop reading. I loved the characters and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can’t wait to read more from this author!!!

The author has given us characters that we can connect with. So many species living and working together but the dragon elders do not want that and try to force their traditions on their offspring.

I loved Alistair and Sarai. Alistair comes into Sarai’s flower shop to have a centerpiece made for a dinner at his parent’s house. A dinner where his parents are forcing him to become engaged to Phoebe, another dragon shifter. But neither Phoebe nor Alistair wants to be married to each other, so they have to find out a way to tell their parents. Alistair has been intrigued by Sarai since he met her in the flower shop. When she comes into the gym he owns, he knows she’s the one for him. But he sleeps with her before breaking off his engagement. When Sarai finds out she is mad. Very mad. Now he has to find a way to get her back. Alistair and several other characters in the book speculate that Sarai is a pixie. I wish the author has satisfied the reader’s curiosity by verifying it or not.. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an extremely well written book that takes you away from your everyday reality to a world in which you can forget about your day to day life and enjoy being somewhere else. It moves along at a great pace ensuring that it is a comfortable read, has characters that will excite you and leave you wanting to know more about them as well as leaving you wanting to see them succeed no matter what. The story will capture you from the beginning and not let you go until the very last word is read. This is a must read, no doubt about it.
What a great paranormal romance. I wish if we found out if she ever was a shifter or not by the end but other then that the book was a real romance favorite.
