“A fun fantasy adventure populated by memorable characters. Hebert has designed a vivid world full of heroes and monstrous threats to oppose them. Frequent conflict kept the plot moving. The breaks in the action to allow details of the world and its history didn’t distract from the plot or the building tension. I expect more enjoyable reads from this author.” –Aaron Hamilton, Author

This book has an excellent story line. Full of suspense, adventure, mystery, action and a hint of romance. I like that this story shows how different races and cultures can come together as one. Good verses Evil, there are lessons to be learned here.
Slayvin is as Evil as they come, if not more. He has an army of thousands and plans on using every last one of them to take over all the kingdoms, villages, town and cities. He will give you a choice, fight under him or die. As his army fights the many different kingdoms and burn them to the ground, the leaders and their people flee to the next safest place they can go to. Each race picks up another race along the way and they become one. They learn of each others ways and how they fight and their armies. They teach each other new skills.
Sooner or later, all the people that are being forced to leave their kingdoms, end up in one place and fight the fight of their lives. Side by side as one, they show what true warriors are. Many were lost on both sides, but not in vane. Slayvin will meet his match and fight dirty as he tries to spread his evil over the battlefield.
The one thing that I didn’t like about the book was that I wasn’t pulled into it and become a part of the story. I feel that there should be more description on the things the author is trying to give you a picture of. The battles could be more exciting if the author could make you see the battle field in your minds eye. Draw a picture with words for the reader. Other wise I did really like the story line. This is my honest opinion, so don’t let it steer you away from reading this book.
This was a great read.
Tiger builds an amazing, diverse world that has all kinds of people, history, and things going on.
He does a great job of moving between points of view, and keeping the reader excited to eager to turn the page and find out what happens.
The characters are well developed, and you feel like you’re in the struggle with them.
I’d recommend this epic tale to anyone!
What a book! This is a great combination of WoW and Tigers beliefs. I loved this book and am axiously awaiting the next one!
Violence is at an all-time high in Aurion. At the heart of the violence is Slayvin, a dark evil dragon. He uses the dark arts to bend and twist peoples’ wills. The allied forces of Aurion must have hope that they can defeat him.
With a world full of mythical creatures, an intriguing storyline, and interesting characters, there is something for everyone to enjoying this story. The author has created a world that has me curious to know about its inhabitants. This is a great story.
Orcs, Dwarves, Elves, Humans, and Dragons?
How could it get any better than this?
Dragon’s Fire is your typical good vs evil battle that is pursuing in the world of Aurion.
This book follows the path of each species and how they are surviving against the Dragon’s horde and Zenari attacks on their cities. Although it would seem like a lot of different people to keep track of (between orcs, elves, humans, dwarves) it’s actually very easy to follow along in the journey for them to defeat the shadow drake.
Now if you read The Chronicles of Aurion before reading Dragon’s Fire you would know that a truce between everyone was a bit shaky at first. The tensions are high at first when everyone is trying to come together to defeat the evil that is taking over their world.
My only complaint in all of this was the dialogue in the story. It would seem to come a bit out of nowhere and at times the speaker would be going on a long spill and by the time I finished I completely forgot who was speaking to who.
Wonderful allegory life’s battle with Good and Evil. So clearly dipicted the temptations and betrayals that lead so many astray. Prejudice and preconceived notions that divide and create weakness. Doubts, fear, and greed push forth evil’s agenda. Yet still despite all the Light gives and forgives.
Remarkable story
This is a dark story of the demise of many elf, orc, dwarf and human people. The black dragon, Slayvin, and his evil warrior followers wish to take over the world. A hero, Aneri’On, arrives to save the day during the battle of Tempour. The dragon is relentless but Aneri’On overcomes all.
