Everyone deserves a second chance…
Annabel
It doesn’t matter that my husband was killed. I still love him. Now I go through my days doing the only thing that matters – making sure my girls survive. What else is there?
I can’t fall for the hot, sexy dragon-man Calaun. One of the Zmaj native to the hellish desert planet we crashed on. I’ve had my one shot at love. My time in that sun is done, … time in that sun is done, no matter what my heart is now trying to say. There are no second chances.
Calaun
A dragon mates for life. That’s what I know. There is no changing it. I’ve had my mate and I lost her.
So why is my dragon claiming this headstrong, willful, sensuously soft human female? It isn’t possible to mate again yet I can’t deny what I feel.
I’ve never imagined it possible but could this strange and exotic female be my second chance?

Dragon’s Fated Mate by Miranda Martin is an amazing story to read. This is book number eighteen in this amazing series that I have loved reading very much and can not wait to see what else they will write about. If you love reading about dragon shifters, Sci-Fi and paranormal romances then this story is for you and I highly recommend this story.

Second chances
This is Annabel’s tale and boy has she got some things to let go of. We’ve seen her bad side and this story explains why she behaves like this. Good thing Calaun comes along and wants to help her get past her past. Thing is, more pieces are coming together with each story and it seems Tajss has something up her sleeve. More questions and we need another book to get some answers.
Annabel and her group of women were trying to make it to the city. They couldn’t survive on the foreign planet any longer. They ran into trouble when Calaun came to their rescue. He was a dragon shifter. Both Annabel and Calaun had had mates that had died. But when they met they knew they were fated to be together and fought it like crazy. They had an interesting and exciting adventure as they got to know one another and make it to their HEA.

I’ve been enjoying the series and this was no exception. It’s been a while since I’ve read a book in this series and it took me about 1 chapter to become thoroughly immersed in the world. I didn’t love Annabel (I’ve met her before) and felt she had too big a chip on her shoulder. Still enjoyed the story and am ready for the next one.
I had a great time and was highly entertaining with each turn of the page. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly from beginning to the end. Looking forward to reading more.

Finding Love and acceptance in a dangerous and unforgiving world.
by sewsummore
RaiAnne was a human who had lost her husband, striving to survive in an alien world. Her thoughts of the man she married consumed her creating a barrier between the past and the present, isolating her from those who would call her friend. Her mind focused on the pain in her heart but, the body yearned for the satisfaction of the flesh. Then she met Calaun, a Tajass warrior who saved her and protected RaiAnne and the women traveling with her from harm on their journey to the City. From their first meeting, Valaun called her his treasure, the dragon had called her and had chosen. It took time to break through her reserve, to show her there can be a future for them together. I found this an emotional read as Calaun and Raianne find common ground in their fight for acceptance and love in a dangerous and unforgiving world.

Interesting story. Calaun, dragon, on a mission comes across the women. He saves them, but Annabel, human gives him a hard time. She is still morning Quintin, her husband. He was the nerdy software engineer who gave his life trying to protect the women. Calaun did his best to protect the women traveling to the city. He was grieving the death of his wife thinking that was it for him. He felt the pull for Annabel. He liked her feisty attitude. He finally accepted she was his treasure. She was so deep in her grief, she did not put off the most pleasant vibes. It was very hard to like her. She let her grief cloud her sensibility. They had a task that tested their trust in each other. Interesting story. Calaun was a dedicated, committed warrior absoltuely likeable. This is my first book in the series. Lots going on. Calaun must be the most agreeable being that exist. Even when the being he is talking to insist on fighting (with words or with fist) he never seem to lose his cool!

I highly recommend any of the Dragons of Tajss books. This story wasn’t my favorite but I still recommend it! Annabelle was in charge of her small group and didn’t see eye to eye with others. She was a tough ruler but she cared about all of her people. She is forced to go to the city because the others want to go. They are attacked but saved by Callum who is from The Order. Together they learn to trust and love again.

Love this dragon series! Annabel and Calaun both had previous loves and they didn’t feel they could have another so they fought their attraction for quite a while. Calaun, as part of the Order, was on a mission to the City for the Order while Annabel and her women were going to the City to live. In traveling to the City, Calaun saved Annabel and the women with her from an attack by the Invaders. He was seriously injured but Annabel helped him to make it to the City. They finally gave in to their attraction and love. I read this book through the Kindle Unlimited program.
This Book 18 in the Red Planet Dragons of Tajss Series is a well-written book of a woman who had lost her husband and does not feel she deserves anyone else. He thought he had lost his only mate, only to have his dragon want her. Will they make it together. The characters in these books are getting more depth as the series goes on, not to say they did not at first. This series is much more than one couple, it is how the community grows and interacts and how isolation from a community can make a person unable to express themselves. I loved this story

Dragon Warriors! You simply CANNOT go wrong with huge, built, sexy, possessive, loyal dragon warriors. This whole series is full of action, adventure, and mystery. But what makes each story is the heart. The pain, the friendships, and ultimately the love. Add in beautiful and vivid descriptions of unique new worlds and this whole series is one not to be missed!

I was prepared to dislike this book because Annabelle has been downright mean in the past books. Just goes to show not to judge a book before you read it. It was very good! Yes, Annabelle has a personality that can be hard to love but Calaun loves her anyway. You gotta admit that makes him very lovable.
What I loved most about the book was that it had action from the very beginning and I’m not talking sex. I love how they have to fight for their lives and depend on Calaun when they don’t even know him. The women weren’t suffering damsels in distress, which is always a book killer for me. They did their part in trying to survive. Was this my favorite in the series? No but I would definitely read it again and that is my measure of a good book.

The ever-unfolding mystery of Tajss, and another human/Zmaj love story
Hey, it’s a twofer! Anabel, the control-freak dictator from Gomul’s caves, meets up with loyal Order soldier Calaun on the way to the City. She’s been married and widowed; he lost his mate in the Devastation. Neither believes in second chances at love… until it happens. And while they wrestle with the differences between fears and expectations, Tajss itself, the sentient planet, appears to play a more active role in events than we suspected. Hot sweet romance blazes on a background of mystery, murky motives, and mystifying incidents – it’s a juicy and meaty read from front cover to HEA.

Book eighteen in the Red Planet Dragons of Tajss series another great story in this series. Human Annabel’s husband was killed, she meets Zmaj Calaun who also lost his mate, their pull to each other is strong are they soulmates, as Zmaj only get one Mate. Things are starting to happen that they have no control over. What is going on with Ladon? I want to read the next book. Annabel’s husband was killed and she feels as if she will never love again. She still loves him and doesn’t feel as if she deserves love.. Is falling in love betray her late husbands memory? Calaun, the Zmaj dragon-man risks his like to save her and others from an attack from gusters. She wants to ignore how she feels about him. Calaun figures that since he had a mate and lost her that he can never have another mate. When dragons mate it’s for life. His dragon wants the human woman. Can they love a second time? I can’t wait for the next book as this one stopped with a cliffhanger. I love Miranda Martin’s stories. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book 18 of the red Planet of Tajss Series. It’s hard to believe this author has the ability to make each book interesting. Calaun is part of The Order which helps to regulate and control the order of the planet. They also know that the women who crashed on their planet are part of the Vision and Great Plan. Calaun helped to rescue Annabel and a group of women in the desert. They both previously had loved ones who had died. How could it be true that they were fated mates? Another great read in this series!

Somehow I think I have missed a book or two along the way because this one referred to things I absolutely don’t remember!
I remember Annabel, though. She was a witch then and still is. But Calaun falls instantly for her as soon as he sees her even though he notes the bad temper. We do get a little of her background though (maybe that was all covered in a previous book that I missed), and she has had some big heartache. Still, a witch, though. And I wanted to smack her. Good book, though, and it sets up for the next event.
I absolutely loved this next in the series of the Red Planet of Tajss series. Calaun and Annabel were so perfect for each in that they each had lost their previous mates and trying to figure out how to handle their feeling for each other. And as we all know Tajss always has something to throw at each of the couples in every book! I was gifted this book and was happy to leave this review.
Second chance for love. Annabel violently lost her husband two years ago and Calaun lost his mate years ago before the great war. Now his memories of his mate are vague but Annabel is still mourning. She is bringing four other women to the City on Tajss for safety. They have been living in the desert but it has not gotten to be too dangerous. They meet Calaun on their way and he saves them several times. He is sweet and plainly interested in Annabel but she made a vow to never give her heart again. But sometimes love and desire are stronger and finding happiness when and where you can is better than being alone. But Tajss is in danger of being taken over by the Invaders. They need to find a way to stop them. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
